Very relaxing and peaceful location, and an excellent place to unwind. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and always attentive. The food was very good, with different choices everyday for both western and local food. The two main swimming pools are excellent. The princess villa room was spacious, well furnished and very clean. The four poster bed was also very comfortable, although the mosquito nets around the bed were needed !

Very nice resort for a short break

This is a nice resort for someone who wants a short break. Even you have to take 4 hours train plus car from Saigon to go there. I think at the end it still worth it. The villa is very spacious and the little pool inside is nice. However this resort is a bit aged. I believe it must be spectacular when it first opened. The staff are very friendly but there are big rooms for improvement in their English level. This resort is located in the middle of no where, so it’s very quiet. But you also cannot go out to eat outside. Food in the restaurant is very pricy. It’s almost like double from a decent restaurant in Saigon. But the quality is not bad (but not excellent). After all, I would still highly recommend this resort for someone who either live in Saigon or you have been to Saigon many times and want a more relaxing weekend.

Very nice place but some issues.

Very good stay in this hotel. Very nice staf and service. Two issues however : the kids club is really a club (no schedules activity for kids - it’s just a room for kids) and the WiFi is really bad. The staf is very present and nice : just have to increase the English level a little. The restaurant food is very good. The problem is that there is only one restaurant in fact ... so at the end it’s a little bit boring because no other restaurants in the neighborhood. And at the end it’s a bit expensive. Otherwise the hotel is very nice : beautiful garden and nice beach (but dirty around the hotel). It’s a place where you just have to stay and have rest : nothing to do or to see around.

Great location

Beautiful setting, lovely hotel grounds with great pools. Disappointing Christmas dinner and service for whole stay very average, no attention to detail in restaurant, multiple times we were without drinks and had to flag down staff. An actual staffed kids club would be a great addition, currently only a very basic play room available.

It was amazing and really enjoyable. From the welcome to the leave, i was made to feel that i wanna come back here again. Nice and lovely staffs ever met. Overall, 5 stars from bottom of my heart. :)

Overall the service was outstanding. The resort was good, however in need of some maintenance, looking a tad aged with cracks and 1/2 the princess villas are not finished and 2/3 empress villas not finished.. it's a shame to have such a nice resort in a sad state.. although they try to hide it you can still see the ruins that should be finished rooms.. also common areas not finished like the whole top floor of the restaurant.. still worth the stay

The beach was poorly maintained. It was dirty and there was a lot of trash. The water that day was murky and we were unable to swim because of how uncomfortable we were with the . I could also tell that the slippers in the room were reused... that was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Dining room service was excellent.

A quiet luxury hotel

Thoroughly recommend. About 3.5 to 4 hours from HCMC(Saigon). Hotel organised pick up from our city hotel and back again to the airport cost around £42 each way per person. This hotel is just what is needed after the hustle and bustle of HCMC. Not really suitable for children as most people are relaxing and the ambiance is for a quiet, relaxation in luxurious surroundings. Hotel looks quite clinical on the photos however it is not so, the surroundings are laid out like a botanical garden interspersed with pools where we were often swimming on our own. Many of the rooms have their own pools so the communal pools of which there are four, are not used a lot of the time. Rooms are huge with lovely balconies and furniture with steps down to pool and garden areas. The food is excellent all a la carte and a good mixture of Asian and European and the restaurant is well managed. Eggs benedict for breakfast is wonderful. There is not much to do around the hotel but the spa is lovely and we borrowed a couple of bikes and cycled early in the morning to watch the fishing boats selling their wares.

The perfect relaxation retreat

Upon arrival to the local train station we were collected by an excellent driver in a nice people carrier and offered water and freshening towels. The villa was spacious and clean, with little gifts left each day. Everything was available that we needed including a beach bag, slippers,robes etc. Breakfast was a nice affair with a bread and cake basket to begin and usually a smoothie. The staff were all great and could speak basic English, however Richie who we assume was the service manager was absolutely excellent and checked in with us every time we crossed paths. She is a credit to the hotel. The pool was lovely and clean and even mosquito cream was provided. The food was delicious too but we were sad not to hav enough time to enjoy the spa. The only thing we didn't expect was children in the resort but this didn't impact on our trip in all honesty.

Great but...

The resort it self was modern and beautiful. The staff were polite and courteos. The negative for us was the restaurant which served really average food for a five star resort. The beach was nothing to write home about and the resort was 30km out of town.
