The Hotspring Beach Resort & Spa5.0 out of 5.0

On paper this resort looks truly beautiful, which it was about 20 years ago. Unfortunately I don’t think that they have done any maintenance since then! We have a grand Pool Villa and it was lovely for the price we paid but everything needs attention except for the gardens which are well manicured and looked after. As the resort is open to the public for day trippers to the hot spring pools, you therefore have coach loads of people arriving daily and taking all the pool sun beds and many of the children creating havoc. The beach restaurant has poor food and even poorer service, which in itself is unusual for Thailand. The staff seemed uninterested and not happy. Overall a major disappointment
This place has a great pool with 2 mineral hot springs and a cold pool. Great private beach with ocean view restaurant. Definitely recommend upgrading room to be near pool. Great relaxing spot to enjoy, pool also has swim up bar and restaurant.
Am writing to inform Mgt, tho' it's a 4/5 star rated hotel/resort with all befitting features/facilities, it'll need to look into guests management. Everything is fitting of its star rating, except when it comes to major guests handling, especially those from China tourists. Believe they do go around in large numbers + good for the biz. But hotel staffs must be trained to handle them when they get out of hand esp. on cleanliness and rude behaviour. Cleanliness relating to dirtying up restaurant when during buffet b/fast time(food + drinks dropping after over-filling)...rude being noisy + simply que jumping and simply take tissues from another table in front of another guests..The list can go on....
This has been a luxury resort before. But now, it’s not clean. The food was not good and it was too much mosquitos around the tables, and no spray or protection, so not so relaxing to sit and eat... The breakfast buffet in the morning was full with people that like to travel in groups, and don’t understand that you can put on a t-shirt here in Thailand on a restaurant. We are living in Phuket and was looking for a little getaway not so far away, but never again on this place. Only thing that can get a + was the cool pool and the hot pools, that was nice. Too expensive place, for this money every thing is going to be clean and nice...
We were there just a day pass, it was so good to enjoy the hot spring while you feel stress, tended, assorted. The resort offer two hot spring pool and one icy pool. You will very relax after in hot pool and cool down in icy pool. It's not far from phuket approx 30 kg from the airport and also close to natai beach where you can enjoy nice quiet place as well. Highly recommend for all ages group.
When we arrived, we got placed in the "honeymoon suite". The shower and toilet were outdoors which put me off. When I complained they placed us in the private pool villa. The pool villa is pretty nice. The pool is clean and great. However the shower is still outdoors so all sorts of exotic wildlife will visit once In a while. I've seen a little lizard and huge cockroaches in the shower. Pretty gross. Also the floor flooded a bit when it rained a lot. The bed is clean. The breakfast is pretty good considering. Carpet in the billiard room is peeling from age. Gym room smells seriously musky. A couple of times things went awry (misunderstood room service order) because staff don't speak much English. I understand this is Thailand but if you market yourself as a five star hotel then I think to expect basic English esp your own menu is not being unreasonable. Overall it was an up and down experience. May have good about a decade ago but it's becoming inconsistent, dated and neglected.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. It was recommended by friends who lived in Phuket, as I had 4 days left of my vacation and wanted to stay at a resort. I loved the hot springs and ice pool. The bridge out to the beach and the beach area is beautiful, and the sunsets were amazing. The hotel grounds are in good shape, the rooms are dated but clean, no complaints at all. The service...there is no service at this hotel. If you are sun tanning by the pool, no one will ever come and ask if you want anything. If you go to the bar or kitchen to ask for fruit or water, they do not want to bring it to you. The first evening I went for dinner in the dining room, the staff seen me come in...after waiting 20 minutes I had to go to the bar to get a menu. I almost had to go to the bar to place my order. In the afternoon I was going to have a drink at the swim up bar...I couldn't stay because two light fixtures were inhabited by tiny wasps, they did not want me sitting there. I showed the bartender about it, he just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. I would not stay here again.
We stopped here as part of a tour to visit the hot springs and cold water pool. What a pleasant surprise! This was a family trip and we all fell in love with this hotel and the gounds. Staff was friendly. Drinks were cold and fresh. There are many pools on this propery including a hot springs pool, a cold water pool, and swimming pools. The grounds, hotel, changing rooms and bathrooms were very clean. This hotel is off the beaten path of the touristy areas yet close enough to take local excursions anywhere in Krabi and Phuket. Conferences rooms and restaurant are on propery. Only 20 minutes from the airport. The property has a beautiful beach. Sure wish we had stayed here! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of more congested touristy areas.
I'm staying right now here. Very nice place for relax in hot springs. But don't you ever try to order some lunch or cocktails... The worst I ever try in my life... All staff looks at you like you always come here and never pay.... Don't waste your time, have many hot springs but better service and quality)
It's so amazing to get nature treatment after long running a marathon 42.195 Km at The HotSpring Beach Resort & Spa. This hotel is located along Phang Nga's Natai beach where is beautiful beach and peaceful for relaxation. The room is wide and comfortable with fully set up amenities. My room number is 113 with swimming pool view. I love both the Cool Water Pool and the Mineral HotSpring. Also, the taste of Thai Food from Inroom Dinning is delicious and I enjoy very much. I will be your returning guest for sure soon. Thank you Saowanee W.
