The front desk staff were clearly not locals, as they were rude and arrogant throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was overpriced, overrated, and despite being guests for 10 days we only ate there once. No gluten free options (despite the staff nodding and smiling and assuring us the food was gluten free, it would help if they knew what gluten was.) Other family members had to change rooms part way through (despite booking and paying for a pool-access room, apparently this doesn’t mean that someone else won’t get your room if you check-in later than them). It’s loud, but I knew it was across from the Hard Rock Cafe, so kind of expected the noise. The “happy hour” drinks are amusingly farcical - not only do the bar staff have no idea how to make the cocktails on the menu, they are REALLY cheap when there’s no staff to serve you >50% of the time they’re on offer. Free advice - don’t even THINK about booking through a third-party service. We booked through and requested an extra bed (which they willingly took our money for), then failed to provide it. The rude-af staff basically said that they won’t provide any special requests unless they are booked directly with the hotel. We could, conveniently, pay for extra (in cash...) to have our request met though, which seemed a wee bit suspicious.... The internet is patchy at best - but the pool is clean, and the local staff are ridiculously friendly and welcoming. It’s a shame the management staff have more of an arrogant and finance-focuses sub-continental Asian attitude rather than the local Thai attitude - it IS Thailand after all, and the Thai people are way more amazing than Indian people.

After we stayed at royal, we didn’t expect that we will enjoy our 4days remaining vacation in Phuket. Room is very nice and tidy, service is fast. FOM always at the lobby, helping, and talking with us with so much Hospitality :) His personality is quiet entertaining. He’s always there everytime we want to take a photo at the lobby, I can say that he’s not only a nice manager, also nice photographer. Breakfast is very good, we always sit near at the pool, however F&B staff shoud know how to greet guest, never seen them greet even one gst. Also, thanks 2filipina Ms. Mia and sorry I forgot the name of her friend but they helped us to find a better room to stay and fo offered late co :) Also ci and co went well thanks to khun Oh (supervisor). Definitely we will come back again :)

The downside - We had booked a room with pool access, which was not available the first night, meaning we had to pack up and move again which was annoying. The internet access is sporadic and below expectations. The hotel is dated and needs refurbishment. Our bathroom tended to smell a little from the pipes at times. The staff's English was at times, limited. Breakfast is ok but mainly catered to Asian tastes. Upside - the hotel is clean and the beds comfy. Great pool. Reasonably priced and great location. Despite poor English staff try to be helpful. Rooms are quite spacious. Air conditioning was good. It's good value for the price but don't expect 5 star.

I booked this hotel to be close to the center in the first glims it look ok but when its get dark and you want to sleep just forget it , you feel like you are not iniside a room just like outside the room the noise is so high bar music mix up with the busy Street traffic i had a booking for 4nights could not take it anymore just stayed two days and left the hotel , the staff in the front desk was just worried about i could ask the some Money back so they prepare some letter saying that i will not try or complain about the remain Money for the unused two days well they did not care if i will comeback or not they also didnt care why i was leaving etc for me it was difficult ,i travel a lot it was the most noisy hotel i ever stayed in

The hotel staff at reception were rude & unhelpful. Breakfast was atrocious, possibly the worst I have ever had in all my travels. No bacon ....... very poor selection of foods available. Dishes not restocked as emptied. The room was clean & the cleaning ladies were amazing. Happy & extremely helpful. The two guys who played music every night were very entertaining. I would not recommend this hotel as a holiday destination to anyone.

Nice hotel close to everything Am here with wife and kid in a pool acces room Breakfast could be more Room is clean daily and always new titels U van walk to the beach and to the shopping center jungleceylon.

Hotel is situated in the lively area of Phuket. Rooms facing the pool side adds to the beauty of the hotel. Swimming pool of the hotel is awsome. Rooms are of good size and well maintained. A must stay place in Phuket.

After stipulating on booking we wanted a room with a balcony and a view of the pool, they put us in what could only be described as like a jail cell, room was disgusting with only a view of a brick wall trough a tiny window , we complained to staff and they eventualy changed our room , but at an extra cost to us .. not impresses. If you like associating with rude Russians then this is the place for you as they were in abundance, breakfast was Ok , pool and pool bar was good , staff were ok and pleasnt enough once they realised we wernt Russian and actually smiled and spoke to them . Wifi it terrable and can only get reception if your in Very close proximity of the front desk. Beds are hard as a rock .. it was ok but we wont be back

This was a nice enough hotel, especially for the price. I got a grand suite, which I wouldn't suggest, basically just has a wasted living room that I never used. The rooms were dated and needed upgrades, but you get what you pay for. My one complaint would be you had to put your key in the room slot for the lights and A/C to work. This made my room extremely hot when I got back for the day. And they still used keys, not key cards, so they only gave me one, and I couldn't just put an old hotel key card in to keep the A/C going. The staff was nice and had a nice pool. I will say the amount of sun the pool gets each day was limited because of the alignment. But all in all, for the price and location, very walk-able to eat, drink, and the beach, it's a good choice.

Rooms were a good size but the beds were extremely hard which isn't unusual in Thailand. The shower had good water pressure, The bathroom had a bath but the plug let the water out as fast as it was going in. The pool was beautiful and the swim up bar was a friendly place to sit for a few cheap cocktails, happy hour 4pm - 7pm 100 baht. Otop market and bars really close and Patong beach and Bangla road within 10 minute walk. The biggest disappointment was the buffet breakfast, not a lot of choice or variety from one day to the next.,
