False Promises/No Follow Through
While the property itself was mostly very nice, the management through Vacasa was terrible. The entry code and wifi password provided prior to check-in were both wrong, the pool heat, which is charged at a very high rate of 105/day, was not turned on, and the pool was very dirty, as was the hot tub. When these items were communicated to Vacasa, they did have the pool company come back out the next day to turn the heat on, but it took two more days for the pool to come to a comfortable temp. I was promised that they would refund me for the no-heat days, which they have not done. Later in the week a low water flow alarm went off, turning the heat off. The pool service was that day, so we only lost one more day of pool heat then, but after one more day the alarm went off again, and we were without pool heat the remainder of our stay. We reported the problem right away and were informed that the local manager had been informed and they would update me when they received additional information. Did not hear another word. I again complained once we returned home, and was again informed that my complaint had been passed on and I would be informed when more information was available, but have not heard a word. Paid for 11 days of pool heat, and only had 4 days of pool usage! Hot tub had a ring around it and the water was yellow. Display indicated that the hot tub was overdue for water change by 653 days! Very disappointed with Vacasa management and won't rent from them again!
