We chose to stay at this resort while travelling to Hanoi with our family. We were so excited for this trip though we booked 1 one their president room. We were expecting a lot of stuffs for this vacation due to we paid so much money for this. First of all, the presidential house that we stayed, the house is ok, seems like they’ve not cleaned for awhile. The private pool has the great view to look over the mountain. But I don’t quite like the receptionist when I checked in. When we travelled all the way long and very tired, the checked-in process was too low, the receptionist kept talking to each other, doing multiple tasks (not for us) while they should focus on our check-in (I need to ask Ms Lan “hello sister, could you please just do my check-in process first before you doing something else?). Secondly, one the day our family arrived, the strange away booked their shuttle bus to go back to Hanoi for the following day, another receptionist told us “there is a seat still available for tomorrow at 4pm” which is great for us. She called the person who look after this service but unfortunately they didn’t pick up a phone. You know what she said to us “I give you this number please call Ms Thu to organise your shuttle booking”, I was like wth. And we ended up with “the shuttle bus for tomorrow fully booked” 🤬🤬🤬 for the rest of services, I don’t really impress with anything, even breakfast, the taste was bad.
We stayed 2 nights at villa, with 4 rooms &. Private swiming pool. Everything so good, clean, the bed very comfortable. Relax in the garden and chilled music, wine and BBQ. I had wonderful trip with family
A quick 2 day getaway from hanoi with my wife and 2 year old child. Beautiful place and wonderfully relaxing, bicycles available to go around and see all the attractions unfortunetly non are equipped to carry children so we ended up mostly walking around which was not an issue. Our cabin was great, and the small private pool was clean, warm and very comfortable. Over all an enjoyable trip til we went to catch the 4pm scheduled bus headed for Hanoi that had already left at 3:45 without contacting us. As we tried to have the reception organize us a taxi transfer our daughter was electrocuted by some exposed wires in the lobby. Would go back but would not rely on the bus transfers.
I was awe by the many activities available on-site. Although language can be a challenge but there are always staff who can speak better English to assist. Value for money and great stop for short family vacation. Food is ok and still have rooms for improvement.
We traveled with our husband company to Flamigo Dai Lai Resort. It is our first time to visit here. This resort is very huge, thats why every restaurant or any attraction place is very far from the place we was staying, even lobby. We traveled on very sunny & hot day. I expected it has many trees and this is very great atmostphere we can enjoy after tense working days, but it is lack of green factors, my opinion. The food is great & staff service is quite nice.
Flamingo Dai Lai is a very nice hotel with lots of things to do. We stayed in a 4 bedroom Lakeside villa. The architecture of this house is very unique, I felt like I was in an AD magazine. The rooms is filled with aromas which smelled very nice and I loved the pool. The breakfast was fine, I have no complaints about it. It was very rainy during our stay so we didn't really get to do much in the backyard. One big problem about one of the bedroom in the villa was there were mosquitoes. I had to wake up during my sleep to catch them. But other than that, everything was fine.
After searching for some options, I decided to choose Flamingo for my family holiday in Apr, and it was great trip for my family. The environment is perfect, green tree is everywhere , staff is friendly and can speak enough English , check in is a bit slow but it’s ok. We stayed in villa 2bedroom with private swimming pool, my parent and children really enjoy the atmosphere and food here. We definitely come back next year.
Flamingo resort is just about 45km away from Hanoi, a great place to take a break after busy workdays. Highly recommend to book a villa in weekdays to avoid the crowd. Friendly and attentive staffs, good services. Beautiful sightseeing, wide landscape, alot of pine trees and stuffs to enjoy, such as Korean Jjimbang sauna, kid's playgrounds, 3 huge public swimming pools. Should stay at a room in the new building Forest in the sky. Will come back again for sure!
Have been awesome to stay at Flamingo Dai Lai Resort! The lake, the museum, the Spa and the green building “Forest in the Sky” are unique! I’d never been in a resort like Flamingo. The Service and Restaurants cannot be better. Congrats!
I had a friends reunion trip here in Oct 2018. We booked a lakeside Villa with a private pool. I love the design of the Villa with open view and green trees surrounding, 2 big bedrooms upstairs with nice balconies. First floor is for living room, kitchen, hot stone sauna room.. We specially loved the backyard with pool, lake view, and the place for BBQ (however then price to have BBQ oven was a little bit expensive, should be cheaper). They have a nice kitchen but there was no necessary utilities (dishes, glasses, knife..) which disappointed us the most! 🤷🏻♀️ Breakfast at restaurant was a nice experience too! The foods were plentiful and delicious for both Western and Vietnamese styles! Nevertheless, they put quite a lot MSG into the soup which made us feel so sick after breakfast! 🤢🤢 One more thing they need to upgrade was the car-checkin-system every time going in and out of the resort area. It took long time and caused very uncomfortable experience! 🤷🏻♀️ I hope for my next visit everything would be better! 😀
