The hotel is really outstanding - with really very devoted, absolutely great and professional staff. Mr. Sim, who is working at the reception, is doing a wonderful and excellent job, really customer service minded - always with a big smile and a friendly attitude. The rooms are spacious, very clean, the beds are really comfortable. Even with a late check-out that was given to us without extra payment, the cleaning staff "refreshed" our room with new towels and toiletries. Thumbs up for the house keeping and the cleaning staff. Mr. Mandeep Saruou and Mr. Sreypov Naron from the Italian Restaurant made our stay even more special, great food and super exellent service. The breakfast is also very good and has a big choice on everything. Would always come back to this hotel!
Went for Sunday brunch as a birthday treat for a friend and wasn't disappointed. This is a very high class establishment with faultless service. For a newbie it is a little daunting as the choice on offer is vast but Hem Savotey looked after us impeccably and introduced us to some fabulous cuisine we would never thought to encounter. A birthday cake was also a lovely touch - we did not book as a birthday party and the staff (Lotte I think) once they found out were even more helpful and cheery - if that was possible! Couldn't recommend high enough so go on and treat yourself 😃
Only few hotels are improving over time in such an amazing way. I'm a regular customer, and each time I think the hotel is better, probably now one of the best in the region. The service is excellent: professional, polite and efficient. The staff smiles, greats you, makes you feel really welcomed. The decoration is elegant...the "French chic" is everywhere. The Management team works very hard to make our stay unforgettable, looking after even very small details so the guest feels unique. The Sunday brunch is absolutely fantastic, unique in Phnom Penh. Thank you to Sofitel for offering such high standards of hospitality in Cambodia!!
The staff at the hotel made our trip a memorable one. They were very helpful especially the conceirge and driver. We at the Italian restaurant where food and service was excellent. Our one day trip to Seam Reap was well organised to our satisfaction. Kudos to the staff!!
I was there with my wife for high tea. Ms Kimlay was extremely helpful, hardworking and polite. Even though she was busy attending to all the 4 tables around us, she did not forget our requests. We are very pleased with her professionalism. Sofitel should be very proud to have her.
While in town for business, I stayed at the Sofitel for 19 days. From check-in to check-out, almost everything was beyond expectations. With the shopping mall next door to add to the selection of restaurants on site, meals were as varied as my appetite. Oum Srey Phal did an excellent job housekeeping, restocking water and coffee, and even being patient with me if I asked her to come back while I finished a piece of work. One downside is that after a couple of weeks, I had tried just about everything from the wide selection of breakfast items and wished for more variety. I'm sure it would not be an issue for shorter stays because everything was really good, and the entire dining staff made me feel at home every day. Having on-call tuktuk service is a really nice touch too. Work brings me to Phnom Penh a few times each year, and I have stayed in different places each time because nothing quite had it all. Not anymore! I'll be back at the Sofitel for its location, its amenities, its food, and mostly the wonderful staff.
Great surprise to be upgraded to club after a long flight. Room was amazing and the whole hotel very graceful but best of all was the service. Vatey made sure we settled in comfortably and Pheara made incredible cocktails in the club. We were only there 2 nights and Phnom Penh is crazy but the Sofitel was an oasis
We spent 2 nights in this fantastic Hotel as part of our Luxury escape to Cambodia. From the minute we arrived they couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is an oasis in the centre of a busy city. We upgraded to a balcony which was worthwhile. The Italian restaurant was very good but a bit pricey on Cambodian terms. We saw the sights by tuk tuk organised by the hotel. Our driver was great. You need American dollars and plenty of Small denominations. I couldn't find a single fault with our stay. Only problem was 2 nights were not enough. Thank you Vatey and all the team. We loved it.
I have just spent 2 nights at the Sofitel in Phnom Penh as part of a Luxury Escapes package and the only downside I can say about my families stay here is that it wasn't long enough! The hotel is beautiful. Very clean and well looked after. It is also in a great location being outside the main craziness of the centre of the city but only a short tuk tuk ride away. The room was also very clean with a huge king size bed, a nice lounge area, huge shower and bath, and a nice little balcony looking towards the pool. The staff at this hotel just complete the perfect package. We were greeted by Mr Sim. He made us feel like V.I.P's. Everytime he saw us he would make sure we were happy and asked if there's anything he could do for us. And it wasn't just him. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and just wanted to make sure we were having the best time possible. They treated my 4 year old son like a little prince, even bringing some cupcakes up to our room with a special note for him. The buffet breakfast was very nice with the Khmer food being the best for sure. We will definitely come back to this hotel in the future!
