Recently had an overnight stay at this Appartments hotel. The room was large and had small kitchen. My room overlooked the hotel workshops so was a bit noisy until they stopped work. Great location for a morning/evening walk on the promenade and within walking distance of other tourist sights. Service from all staff was excellent. This hotel would be ideal for a longer stay.

I visited again Phnom Penh and stayed, as usual at Himawari. I would like to thank Mr. Heng for his flexibility during my stay. As I am on a budget visit, he was able to offer an upgrade, plus, plus and add a little only, to accommodate my husband and my sister-in-law. Thank you for the hospitality extended to us. We had a wonderful stay at Hamawari. My sister-in-law is a first-timer in Cambodia and experienced the warm welcome and hospitality of Himawari staff. She is always saying nice things about her experiences with the Hotel on our way back to Manila. I have experienced again the warm welcome, although I noticed that there are new staff/employee, but still the same courtesy and accommodation were provided to me and to my family. They responded to our requests/needs very promptly. We also enjoyed the food at breakfast, with the Oyster restaurant employees attended nicely and efficiently to our needs. I also visited the business center and attended very well by the staff. I hope to see them again in my next visit to Phnom Penh in December. Himawari staff, pls continue hospitality and courtesy to your guests, like us, we value very much this kind of treatment. Thank you! - Tet Ortega

My mum and myself had a wonderful stay at Himawari. All the staff are very polite and hospitable. We would definitely return to stay there again in future. Great service from the staff from welcoming us, checking in to checking out. The food is great, portion big and excellent quality too.

This has been one of Phnom Penh's best run hotels for many years. The only time I have experienced a slip in its high standards was when it had an Australian manager a couple of years ago. But don't worry, he has gone back to King's Cross now and normal, friendly service has been resumed. Not only are the staff here well-trained, they are also quite capable of taking matters into their own hands and using their own initiative to solve any problems. The facilities are second to none with a beautiful pool on the edge of the river and well-kept gardens. Though not cheap, food is excellent quality and is served promptly and efficiently. The pool attracts several of Phnom Penh's nicer expats and some prominent local business people during the week, who are a veritable mine of information about the cultural side of the city. There is a kids' pool and staff are child-friendly. It has its own micro-brewery and a comfortable terraced area overlooking the river.

My family and me would like to thank Ms. Sin Sothea (Front Desk Manager) very much for her great help in double upgrading our Standard Suite to a 2 bedroom Suite with views on the Mekong. This was an incredible gift and really highly appreciated and made our 5 night stay even more memorable. Again, thank you very much Ms. Sin Sothea for you help !!!

In the past year I've attended/helped organise two events for my son's preschool in the garden behind the Himawari Hotel and the hotel staff have been wonderful to work with. The hotel is very accommodating of our needs and the children and families have loved the outdoor open space right next to the river, the chance to run around on grass and the little playground in the corner. Parents appreciate that it is a safe and welcoming venue and there are always many compliments about how enjoyable the events there. There are very few venues around Phnom Penh big enough to accommodate our numbers and not only does the Himawari garden do so comfortably, but it's a professional and enjoyable experience every time. Thanks to everyone at the Himawari for making us feel so welcome.

Himawari Hotel Apartments is great place to relaxing and see nicely view of Mekong river. I am spend more than 2 years for gym and swim at there, Staffs and management they are friendly and given us good service specially Himawari also providing delicious food.

Our room was an a two bedroom apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. Large living area, two bathrooms, a kitchen and laundry. The hotel offered all the facilities you would need for an extended stay. There were restaurants, a pool and gym. The location was along the riverfront. Transport was readily available to get around. Staff were very professional. Only problem we had was our transfer did not arrive at the airport to pick us up. Also when we left we had a problem with the hotel organising our transfers to the airport. Overall, a great place to stay. You feel like you are staying in an apartment, rather than a hotel room. Wonderful for an extended stay and comfort.

Thank you to the Himawari F&B staff for executing a wonderful event for our family. The menu was excellent and Mr. Ngoun Dary and Ms. Kong Sreylak's staff's accommodating service was superb. When we experienced a little rain, they seamlessly moved the party from the outside courtyard to the inside the hotel's restaurant. I highly recommend the venue for special events.

Kudos to all staff and crew of Himawari Hotel Apartments! Very friendly and accomodating! I enjoyed sitting at their outside area enjoying the scenic beauty of mekong river while having their signature craft beer! Best in town👍🏻
