After 12 days travelling Thailand we needed just one more nights accommodation prior to our international flight back to Australia. When I found Aleenta online it was a steal for a private pool villa, reviews were great and pictures fantastic. On arrival we soon learnt that everything in house is grossly overpriced and this hotel is getting rich by positioning itself in an isolated location with no other options. They offer all inclusive packages which would be good, if they were more reasonably priced. The hotel transfer one way was 3,300 baht. Our dinner bill for a shared entree, mains each, shared dessert and drinks 4,400 baht. We actually walked just down the road and found a small shop offering snacks and alcoholic drinks for 10% of the mini bar asking price. Just outside the resort the taxi rank offered a transfer to the airport for 1/3 the hotel fee. We had come from some of the most amazing 5 star resorts in Thailand and paid half of the asking price for food and drinks in other hotels. This resorts facilities are all incredibly overpriced. The one up side I should mention is that I had previously asked the cost for late checkout due to our 10pm flight. Cost was half the room rate when I originally emailed the resort. On arrival the staff allowed us a 3pm check out with no fee quoted. Greatly appreciated!
If you don’t want to do anything but relax then the aleenta is perfect. Food is delicious. Rooms are incredible. Have a private pool as a minimum. It’s far away from anything though and Phuket taxis are expensive so you basically stay at hotel. The reception weren’t the most helpful. Book hotel activities before you get there as they get booked up a week in advance
Beautiful resort in front of beach. Great service and amazing food. Perfect place to bring kids as the resort is family friendly. We travelled with our 9 month old baby. They prepared a baby cot, high chair and even a bottle sterilizer. Play area and nanny service also available. We would definitely come back!
The customer service was fantastic. The night rate included breakfast which was also very good. Their thai restaurant was also great for dinner. The hotel is very beautiful and the room (deluxe pool villa) was spacious with all of the modern comforts you would expect. We particularly loved the small touches like the jenga set in the room and the insanely comfortable huge pillows. We stayed one night and we wished we had stayed there for two.
Aleenta Hotel One of the nicest hotel i’ve ever stayed at. Loved the private pool villas and comfortable beds. However, front desk could be friendlier and activities were all booked up so we didn’t get to do anything. They should’ve asked us or notified us to book in advance. when we checked in Saturday morning, the front desk lady didn’t seem very friendly and didn’t seem to like the copious question we had. We were a bit disappointed that every single activity for the next two days were booked up. this was crucial since there’s nothing to do because the area is so remote. Taxis are extremely overpriced in Phuket overall so basically you’re stuck in a hotel with no activities besides pool and beach. when we saw our room, we immediately felt better because it was our own private oasis. the bed was huge and comfortable. The view was our pool which was perfect for morning dips. the bathroom shower was amazing and so were the bath amenities. The bathtub was outdoors which we never got to use but they provided bath salts. Food at a remote resort is extremely important since we only got to eat here. There were two restaurant options : Western and Thai restaurant. They were both fantastic. I loved the coconut lychee smoothie and the green curry chicken (they have brown rice option!). the infinity pool with the day beds was one of my favorite places to hang out with a book. You can order drinks from the restaurant and they can bring it to you. there were some kids playing in the pool a few times but i guess that’s what you have your private pool for. overall, enjoyed my stay but wish they were better with their activities logistics.
The Hotel is located in a quite area far away from Phuket city and busy beaches. The staff had always a smile and was very friendly. Our sons loved playing at the beach and we spend most of our time there. Let’s come to the downside. We were staying in a 2br sea view residence. The quality and maintenance of the rooms is poor and didn’t meet our expectations and standard. The jacuzzi had a water leakage, a jalousie, ac control panel and toilet was damaged, cleaning of the rooms not done properly (dust under the bed and behind the furniture, pieces of the broom lying around after cleaning) and what was most concerning mold inside the AC. We asked for a new room and got moved to another room the same day which was supposed to be clean. But mold and dust was also inside the AC of the new room which gave us a very uncomfortable feeling throughout our stay. The mattress of the master bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable. If you are traveling with small children and using a baby stroller, be aware that there are stairs everywhere and you have to carry the babystroller to the restaurant and beach. Beach access was only possible through the terrace of the restaurant. The service in the restaurant was friendly but sometimes very slow in the morning and we had to wait several times more than 10minutes for a coffee or the coffee was cold already. The food was ok but the menu is not changing.
Staff very nice and helpful. Room is clean but some facilities out of maintenance, like the bathtub with bad smell when switch on the massage function, and the air conditioner leaks water on the floor. The food of the Thai restaurant cannot meet the standard of a hotel restaurant. Overall the hotel is great which thanks to the good service of the staff.
Everything perfect for our wedding on 4Mar2018 at Grand Villa Natai. Aleenta really gave me a memorable and dream wedding. Bow, who is the wedding planner assistant from resort and she made it her personal duty to ensure that we all had absolute perfection. (though we got many unexpected issues) I would like to say she deserves a massive pay rise. And of course with the whole wedding team of Aleenta, the quality and standard of overseas wedding had been pushed up to another level. Aleenta is an awesome wedding place that I will always suggest to others.
We loved the resort, staying in a 2bedroom pool villa overlooking the ocean. Very clean and spacious. The restaurant was great, and the beach was lovely and quiet. Lots of beach sofas available at all times and staff to take cocktail or food orders. Paddle boards and surfboards for use. The beach was wonderful and the water was so warm. There were activities like beach yoga available at sunset. The pool was lovely and warm, looking over the ocean. There isn't much around the resort, other than other overpriced resorts to eat at like baba baba beach club. So be prepared for an expensive holiday as cocktails will cost you around $20AUD with service/tax. Wine even more. Food was great however so very enjoyable. For a week getaway and knowing it will be pricey, it's a great spot. Lots of steps everywhere so not super accessible for all or those with prams.
A beautiful place to relax and chill. Super friendly staff and lovely beach. Although with our private pool being right on the beach, we didn't have the need to do a beach day. Food was just ok. We found great local food in the area.
