We stayed in a beachside bungalow - what a special treat! Leave the door open to listen to the ocean or lounge on your private patio or go to the huge infinity pool - there are many options for where you want to chill out. This hotel is right on the ocean. Service is excellent. Breakfast buffet includes both western and asian options - Enjoy it while overlooking the ocean. This is the first resort coming into town so it's a taxi ride to get into town for shopping and local restaurants but it's not far (but too far to walk). The most unique part of this hotel is clearly the outdoor shower in each room - we loved it! This is one of the original hotels in the area so it's not as new as some of the others if that matters to you.
It is really Best SPA in this area. We are living in other Hotel , but come to this SPA. Near of the Sea. You make the massage , and hear Sea. Perfect specialists. Super service. By Me resonable price for this quality. I Was Happy!
This is a beautiful facility staff is nice and friendly breakfast is unbelievable beach from Bungalo is just beautiful second time here I would stay again on my next visit to be at now I’m definitely hats off to the staff
.it is avery nice place with extraordinary staff !! i was there 3 times with a wonderful stay. mr. joe schmidt germany. i really like the two pools, the nice view on th ocean, nice bathroom with shower outisde and the service
We stayed at the end of a long treck around Vietnam. Staff especially helpful especially Victor (Guest Service Manager) and Berol (Food & Bev Manager). Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. They were attentive and friendly every day coming up to us and chatting. (both were French speaking perfect English). We asked loads of questions and put them to several tasks asking them to find out things for us such as private chauffeur and information on hiring motorbikes. They were both first class and delivered. Hotel was in itself amazing! free shoulder massage on arrival together with drinks. The location was out of this world. We had a cottage overlooking the infinity pool with perfect view of the beach. Breakfast was the best we'd ever had all over the world. Superb selection, wonderful choice - hard to beat! The chef was called: Huong (or similar) who was superb. He checked the food constantly for quality. The hotel is extremely well kept - "ALL" the staff were extremely good at what they did, the gardeners were constantly tidying up leaves, sweeping etc. and the domestic and waiting staff could not be faulted. We contemplated trying to find one thing to criticise, the only thing we could think of was the price of the bottles of wine. However, we were told by "Kam our private driver man" - who we totally recommend by the way +84.914757532 (Mailinh Taxis) that prices are set by government taxes. So no fault of the hotel. Superb all round - go and stay - enjoy the infinity pool in its amazing location. Gary & Lee
We booked a tour of Vietnam through a company in the UK and this resort was just part of the tour for the last six nights to have some chill out time. As we had no input in choosing it and our earlier hotels had only been so so, we did not know what to expect. The Victoria exceeded all our expectations. We had a deluxe bungalow which was just wonderful. It was the last in line up the hill, so the walk kept us fit, but it was so quiet and secluded. Yes, we could hear the traffic slightly when we came outside but could not hear it at all from the room or the terrace. Every little thing had been thought of in the room. There were plentiful towels, fresh fruit was replenished, and I just loved the little scrolls. Go and stay and find out what I am talking about! The bed was huge and comfortable and the air conditioning was extremely efficient which we desperately needed in the heat, as we come from the far cold wastes of the west of Scotland. Loved the outside shower and the hanging chair. The food was outstanding at both breakfast and dinner. We really had no need for much lunch. The drinks were good and I was pleasantly surprised at our very reasonable bill when we checked out. We spent most of our days at the infinity pool which was splendid, huge and deep. Excellent for swimming and cooling down. Sebastien, the manager, is extremely pleasant and professional. He is around but not at all intrusive. All the staff without exception are warm, welcoming and charming. Although I appreciate that making a profit is the reason for the existence of any hotel, at the Victoria it felt as though the comfort of the guests far outweighed any profit motive. It was a "generous" environment, as were the food portions! I envy very much the couple we met who are spending a month there. How I wish it was closer. I would return time and again.
When we checked in, the hotel staff welcomed us warmly with huge smiles on their face. But after that, whenever we went to front desk to ask them questions, they were always wearing long face and made us feel like whatever they did for us (answering our questions or hailing a cab for us) was a gift from heaven. The staff working at spa front desk doesn't speak much English which led to several misunderstandings. It's a hotel with great view and nice rooms. It'd be great if they can train their staff more and provide better services.
We stayed here for only one night, as we are regular visitors to mui ne, we really wanted to try out the hotel. We had heard very good things about this place! The bar & restaurant vibe is superb. Very chilled out & cool. The food is delightful & the service is excellent. Food & drinks are not expensive & the quality is just great. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow, which was very spacious & had everything that we required! We loved The outdoor shower. A very laid back place, which is exactly why we came here! All round superb, we highly recommend this hotel. We will be returning here in our next trip to Vietnam
ayed here for 2 nights and booked the Ocean View Villa. But i was kind of disappointed since the room was quiet far from the beach and near to the main road. So you rather listen to the traffic than to the sea… In the first morning they cam only after calling to make up room - however not all towels where changed. I ordered dinner to my room the second night - shortly after my dinner was served the room service knocked at my door for evening service. I kindly asked to come back when i finished my dinner - however they refused and come to my room. So i had to eat dinner while they where in my - not really nice and what i expect from hotel in this category. I lost my key next morning and the first comment from reception was that i have to pay for the key if i can not find it back - also not exactly the kind of support you expect in this kind of situation. I have been traveling extensively across Asia and never had to pay for a key card - During day time they forgot to refill the Minibar - and i had to call again. I did not feel like being treated as a valued guest over my stay. So my overall impression is that there are much nicer places to go around vietnam. The Hotel offers not a good value for money.
After a tour of Bangkok Cambodia and Vietnam we decided to have a 4 day add-on and we are so glad we did. After a 14 days on tour it was wonderful to relax at the resort, the staff were just the best, they wanted to do everything for you. from the staff around the pool restaurant and the bar you were looked after from the moment you sat down and they all had this wonderful smile. A great big thank you to everyone at the resort for a wonderful stay. One day we hope to come back. The French girl in the restaurant was so nice.
