This hotel was excellent in every way from the facilities to the knowledge and friendliest of all the staff the hotel even gave us a complimentary 3 course meal gave us a free anniversary 3 course meal
Overall the hotel lives up to the five star. The hotels greatest access is the staff members working in restaurant and pool areas. They are really incredible with there hospitality and service. I don´t remember all their names but here are four of them. Thank to Trung, Tri, Nyoung and Tham. Without you and your co members Anantara wouldnt survive. Pool area is the nicest spot on the hotel. Sunbeds, size and shape of pool and the bar are amazing. Room at hotel have pleasant bed, big bathroom (love the shower) and good aircoundition. Restaurant at hotel is overall great but the menu could have some more choices. Best dish is of course the pho soup. We stayed here for 16 nights and we didnt do much during the day but relaxing, eating, drinking and swiming. Even though we didnt get tired of just hanging at the hotel and that must be a good rating. Anantara is a super hotel but of course small things can be even better. Here are some tip of things that can be improved. The gym could be bigger with more modern machine with tv and input and charge of phone. Wifi worked ok must of time but sometimes lost signal. Wifi could also be faster. The fantastic staff can get more active learning in english. We had some communication problems with front desk for an example. The breakfast was ok but could be more fresh. Some of the warm dishes were always cold like the pancakes. I also missed some things at breakfast that 5 star hotel use to have. Things i just mention is just small fix and as i say Anantara is a great hotel. This hotel is one of the best me and my wife ever stayed at and we will sure come back. Greetings from Micke and Ulrika "room 239"
We stayed here 3 times, every time because our favourite resort was fully booked. Whils Anantara is normally a good chain to go to, the Anantara Mui Ne is not recommended. 1. Service The service at check in is below average. The staff is partially uncoordinated and the check - in takes too long. When you maintain a big resort like that, the checkin needs to be covered by more staff. The service in general is far below average of a 5* Resort. When relaxing at the pool you do not want to hear them yelling to each other over the pool repeating what you just ordered. You don't want to hear them drilling; chatting loudly with each other totally forgetting that there are guests that might be interested in ordering something or even just wish to relax. They had a guest relations manager for a few years now. She seems to not be able to handle the staff. She leavs the impression that she understands that the abovementioend should be addressed but fails to do so. 2. Rooms The rooms are good, spacious and well maintained. The bathroom is big, the bed comfortable. 3. Pool and bach The pool is big with a direct view over the beach. The pool itself is well maintained, the pool - bar needs attention. The beach is wide and clean. NOTE: This resort is very popular with locals and local companies that do their teambuildings here. This results in loud and unpleasant music and announcements throughout the nights. On all three occasions that we stayed here, there were team events despite me asking the second and third time before the stay. The Resort apologises for the "inconvenience", but that is just not enough for 5* 4. Restaurant The restaurant - particularly for breakfast - is too full. The crowd is loud and recktless. The service is average but takes too long. Buffet Dinners are canceled on short notice without notification, bear that in mind. 5. Conclusion. For 5* not enough. Too loud, too little attention. They do not need to try their best - Mui Ne is always a destination for expats in Saigon an tourists in general.
Honeymooned here for a fortnight following a few days in Ho Chi Minh. Had a huge room with a wraparound terrace, his n hers bathrooms, window seat for reading etc. Bed was very comfortable, room was lovely overall. Resort was very pretty, pool and sunbeds excellent. We struggled getting sunbeds at the pool a few times and had to go on the beach instead; no great problem except prefer a pool! Found the pool bar closed really early, 6pm ish, which was a disappointment, but headed out of the hotel instead. Plenty of bars and restaurants around - highly recommned Ganesh (indian), Breezes (bar & local food), and Sandals (scallops). Lots of good wine choices to be had given the French history of the country. Definitely avoid 'noodle night' at the hotel - see separate restaurant review. Didn't try the spa - not my thing. Did do the local Jeep safari, this was a brilliant day out, and would highly recomemnd it.
Excellent and super friendly and helpful service. The staff offered me a nice tour of the resort upon arrival so I immediately got a good idea of where the pool, the beach and the restaurants were. The room was great, clean and had a nice view. Really recommend it!
This resort is beautiful! The grounds and staff are wonderful and accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights with our 4 children in a 2 bedroom villa with private pool. It was amazing. The breakfast buffet was bountiful with lots of variety. The only warning I have is that it is more expensive than other resorts. The food and services are 200% more than other places outside of the resort. But if you have the means, this is a wonderful place to relax.
We stayed here for three nights and it was difficult to leave!! A beautiful relaxing hotel with such lovely staff. Great location, amazing breakfast and the pool is heaven! Very easy place to spend an afternoon drinking cocktails.. Highly recommend.
I have stayed for 2 nights and spending all my time here. My trip was really amazing because of the resort. It is very beautiful and peace. Room is also very large, clean and cozy. I love the stunning swimming pool where I can spend a lot of times and having good food with nice service from the team especially from Nam. I really love the food here because it is so delicious especially the hot pot. My dinner was really satisfied because of the food and service from Tri, Tram, Huong who are really outstanding to provide the service. I do recommend this resort for those who is going to Mui Ne. Thanks very much for your service
Myself and my lovely wife stayed at a beautiful pool villa at Anantara and loved every second of it. We both fell into a deep depression the day we had to leave like we had lost an old friend. We had a 10 day stay and I honestly couldn't say enough good things about this place. Staff always went the extra mile and couldn't do enough to keep you smiling. The head maitre D was also one of the funniest people I've met in my life ensuring every time I stepped in to the restaurant I was literally on the floor in hysterics. Such a gift and he used it at will to have everyone around him in fits of laughter around the clock. Highly recommended.
If you go with family, I highly recommend that you should stay at Anantara's villas. Private swiming pool, outdoor dining room, outdoor bathroom, very nice bedroom... Paradise of the kids, and the adults too!
