Stayed there a couple of nights in low season. Reception was good and a quick check in accompanied by the beautiful resident cat. Rooms are large with king bed, sofa, wardrobe, safe, hairdryer, decent size bathroom, kitchen facilities in the room included microwave, large fridge, wash basin, tea towels, kettle, plates/bowls/mugs and cutlery. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels daily. Pool towels are left in your room. Small balcony with a table and a couple of chairs. Pool is small/medium with sun loungers and umbrellas. Lovely to look out over the beach or the pool from the sun loungers. Plenty of eateries/bars either side of the apartments.

I stayed off season at Kamala beach front apartments, arriving at 9am after 17 hours of flying and lay overs. The wonderful woman on the desk said I was welcome to check in and go up to our room early- not something you get for free everywhere! The apartments are clean albeit a tad worn in some places, if you want cheerful and right on the beach this is the place for you! The pool area is perfect, there are some more “formal hotels” nearby but when we strolled past they seemed super boring in comparison. Cannot speak highly enough about the staff!! Be aware that in low season the bar by the pool isn’t always guaranteed to be open (when it’s raining it’s hardly surprising!).

I stayed here 23/11- 6/12 the hotel is probably the best price hotel on kamala beach, the check in was really fast we arrived at 8am and was provided a room with in 10 minutes which was great after a long flight, the room which was a studio room and a good size with a massive double bed, (which was very comfortable), a sofa and a wardrobe with a free safe, there is a large fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishes cups and glasses and cutlery, bottle water provided daily, the bathroom was a fair size, with a hand basin mirror toilet and shower with free toiletries, the beds were changed daily and the towels were changed daily and rooms cleaned daily, the cleaners were very trustworthy and the rooms were cleaned as soon as you left them (thank you cleaners) there was also a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. now the pool area, the pool was great 1.2 - 1.5meters the loungers were not kept as clean as they should be, and the pool area could do with a weekly jet wash due to dirty people coming from the beach covered in sand and not showering with a provided shower, (you also get pool towels) the pool bar is great for food and drink, the lady who runs it cooks very good food I never had a bad meal there and you should try, drinks were the normal price and brought to your lounger table the beach is nice and sea was great and very close, there are restaurants to the left and right the best was ( ponds restaurant the second to the left) I would highly recommend. all in all this hotel was great for the price and location and I would come back again,( the poolside rooms are huge)huge). local prices, a small beer 320ml from 49 bahts £1.20 large beer 620ml from 99 bahts £2.50 -120 bahts £3 food is very cheap and good from 80bahts for a nice thai dish, steaks start about 450 bahts £10. hope this helps and i get an helpful vote from you, have a nice holiday, andy

Beach front but seems the beach have some problem of oil spots in the sand.. You will get these spot on your foot or body if you lay down or sit down... A bit problem cleaning them off. Better to swim in pool if dun want these oily spots.

We stayed 4 nights here on a recent visit to Phuket. It was the best value accommodation on the beach at the time. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The staff were helpful and friendly. The downside was because we were there in rainy season the patrolled area of the beach was several hundred meters away so it was inconvenient to swim.

I made extensive research on where to stay in Phuket before the trip. Top on the list is the property must be located by the beach. Since legally permanent structures can no longer be built on beaches, the property must have reasonable access to the beach which means I don't need to walk more than 10 seconds to reach the water. Kamala Beach seemed to have plenty of this type of accommodations but Kamala Beachfront Apartments won me over due to its better rates, availability of a kitchen and its location in the secluded part of Kamala Beach. We managed to keep our costs down by cooking breakfast in our unit instead of eating out. The property is within walking distance to the Kamala night market and to Rim Hat Road where most shops, restaurants and food stalls are located. Lazing on the sunbed while gazing at the pool and the sea with coconut milk shake in hand is something associated with high end hotels but you can experience the same in Kamala Beachfront Apartments at a fraction of the cost. The pool is cleaned daily and I noticed that the property staff even cleaned the pavements between the property and the beach every morning. All in all it was a pleasant stay and I don't mind staying here again if I am back in Phuket.

We staid only 1 night there, and it was a nice night. The apartments are quite comfortable (very good mattress), little balcony, big fridge. The apartments are on the magnificent beach with fine sweet sand, in a very quiet area, 15min beach walk to the city centre. We would have given a 5 stars rate 1) a little more local decoration & personality, 2) if the shower could have more pressure, 3) if we didn't have to face a 1h moisture (after a long trip, it's a bit annoying), and 4) if the receptionist was more helpful, and friendly (and not welcome us the feet on table, which is known to be rude in Thailand).

Nice apartments and fairly priced. Kitchen is surprisingly big and well equipped. Don't expect a lot of authentic Thai atmosphere, but staff is friendly and helpful (they even had set up a babybed for our 2-year old when we arrived!) and the location is great. Thanks!

Very nice place with beautiful rooms and friendly staff . Very relaxing and beautiful sea front place ! Is just 30 minutes away from the airport, very easy to find. Is perfect place for couples and a escape with friends. We'll come back very soon !

Good location, spacious well equiped apartments, friendly staff and decent prices. Bar service by the pool is the only so-so part of this hotel as whoever runs it, shoes up whenever she wishes, one day yes, one day no, and has some difficulty making a simple fruit juives. But still... best place in Kamala.
