Place needs new mattresses

The queen bed mattress was too soft. We fell toward the middle and my husband woke up with a backache every night. The mattresses in the second bedroom are too firm. The pool was not heated and that was not mentioned.No carpet, no rugs, no throw blankets to feel like it’s a cozy place.

Overall good / Heads up on Check in

Our stay was fine, good location. The check in process was brutal - there is a digital code pad on the front door, which the CODE we were given did not work. We could not get in. LIterally we questioned if we were in the right place. Calling VRBO/Vacasa they asked if we found a lock box? We went back.....the entry area was very dark as we checked in after 7 PM, arriving by air, and way down low on the ground attached to a metal railing was black lock box that neither one of us saw before. Once we used the code on this, we got the keys. We recommend the owners tell future folks "ignore the keypad on the door - look for the black lock box on the metal railing behind you on the ground." That would have made all the difference.
