Picked this resort for our stay at countryside of Phu Quoc. Love their wooden decoration and earth tone, made the whole stay more relaxing with sense of nature. Our two night stay came with 15-minutes complementary message and we reserved an extra 60 minutes body massage (around VND$800k each with 30% promotional discount), massage quality was okay but just not worth paying for it. Only one restaurant in this resort at the moment. Complementary buffet breakfast was very good with extensive choice. Beach is highly recommended here! Very clean with little rubbish and pollution. Kayaking is free of charge, can give it a try. After checked out we found that the receptionist short-changed me, might need to take attention to it.

We spent 5 nights in this magnificent place. We have never seen a resort which is built closer to nature. The bungalows are beautifully nestled into the surrounding jungle garden. Choose a seaview bungalow if available. The beach is really nice, kept meticiously clean. Trees and umbrellas provide shade. The breakfast is outstanding as to variety and quality. A nicely decorated seaside bar is in the making and will be the place of choice for sunsets. Too bad we will miss the opening. A second seaside restaurant (and pool) was closed. I guess, that‘s the price you have to pay for low season rates. Donˋt expect a variety of fresh seafood on the menue. Your chances are probably better if you ask for it in advance. PR+MW

Stayed here for two nights.. an absolute paradise. We stayed in the end of the off-season so it was quite quiet. All the staff were very friendly and did their best to please. We ate in the restaurant for the two nights we were there and the food was reasonably priced for resort prices and was of a good quality. Main courses will set you back around (on average) 250,000VNDish depending on what you have and glass of wine 165,000VND and beer 90,000ish. My only suggestion would be to put some resort info in the rooms (such as restaurant info/menus and details of events/available facilities such as the yoga and beach BBQs etc). I would also suggest the ability to have irons/ironing boards in the rooms or provide the facility in a communal area). Finally the baths are lovely and HUGE but it seems there is not enough hot water in the roof tanks to meet the supply of filling it. There really isn't much around the hotel but they do offer a once daily shuttle service into the local town and local taxis are available via GRAB; although we didn't use either. Please ignore the reviewer below (ashamed to say a fellow Brit) who seemed to demand a shuttle bus to wherever they liked and thought they were held captive because they were "forced" to eat in the restaurant. A bit of prior research would have lead you to know this is a secluded resort for people wishing to escape life not roll out onto the road next door full of tourists and hundreds of restaurants.

I'm writing this post while still at the Green Bay hotel, after 2 days spent in this beautiful, picturesque holiday retreat. The hotel offers numerous spacious bungalows and villas, furnished with taste, very clean an well equipped. The personnel is friendly, helpful and professional. European resorts should learn from them. Do recommend. Oh, expect rather European prices but, trust me, it's worth every single Dong you spend here.

The resort was nice on the surface but for a 5 star resort and 5 star prices to match we didn't think staying was value for money. First let down... we didn't really appreciate the outdoor bathrooms, with 2 small children in the rainy season we had an enough wet wet wet. Hardly a 5 star approach. Second let down...the quality of the food was wasn't great, and unfortunately there just wasn't much around the area either being so far away from town, so we were held captive. We even saw a rat running across one of the restaurants one night which was awful and a real concern for us. Third let down... Our transfers were included with our room cost, for the price of the room transfers should be included, but since we were heading to a different resort and not the airport, we found out that transfers do not count to other hotels that don't happen to be in the direction of the airport, another huge let down. We couldn't believe that for the price of the room, that they couldn't include transfers when other resorts we looked do include transfers. There were some good things about the resort, but the negatives and non-existent service far outweighed any positives for us. The resort wouldn't even let us cut our time short and cancel early because of our concerns, and because of the rate charged, we couldn't afford not to stay for the time we booked. I wouldn't recommend taking the risk of staying here.

My stay at Green Bay was unfortunately very short, so good reason to return. Absolutely loved this eco friendly resort. Spacious rooms, clean, well maintained, I think the resort is only 2 years old. Breakfast was varied, lovely restaurant setting, friendly staff. You have direct beach access. Some people might find it too far away from the centre but for a relaxing holiday it has the perfect setting. Truly recommended.

We used to stay at the hotel for 13 nights in total at the resort and we really have to say that this was one of our best holidays we ever had. The personal is highly professional. Success is the sum of small efforts and these guys know how to deal with it

We spent 3 super-nice days in the Green Bay Resort at Phu Quoc! This is really an oasis in Phu Quoc Island. The staff makes you feel a nature and comfortable stay just between the jungle and in front of a calm beach. The bungalow we got really charming, the food at the restaurant was a good mix of vietnamise and westaern tasty plates with a huge breackfast buffet. I would like to highlight the warm contact with all the staff. Highly recommendable, to finnish a beach and relaxed days in the island after a long trip across Vietnam.

Myself and my girlfriend booked (and are currently staying at) the Green Bay Resort and Spa to end three weeks of hectic travelling in Vietnam. When we checked in, it was one of the rare occasions where the pictures online actually don’t do the reality justice. The whole resort is immaculately presented, but with a really rustic and natural feel to it. The private beach and two pools are both to die for. Our bungalow is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are super spacious, and came with two showers, an outdoor bath and an outdoor living area. The dining area for lunch and dinner is picturesque and the food is superb, with great choice between aside range of Asian dishes and Western food. All of the staff we’ve encountered have been great, being both friendly and attentive to our every need. We would absolutely recommend Green Bay Resort and Spa to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. Whilst it is a little out the way of the main town, we’d both say the town isn’t actually what you visit Phu Quoc for! You come to relax and for the beaches, jungle and scenery - which makes Green Bay the perfect place to stay :)

We had a lovely few days here at the end of a busy trip from the North to the South of Vietnam. The accomodation was amazing, we had a small bungalow with lovely bedroom, separate bathroom with shower and access to an outdoor shower too, there was a separate large bath which took a long time to fill! There was a lovely outdoor seating area. A lovely pool and private beach area were a few mnutes walk away. The staff were extremely attentive and knowledgable. The only downside was on the journey from the airport the amount of rubbish seen was huge, vast areas of rubbish was visible from the roadside. On our to trip to the main city Duong Dong we also saw lots of rubbish in the sea which was really sad to see. The local market at Duong Dong was an amazing visit, lots of local produce, fish, toads, chickens, ducks, jellyfish and lots of fruit and vegetables.
