A good hotel only a few minutes away from Aeon. You can walk a few miles to S21 too. The hotel has a bathtub and comes with a good breakfast. It was a bit dusty when we came but they improved a lot. Found it odd when we came at 11.30 pm and the hotel was gated but we figured out that it was near a club that probably has reckless drunk people but we encountered nothing. Staff is friendly and very, very helpful
It's an older Hotel , but the room is clean and comfortable. Its located on the main road to Aoen Mall and eazy access to a lot of restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Shower was good, A/C was efficient and wi-fi was strong.
We stayed here for 3 nights during our PP stay. We arrived to check-in at 7am, and although official check-in time wasn't until 2pm, the guy behind the desk was very lenient and let us book in early which was a great introduction into our visit. We also booked a twin room to save money, but the room wasn't available so we were upgraded to a double which was more good news. Breakfast is very basic, but we happened to go to Providores which was a new-cum modernised cafe on the other side of the road, albeit was a bit pricey. Location of The Royal Inn was ideal for most of the city's attractions, but tuk-tuks are readily on standby to offer their services. We had a problem resetting the room safe, but when we alerted a member of reception, they promptly dealt with the matter. Shower was good, A/C was efficient and wi-fi was strong. The staff most certainly do their job well, but for us it was a great stay seeing that we only booked the day before. Our experience led us to give it a 4 star rating, but the actual hotel is probably a 3 star...
Hotel was clean, shower with pressure and hot water option, AC was working good. Staff really friendly and carrying, they gave good advices. And just a few minutes walk from the most famous things in PP. The only thing I have to mention is the service at the breakfast place. Not motivated at all, no smiling faces. The food was ok though but just a very small amount of choices.
This is the second time I've stayed here and I am very pleased with the reasonable price, the very clean and good looking rooms, and the location. It is easy walking distance to Aeon, the royal palace, and the river front. Will definitely be back!
I booked for one night with twin bed but the room was not available so they upgrade us to stay in triple room , room is nice and big , my nawphew really like that room because he can running around , friendly staff and hopeful ! Breakfast too small not enough and no have babe Chair for a my boy , Location fabulous ,just walking 10min to the night life , I will beck to stay here again ! Highly recommend this hotel !!!! We booked online after finding our planned hotel had not saved our rooms. So we turned up only minutes after booking and the receptionist was efficient as well as most welcoming. We were quickly checked in and shown to our room at the front of the hotel. It was clean and the bed huge. Breakfast is provided in a little 'express' type cafe adjacent to the hotel, accessed through reception. The choice was very limited and the staff were unfortunetly quite unengaging and dour. We didn't get time to research the area but there were always tuk tuks and it didn't take long to get to the riverfront or the other attractions we visited. It was 10minutes walk from the new shopping Mall.
The guys that work on reception here are really nice & really helpful. They helped us organise our transport for our onward travel and assisted when we missed breakfast. The rooms are comfy & specious, they even have a wardrobe & safe which is a luxury when you have been away a while!
This place sucks. If it was $10 a night it would be acceptable, but for $17 is an absolute joke. No window, smelled of damp washing as soon as I walked in. Room was at least clean-ish, but there was grime in the corners and marks on the walls like you would expect you find in a place half the price. Asked to change rooms as mine was like an oven with no air, staff tried to be helpful but the manager refused to upgrade me or do anything at all to help unless I paid extra. so ended up paying $23 for a room that is ok but with a miserable view of a wall outside the window. For this price in Phnom Penh you can get a really decent room with a pool outside and great breakfast, so keep scrolling and find somewhere better!
Lovely and helpful staff who work very hard, even got us a bus to Sihanoukville within 12 hours of departure! Most companies were fully booked. Tuc tuc drivers outside are friendly and don't rip you off, offer you honest prices and wait for hours on end for your return. Rooms perfectly adequate, spacious, no mosquitos and clean. Bed also comfy. Location is good not far from main attractions!
