My friend come Phu Quoc for 2 day we booking for 2 night and we not happy. The reception cant speak English dont understand what my friends need. Clean room but high price, the brefast not much chose. We not recomend here

A friend of mine suggested to stay here. Very good location we can go to museum, market, park in walking distance and the staffs here makes us feel very warm welcome as well as good caring. Wish to stay longer..

The room was nice and clean. A great variety of fruits and options for breakfast. The massages next door- amazing and inexpensive. It felt like I was in Hawaii- very tropical .I would stay here again.

Overall a great stay. We were upgraded to a bungalow, which was a nice size. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and super clean. The pool was also well maintained, and overall the resort was beautiful. The beach itself was lovely and quiet since it's farther north. However, the beach area was a little dirty with old trash, and the breakfast, while expansive with many options, was disappointing. I would still recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a quieter area of the beach while still being walking distance to things like the night market.

I give this a 4 or 5 stars for staff, 4 stars for location, but the property itself is a bit dated and with all the new construction, so I'd give the rooms and property 3.5 stars. It will have to do a lot of work to hang on to a 4 star ranking once the new places are open. First of all the staff. They were very helpful with my stay. They were responsive to emails about the airport shuttle, they offered an upgrade to a bungalow and early check-in when I arrived at 9 a.m. or so, and they were always helpful. The location is excellent, on the north end of Long Beach. It's close enough to walk into town, close to the airport, and yet still can drive easily in 30 min to Bai Sao or other locations. The restaurant across the street is good as are several on the walk into town. Small store and motorbike rental across the street. Beach itself was clean during my visit, and it's nice and comfortable for swimming. Note that the western side of the island, where this hotel is, has better water conditions in the dry season. In the rainy season of May-November the currents and storms will make the waves bigger and the water more murky. There are some rocks at the north end of the property that allow for basic snorkeling, and there are dozens of reef fish to see, but no colors, nothing big, and not hundreds of fish or anything amazing to people who dive or snorkel a lot. Still for being a few meters from your bungalow, it's nice to get wet and see some fish and test the gopro settings. The rooms are large enough and everything in them was average but not great. Bed was a bit firm and restroom is a bit small, but it was no problem at all. The grounds though are a bit run down and older. They are doing some remodeling now on the bungalow facings, which look nicer. There are plenty of chairs and a decent pool. Restaurant breakfast was average, dinner buffet looked really sad compared to ideas I had when hearing of it, but I was there in low season so maybe when it's busy they have more to choose from. Wifi coverage is excellent, they even have a router at the beach so you can lounge and browse. I did not stream anything though, so I don't know speeds. I'm sure when this opened it was great, and it's still above average. It's just not shiny and fancy, and there is some lack of detail. For example they give you a small water spray handle and hose at the door to wash sand off your shoes, which is very handy. But it is held in a pvc pipe stand that is cut uneven and pulls out of the ground when you use it. One of the pathway lights (which were too few, imo, it is quite dark at night) was kept away from the tree by using an empty soda bottle that was cut in half. I liked it and would come here again though, and it was a great value for what it offers.

After spending the night at a hostel on the a beach that was both dirty and steep, Saigon Resort was a wonderful escape. The location was perfect and the staff were very nice and helpful. The resort has a lot of activities (pong pong, fooseball, pool, giant chess, kayak, etc) and their onsite spa is great - very clean and professional (we went every day!!). I would definitely come back. Also they have a pretty good breakfast buffet. Resort is walking distance from downtown as well as many shops and restaurants

This beach resort has a really good location in the center of Duong Dong town, from where you can easily manage to go to the North (Dai beach, Ganh Dau cape, Vinpearl, Phu Quoc National Park...) as well as the South (Phu Quoc Prison, Khem beach, Sao beach, An Thoi cape..). The resort staff and services are very nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The resort precinct and swimming pool is beautiful. Meals should be more diverse.

Despite initially getting a little thrown off with some of the mixed reviews, I must say we made the best decision to stay at this resort. The staff were excellent, the hotel was CLEAN and the rooms were excellent. The breakfast spread was top class and we really enjoyed the local cuisine section. My kids just LOVED the hotel beach section and it was clean and well monitored by a lifeguard. The hotel threw in a surprise birthday cake for my wife on her birthday - that was just the sweetest gesture on this trip! The massages on the beach were great and the room service was very prompt with our orders. The resort is 10 minutes away from the night market and a lot of interesting restaurants just outside the resort too. We're already planning our next visit and will 100% stay at this resort without a doubt. Thanks team Saigon Phu quoc!

As a frequent traveler, I really like this resort. It is very suitable for family option with great location and view. Beach is long, clean, quiet, service is good which i am a bit surprised with an old resort. Returned this place after 12 years, I strongly believed this is my good choice as a person working in hospitality. Breakfast is great with good choice and good taste, the room is a bit old but clean and bed is very comfortable. Beach is nice and good view in morning. Private transfer is very elegant service. Love it

We could not mention highly enough about this resort but totally it was brilliant. We were pick_up and taking care of very well during our stay. The place is very peaceful and calm and very romantic place in my life ecperirncs. We will go back!
