Great hotel. The room was very clean and modern. Extremely close to great shopping and fun.

Nice place. I have 2 issues. They will try to get you to purchase a time share there. At about 9 am the house cleaners start knocking on doors so you really aren't allowed to sleep in. I work nights so 9 is early to me but I understand how the rest of the world is on a different schedule than I am. But my biggest problem was how they put a hold on funds from my credit card. They placed 2 holds on 2 different days for 2 different amounts . When I questioned them about it nobody could give me an answer why they had done that. They all agreed it was wrong and that they would work on rectifying the problem but nobody could say why this happened. The funds are supposed to hit my account today so it has taken about a week to get my money back. The reason this is an issue is because I really don't check my account often and just happened to notice this issue. Had I not caught it they would have just charged me an extra $125 for absolutely nothing. So if you stay there check your statements. Not sure if it was an honest mistake or just business as usual there. Just once I wouldn't mind one of these places adding to my account rather than taking away from my account on accident.

Wonderful master bedroom with separate living area. Bathroom was accessible by master bedroom or by living area. Living area contains kitchenette. Have two toddlers and space was perfect to allow them to sleep while we were awake. Can access pools at Westin resort and spa or at villas, so great variety. Pools great for toddlers as well as all the kids. Separate area for adults and we both hotels. Kids club is only for kids for years old and older and fully diaper trained.

Needed a place to crash between Dr appointments. This villa exceeded our expectations. So much so...we will be back.

The hotel and room was nice, but it was a lttle expesive for the value. Check out was at 10:00 which was disapointing and no late check outs were allowed. There was still garbage in the rooms garbage can not from us when we arrived, and out towels and maid service never came to our room, so I feel a little mad about the price I paid.

Last Labor Day my husband and I stayed at this hotel and upon leaving decided to make it a yearly event. hey did not dissapoint as it was another great weekend. They are jam packed with entertainment for all of their guests. We stayed at the Villas this time and it was much quieter. This is the best hotel in the area by far! Your kids will love it.

while we paid full boat, we ended in the smaller of a 2 bedroom lockout unit. Thought there should have been a discount for this. Units and property were very good, including pools and golf courses. Restaurants a bit expensive for families, but several alternatives within 15 minutes of property. Given it was Easter week, tons of kids, but Westin had organized activities every day for them

Every single staff that helped me in any way expected a tip. I was charged for absolutely everything including the 5 LOCAL call that I made. And the last night we were there we found gigantic cockroaches crawling out from under our refrigerator, then when I told them about it they didnt even apologize and offer to clean it up. I got "Oh well, they are just trying to escape the heat". Not to mention all of the stupid propaganda about buying a time share... Phone messages and notes on the door, it was an hoursly thing. I will never go back there again. One thing that was nice was the Relaxation pool with no screaming kids.

This was the best trip ever. We had a wonderful time visiting Scottsdale and the Resort was the most beautiful and accommodating. I have traveled the world but I have never felt so wonderful. The amenities were the best. Already planning my return trip.

The hotel was beautiful, but the staff made the trip. They couldn't have been nicer. They were truly there for you. They had a shuttle service to their other property or they would take you anywhere in the area you needed to go. Then they gave you the shuttle drivers cell # to call him when and where you needed to be picked up to return to the property. WHAT SERVICE!!

Near everything in North Scottsdale---hiking,restaurants,shoppnig malls, and golf. WE made the trip to Grand Canyon,Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona--wonderful. Perfect pool area with adult and seperate kids pool. The nicest resort we have visited.Rooms are all suites and completely equipped. Staff could not have been nicer. The "Villas" give yiu access to a wonderfl hotel and amnities and golf course.

We stayed at the Kierland Villas before and enjoy them very much. It is a beautiful resort with great amenities. Poolside food service, nice waterfalls, and outdoor fires. Very quiet the week we were there. But upon check-in, we were directed to the concierage for some discounts, but she offered extra incentives if we did a tour on Westin ownership....90 minutes. But the incentives were good, so we took the bait. Really just a timeshare situation, that we were not interested in. Also the food from the poolside restaurant wasn't up tp to the typical standards of the Westin.

Spa treatment, relaxation, dining, shopping

We stayed @ Kierland Villas for a 4 night 5 day golf getaway. The accomodations were wonderful, shopping and dining were close-by. A 5 minute drive takes you to Kierland Commons, an outdoor shopping area; a variety of chain stores are located there. The dining was great, we had lunch at RA Sushi Bar, delicious, and dinner at The Greene House, excellent. We golfed at Kierland just one day, there are 3 nines. Well organized, very helpful and a golfer friendly course, that is not punishing. Golf carts had coolers, that if you wanted, cool air blew onto you via adjustable hoses, that was unique! We had lunch at the on site restaurant, great food, and Yolanda, our server, was efficient and very cheerful. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning.

Will definitely stay there again. The pools were great and they brought us ice water as we were soaking in the sun. The room was awesome! We didn't expect to have a separate bedroom, the balcony was my favorite part of the room.

This was our spring break trip and we wanted to go to a resort where we could relax and our 7 year old would have a great time as well. The Kierland accomplished that brilliantly. Our daughter loved the pools (the one at the villas and the other at the hotel). The hotel and villas had various kids activities throughout the day. She also enjoyed the kids club and made lots of friends. We got to enjoy the fitness center, tennis, and the spa. In spite of it being spring break with lots of families, the resort always seemed quiet and relaxing. We had a great time and will definitely go back!

Visited with family and accommodations were roomy and comfortable and private. Not many dining opportunities within the complex.

Well appointed villa. Very nice.

Very enjoyable stay with great service and superior facility. Perfect location within walking ditance to a lot of attractions. Only drawback was the repeated solicitation of the time share sales pitch session. We even received a 7:15 am phone call with a recorded message pushing the same. A firm "no" by us was needed to have the hotel finally back off, but another soft sell was pushed just before our departure coupled with a future discounted-stay offer. All this defintely detracted from the total experience.

I found this to be the best hotel I have stayed at on a vaction so far.. there was lots of room for our daughter to play.. close to all amenities... definatly will be back next year.
