We arrived late at night and were efficiently booked in.We booked a car to pick us up at the air port which went smoothly even though our flight was delayed. Reception staff were very friendly and we was upgraded which was a surprise. All staff were very friendly and courteous. Bed was large and comfortable and not too hard.Breakfast Buffett is great with much to choose from.We also ordered room service at Midnight which again was appreciated. Meals in the restaurant also are reasonably priced. I lost count of how many pools are in the resort but they are warm and well maintained. Mini mart on site was also handy. I recommend this couples only Hotel !
This time I was a solotravelller and LOVED every single minut in my 14 days at this wonderful hotel. The room, the staff, the beautiful and clean pools, the beautiful beach and the location in general. Everything was just perfect. At arrival I was even upgraded from gardenview to probably the best room in the entire hotel with seaview, mountainview and poolview. It was like winning the lottery. For me personally this was an important vacation because I was just exhausted and on the verge off a stressdiagnosis. Not any more :-) I will definately be back and not necceseraly alone the next time. I can just hope and wish to get the same room :-) I miss the sound of those waves
We stayed 5 nights at the hotel and were not thrilled by the resort. The rooms did not reflect a four star standard. We were located on the third floor without elevator. In our first room the AC did not work. The hotel staff barley spoke English. Hence, it was hard to communicate the problem. After involving the manager, we moved to another room. The bathrooms were not modernized and the mattress was quite old fashioned though comfortable to sleep. The plastic roof covering the balcony might be functional but really gave a poor look to the hotel outside. The location was good with its three pools and direct access to the beach. Staff at the restaurant was very friendly and the breakfast buffet had a broad variety of choices.
Let's begin with the positives: - there are 4 pools so none are ever crowded - super close to the beach which is quite nice - great restaurant with the most beautiful staff (they were the best thing about the hotel!) - close to other restaurants along the beach - cute little village which is a short walk away - Nice room - Not to far of a drive to Patong (if you are interested in that kind of thing, which we are not) - Great breakfast with a lot of variety - there is a water monitor that lives on property that sometimes goes for a swim in the pools, and it is super funny to watch everyone run away (great entertainment). If you see him don't be concerned, he won't hurt you! Negatives: - the bathroom had a glass window which was visible from the room and if you could see everything that was happening in the bathroom, not pleasant... - the bathroom stunk of stagnant water, and believe me when you have thai tummy that is certainly not a nice smell! - the hallways like wise smell like stagnant water - Pools get very very very hot - Everytime we swam in the pool with the bar which was closest to the reception we ended up being sick, I spent my last night of a month long holiday violently sick. This may have been a coincidence and something else may have made me sick (but considering I only at at the hotel that day it must have been something at the hotel), it is slightly concerning. Overall, don't think I would stay again, while there are many positives, I don't think that it was worth the money.
Our second honeymoon went well in Sunprime Kamala beach resort. We stayed here for only 4nights and it was an awesome stay. Me and my wife liked their style of welcoming us in this property, felt like my second home. The staffs are very good with their sweetest smile and they are really really good. Breakfast in this property is great. Variety of food is available in the breakfast menu. We love the food and we are probably the only Indian to stay on that particular time. Eating breakfast at the seaside restaurant is giving a heaven like feel altogether. I had clicked some panoramic view of the restaurant while seated and it was probably the best time of my lifetime. I love the ambience. Poolside is another attraction of this resort. We spent some quality time at and in the pool with cold coffee from the bar counter at the pool itself. Massage and spa centre is awesome. Me and my wife took oil massage and Thai massage in two different days and it was really relaxing. They are really professional. The shuttle bus service is available from the hotel to visit patong beach. Interestingly Day time bus and evening time bus is completely different I mean it goes with the mood/feel. Bus driver is very punctual. The room where we stayed for four nights had a great balcony. Mountain and sea beach is an awesome combination. Poolside view from the room gave us the feel of energy. I shoot some timelapse videos in my iPhone from the balcony itself. Overall stay in this property is a great stay. I would suggest not to waste money on other place if you have decided to spent your holiday at the middle of the nature, serene, then Sunprime resort in Kamala beach should be the first choice and I can guarantee you'll never find a place to compare... eagerly waiting to see you Sunprime on our next trip to Phuket...
We stayed here in march or 2016 at the end of a 3 week Thai vacation. It was a beautiful place with all the amenities and even a Friday night market close by! The pool and restaurant were fantastic especially the breakfast buffet! Highly recommended.
We stayed for our honeymoon. We enjoyed massage at a very reasonable price. Food in the restaurant was exceptional and breakfast very tasty. The pool bar was great to chill with a few drinks and as an adults only hotel it was perfect to relax and enjoy peace and quiet.
Unsuitable for business use. Though meeting package is reasonably priced, the meeting room is not soundproof. We are often disturbed by the noise from the renovation work above and noises from the guest rooms outside. Worst still, the service at Fino restaurant is not accommodating. Jeff, supposedly in charge, is not service oriented. Refused to customise Thai dinner menu for dinner of 20 pax, only agreed after much haggling. Will not recommend for business stay at ALL.
Stayed here as part of our honeymoon for 2 nights. The hotel is ideally located next to the beach and a short walk to restaurants. The facilities are very good, lots of pools, activities, mini market etc. The restaurant has a fabulous breakfast offering though we found dinner to be mediocre at best. What let our stay down was our room and its location. The room had very poor lighting and was quite sparsely decorated. It did not match the rest of the hotel and we expected more. Our room was located very near the beach and we had a sea view, however it backed onto back of house bin areas and on 3 occasions we saw rats. On one of these occasions we saw a rat at the pool area. This was extremely disturbing to us and we felt genuinely uncomfortable walking to and from our room. Staff were all very nice and helped us book excursions.
Great hotel right on the beach! Rooms were kept really clean and the staff were great! there is a few pools to choose from. The facilities where out standing and well kept. We were here in April when it was Songkran (usually around the13-15th April) (Thai new year) which the hotel went all out for! But if you haven't experienced songkran before be prepared to get wet (plastic covers for any electrical devices)! this is all over Thailand not just the hotel! Highly recommend this hotel x
