My husband and I travel often and this was one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was awful. Wifi didn't work in the room only outside. The place desperately needs maintenance!! Pool bar and maid service was good, the rest...including front desk needs work.

This is a fantastic hotel. Great pool. Great restaurant. Great rooms. Fantastic staff and I could live here forever. I have stayed in over ten hotels in patong and this is the best ..better than more expensive hotels in the same resort. Not far from the beach. And enough entertainment on your doorstep.

I was here as part of a conference so I'm not sure of the class of room I had. The room was on the third floor. The hotel is styled like a resort and centred on a group of pools with swim-up bar, in pool jacuzzi nooks, childrens pool and massage pavillion on an island on the centre of the pool. The room corridoors were open air an the hotel is near the Hard Rock which could be clearly heard from outside our room but once the door was closed we could hear very little and with the aircon on we could hear nothing. The room was large. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean but there were small signs of age such as tiny stains on the bathroom grout. The separate shower was large enough for two and had the highest pressure of any shower I've used anywhere. Definitely a five star shower. The TV had channels in English Thai Russian French Italian German Chinese Arabic and Dutch. Picture quality was the usual Thai hotel snowy. There is a library in the reception area with books and magazines mostly in Finnish. The buffet breakfast is just OK. No bacon. On the last night we had a buffet dinner and that was much better. The staff were efficient but did not have the family feel you get in a smaller hotel. The decor is unremittingly brown. You'd better like brown. I'd happily stay again. I checked the hotel aggregator sites once I knew I would be staying and saw that tbe room rates were a bargain at this time of year.

If you book this hotel ask make sure you do not get a room on the main road (Just across the road from the Hard Rock Cafe) The noise was just too loud to sleep until about 11.30 pm. Breakfast was OK not as good as I remember it from previous stay a few years ago. Catering to more Asian tastes is probably the reason. Westerners will be put off. Need to get some bacon happening! Pool is nice and has swim up bar

After a nice stay last year this year was the mirror opposite. Booked a deluxe room but was told on arrival we hadn't even though it said so on our travel booking. No internet connection in room after paying for it and disgraceful showers. Lovely last year, crap this year. Heading back to phuket next year but not this hotel.

Great little spot. big pool, great friendly staff. Comfortable large rooms, close the beaches, bars and shopping. Breakfast or restaurant for dinner and great music during the evening, you can eat in or it's close enough to enjoy surrounding venues. Or just laze away the day at the pool or pool bar.

Well, the superior room they have is really old, like an attic that seriously needs to have a major maintenance with their AC and the furniture, and please if you place guests in that section please be mindful it is right in front of Hard rock cafe where in there is a live band and it is really loud. T We had an issue on the first night we arrive. THE AC is hot and not working, then the hotel interior is so old it feels like i am in 1980's. Then early morning they are removing the cieling panel infront of our room where in there is hammering and stuff going on. They offered us an upgrade with the discounted rate but either way it is still ridiculous. On the new section the rooms are nice but not WOW. Our mistake is we look at the pictures of the pool instead of the room that is why. The cleaning service staff are not into details, they don't replace the beach towel and floor towel as we requested. Service is too slow in this hotel. the Rude part is THE SAFE CRACKER STAFF IS RUDE to us. HE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FORM HIS JOB is he is not happy. WE report to the MANAGE WHO SAID SHE will get back to us but another useless staff that is why we will not wonder her staff is the same. Kudos to CJ front desk staff and to the Pool bartenders. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone because aside form that you have to pay for your wifi or if you want free you have to go to the lobby. Even hostels have free wifi and Baumanburi doesn't. They seriously needs to have training with their staff and serious upgrade is needed. S disappointed and will never recommend this hotel.

This hotel was recommended by a friend and I'm glad I stayed there! My room was big, nice, and in good repair. There is a very big and well maintained pool area with a swim up bar and even a massage area. Although I didn't use it, the restaurant looked very nice as well. However, the best part about the hotel was the kind and helpful staff. Most of whom seemed to speak at least a little English.

We booked 4 rooms. 1 room had not been made up from previous occupant. Another room was issued and late a night we came home to find a strong sewer smell and the aircon not working. We had no water 2 days in a row not being able to flush the toilet or use the shower. Reception staff rude in particular the reception manager who found our complaints amusing. Be careful when booking this hotel.

this hotel is really bad. they have tone of rude unruly Chinese guests. these people have no manners, loud as hell any time of day or night. spend a little more and go to a better place people for ur own sanity.
