My wife and self needed a place to stay while our condo is under construction. We first booked for a month and loved it so much we booked another two months! We did so for many reasons. First of which is the wonderful staff. Other than the super clean rooms, great dinning, great help with travel arrangements all the staff go above and beyond to make you feel like family. We will miss them when we move out. Another thing we will miss is that it is easy walking distance to restaurants serving ethnic foods from around the world. It is like being in New York! There is also many places to shop and take your laundry. They have a free shuttle to and from the beach.
I stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights and really wished I could have spent more time here as it was like a home away from home. Room was very spacious, clean, bathroom was perfect. The staff were so very friendly, efficient and always willing to help. My stay was absolutely perfect.if you are looking for a quiet location this is ideal for you, thank you so much for looking after me
Service in this hotel was quite superb. I loved the staff because of there warm smile and welcoming approach though really not good in English but they make the experience excellent. Reception Ked had a lot to offer for sightseeing tours and activities for the guest. She very accommodating and kind. I would like to give an appreciation to the staff in the restaurant though i forgot the names but they were so nice and kind and they gave a good service for the guest. The room was spacious with balcony. Though furniture and design was quite old but the bed was very comfortable. The toilet was clean and they had a hot and cold shower. The location of hotel was hussle-free and far away from busy street. Lots of trees and it has a nature look destination so its quite good for relaxation. Will be back hopefully.
well we stayed here for twelve nights. please note that this is only a three star complex, however the staff were 5 star all day long. Very friendly and soooo honest too. Just as an example we went out for the day and left the safe wide open with the key in it and a substantial amount of money ,documents ,ipads etc . Nothing was touched (not the only time we accidently done this I might add) left my 500 pound camera on a bus trip to the island hopping tour (recommended by the staff) and they got it back for me. we ended up leaving our stuff around the apartment as if we were at home. Now as for the complex, it was very peaceful, clean and very friendly. Restaurant may need some work as food was limited but very tasty. excellent free wifi anywhere on site The complex was not right in the town its at the south end on a hill approximately 20 min walk to the beach but only a five minute walk to the food market at Malin plaza. I would definitely recommend this place to couples that would like to have the peace and quiet but easy access to town. we virtually had the pool to ourselves and at times felt we were the only ones there. 10 out of 10 to all the staff the cleaners and the maintenance teams. Well done Club Bamboo boutique and spar resort for making us feel welcome.
One of the worst places I have stayed at. It looks like a personal house converted into a hotel. Rooms were stinking and front office staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. The only reason for giving two stars instead of one was the restaurant staff. They were extremely courteous.
We stayed here in April and May 2017,but a little tired, very friendly people in the hotel, lots of stairs if your a little older, lots to do,great trips if you want, very cheap to eat, would stay here again.
This was the second time I stayed at Club Bamboo, and I will definitely return next time I visit Phuket. I think the location is a real advantage, it is close enough to the beach and all the fun stuff so that you can walk to them or take a short Tuk Tuk ride (when I went out I would usually walk on the way there and take a Tuk Tuk on the way back) but secluded enough so that you can enjoy a relaxing stay. Also the area is really conventient, there are small stores like Seven-Eleven, Thai massage places, as well as small bars and restaurants such as Nana's Steak House and Fatboys which are really good, fun and cheaper than the places in downtown. You can also find local hole in the wall places as well as food stands for Thai Street food such as BBQ or noodles. The rooms look exactly as they do in the pictures and they have a well stocked and reasonably priced mini bar, air con, and TV with english channels, also I don't have any complaints about noice on day or night and my room was just across the bar next door. The pool is really nice and for my buck the best place to hang out on a hot Thai day. I didn't very much in the restaurant but what I had was always vey good, and the cocktails were nice. Not everything is perfect though I do have a couple of complaints. The first one is that honestly the bed is not really comfortable, now I have been living in Asia for many years so for me a hard bed is not a deal breaker but for other costumers this may be a big issue. The second thing is that this hotel used to have a beautiful waterfall in the swiming pool, this is not there anymore, I don't know if it is under repair or if it is gone forever instead we have a bunch of rubble that ruins an otherwise beautiful sigth. Now, normally this would not be a big issue with me, the problem is that there are some large rats hiding in the ruins of the waterfall and catching the occasional glimpse of them running around kind while you are relaxing on the pool is kind of offputting. Now, now, In my opinion the presence of the ratshas nothing to do hygene of the hotel which I always found to be satisfying, but well we are in the middle of the jungle and there is some rubble in the waterfall, so I guess they will find it comfortable and easy to access. Again, this is no big deal for me but some guests especially those with children may find this to be really bad. All in all if they took care of the waterfall area so it didn't attract rats and they managed to get more comfortable beds this hotel would be perfect. Finally I will end on another good note, the service. I only have the best things to say about all the staff in the hotel. They were so nice, friendly and helpful, everyone at front desk and the waiter at the pool restaurant were always smiling and attentive. One of the women at front desk even remebered me from a few years ago and they helped me organize transportation to the airport as well as tours within Phuket. They even helped out with an unrully guest (This hotel is guest friendly for those interested but they will help you out if they get out of hand) and that was great. In conclusion I was very happy at Bamboo Club I would stay there again and would not hesitate to recomend it .
I Checked in the Club Bamboo Boutique Resort and Spa on the 6th March 2017 with my wife, the Hotel is Nice and Quite away from Patong Beach, to go to the Patong Beach, the Hotel has a Shuttle which leaves every 2 hours, in the Day only, otherwise you have to go by Tuk Tuk, it should take about 10 Minutes. The Hotel Staff are Nice, except the Night Clerk was Extremely Rude ,when we reached the Hotel at around 11 PM, actully snapping at us. The Hotel has no Lift, so beware if you are elderly, it will be difficult to climb the stairs. The Hotel Staff assisted us with our Luggage to our Room, but when checking Out , nobody assisted to bring down our , so it is hard to bring down all the Luggage down the stairs, of course if you are young it is no problem. Otherwise it has a nice Restaurant and Pool, Nice Place if you want to relax in a Quiet Place
- location away from the busy of the main beach and main bar/restaurant strips was a good thing. However, the Snooker table/bar across the road blared load music every night (except 1) during our 2 week stay. - bathroom - shower was leaking through the bottom of the sink which wet a lot of the floor, also because the drain wasn't positioned well in the bathroom for the water to flow. Reception weren't particularly helpful to fix or prevent further leaks, we compromised to ask for extra towels to manage the leak and wet floor ourselves, but often left unchained by room service, which created more smells of damp and calls regular enough to reception to request replacement towels (which didn't always come quickly, or large enough towels to help with the leaks despite asking for large ones to begin with) - room service and reception were not interested in helping when we called about issues, and the more I rang to follow up, the less helpful they became. - the American Breakfast was not nice, the meat was cold and had no flavour, I didn’t even touch the sausage. The fruit didn’t seem fresh. Restaurant staff were not very smiley or welcoming. I had no interest in having lunch or dinner at the restaurant, outside eateries were cheaper and better service. - checkin was quick and amendities and services were not shown to us on the way to our room. The girls spoke quick and was more interested in checkin us in in a hurry than providing good service. I had no help with baggage to my room compared to other hotels with the same stars (and less) who did help - shuttle bus to main beach strip was inconvenient. EG, departing at 12 and returning 1245, so if we wanted to stay longer, we wouldn't have to wait for the next returning bus at 445pm or 745pm which we felt were also inconvenient times if we wanted to have dinner by the beach. - no Yoga fitness classes despite booking sites indicating such, and confirmed in the booking email. This was a big deciding factor in choosing this hotel, if this wasn't falsly listed as a service of the hotel my girlfriend and I wouldn't have chosen this hotel, we can do yga ourselves anywhere! - rooms not as nice as pictured on booking sites, and a little run down. Particularly bathrooms, with leaks and loose tiles around the bathroom and main area room. - bath also looked to be a spa bath, which my girlfriend got excited about after finding out yoga classes didn't exist. However, the jets did not work so again we were both disappointed. The water wasn't hot enough to have a nice relaxing bath/spa anyway. - bed sheets did not look clean and pillow cases had holes. They looked to be rotated every couple of days, if at all.
Pros - location away from the busy of the main beach and main bar/restaurant strips - pool small but pleasant Cons - bathroom - shower was leaking through the bottom of the sink which wet a lot of the floor, also because the drain wasn't positioned well in the bathroom for the water to flow. Reception weren't particularly helpful to fix or prevent further leaks, we compromised to ask for extra towels to manage the leak and wet floor ourselves, but often left unchained by room service, which created more smells of damp and calls regular enough to reception to request replacement towels (which didn't always come quickly, or large enough towels to help with the leaks despite asking for large ones to begin with) - the toilet chain broke twice so that the toilet wouldn't flush. - the continental breakfast set was nice, but my partner did not enjoy the American breakfast at all, particularly the meats. It was not pleasant so much so that we chose to not try anything on the menu for lunch or dinner. - checkin was quick and amendities and services were not shown to us on the way to our room. The girl who checked us in spoke so fast that we had to ask her to repeat a number of things. And she walked to our room so fast that we weren't even sure how to get back to the entrance of the hotel a few moments later to go out for lunch - shuttle bus to main beach strip was inconvenient. EG, departing at 12 and returning 1245, so if we wanted to stay longer, we wouldn't have to wait for the next returning bus at 445pm or 745pm which we felt were also inconvenient times if we wanted to have dinner by the beach. - no Yoga fitness classes despite Expedia (which I booked through) and other booking sites indicated such, and confirmed in my booking email. This was a big deciding factor in choosing this hotel, if this wasn't falsly listed as a service of the hotel we likely wouldn't have chosen Bamboo Club. My partner and I noted this services as listed on Expedia and my booking email and were largely disappointed to find out that no yoga classes were offered despite being advertised so. - rooms not as nice as pictured on booking sites, and a little run down. Particularly bathrooms, with leaks - bath also looked to be a spa bath, which I was excited about after finding out yoga classes didn't exist. However, the jets did not work so again was disappointed.
