I visited this Resort few days ago, on my personality i would like to tell you this Resort is a fabulous place for relaxing . Everything here is perfect at the room and the garden view, warm swimming pool. And my Favourite thing is Spa area, Spa's rooms are beautiful and Spa staffs are so nice and kind of me. I will come back this resort on my next holidays because this Resort is the best resort in Mui Ne

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights whilst on our tour of Vietnam. This is one of the worst hotels we have ever been in this category!!! And we travel a LOT!!! We arrived at 7:30 PM due to 4 1/2 hours ride from SGN airport (horrible for 180 km). The receptionist was surprised to see us and asked stupid what we want, even I said that I have a reservation. What the hell should we want with 4 suit cases in a hotel?!?!?! We booked a deluxe ocean view room. The view is ok but not satisfact. The room is spacious but facilities are old and used up. It’s very dark no much light or simply broken. In particular, the bathroom is dirty and disgusting (pics attached). No ventilation installed in bathroom. You will smell everything, just disgusting!!!! The curtains are very simple do not blackout so that we have been woken up by the sun at 5:30 AM. After complaining they changed the curtains within the day. How ever we couldn't sleep and were forced to woke up at 5:30 AM. This is definitely not acceptable and inexcusable. They do not even apologize and I believe I am not the only one who complains this. Unfortunately this is not the worst thing that we have to experience in this hotel. OMG!!!! At the 3rd night a gecko is in our room, or better to say we saw it at the 3rd night. Maybe this is his room. how scary is it!!!!!!! A man come over and checked up the living room superficially. We ask for mothballs to try to keep the gecko away from the bed. But they bring a killing spray!!!!! And said that will impossible to sleep after spraying. Ah, really ???!!!! It gets worse!!! My friend was ill and we asked the hotel to call a doctor. Some minutes later a hotel staff came over and said, " sir, I bring you the adapter". WHAT?!?!?! Anyhow, after several discussions a doctor finally came. In total we have to pay 70 USD in cash. But we don't have enough USD in cash. Therefore I asked the hotel if they maight pay the doctor in cash and billing me that amount on my room. They simply said "NO". I can't hardly belive it. Helpful staff, come one, it is ridiculose!!!! All in all, I really have the feeling that many of the very good reviews are fake. Be careful!!!

Room type was Ocean View Villa with private pool for 11 nights after a few days conference in Saigon. Very quiet and peaceful location. Staff, accommodation and food were great. Room was serviced daily, pod coffee machine included. Beautiful grounds and huge main pool. One night the resort had a group of young people in for a team building exercise resulting in excessive volume from loudspeakers on the beach for a couple of hours in the evening. Management were very apologetic as they had not expected such noise. However we simply escaped to the restaurant in the main building at the other end of the resort so there was really very little impact. We will absolutely visit again.

We stayed here for 1 week early April. Excellent time of year to visit as sunny, dry and around 30 degrees C. I’d contacted the hotel before arrival to arrange the transfer to/from Ho Chi Minh City which was quickly organised and was well priced - around £85 each way. Found emails were responded to promptly. The transfer is around 3 and a half hours on mainly single carriage way. On arrival at the hotel there was nobody waiting until a member of security came to help the taxi driver unload the van. After a minute or so a staff member arrived and pointed us in the right direction. So, not a great start, as is nice to be greeted after a long journey. Check in was quick and was greeted by friendly staff who provided tea and cake and cold towels. Check out was much better as was guided to our transport and waved off. We were shown to our pool villa which was lovely and also very clean. The outside area was great with plenty of garden and good sized pool. Plenty of shaded areas also. Had to ask for another sun bed as was only 3 and were 4 of us. TV had a variety of sport channels for English football and also 3 English movie channels. Air con was good and also fan above bed. WiFi is rubbish, so slow and often can’t even connect, we all had issues with WiFi. The villas are very nice but not very practical, not much storage space for clothes especially in the smaller twin bedroom. No full length mirror and poor lighting especially in the smaller room of the villa so for the ladies difficult to do makeup etc. The smaller bedroom also did not have an indoor toilet unlike our room and they also had no bath, so when everyone is paying the same, we got the better deal as in the bigger king bedroom had indoor toilet and outdoor bath. The complex is well kept and our room and outside area cleaned well everyday. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. We did not have dinner at the hotel as lots of choice within a few minutes walk or taxi for a lot less. Our favourite restaurant off site was El Latino. The main swimming pool which we used a couple of times for the bar was excellent, very big and quiet. Flow bar has happy hour between 5-6 and the lounge has happy hour from 6-8 and 10-12pm. Had to ask as this is not advertised at all. Had a few issues with noise as the neighbouring hotel appears to like to party but never found the music went on after 10pm thankfully. Also during our stay they had a large group team building on the beach during the day which was really loud and they stayed 2 nights also taking over the breakfast restaurant literally, but management were present and apologetic. That was the only day which we did not find completely relaxing and thankfully had our villa pool to chill out at as was really loud round the main pool area. This sort of hotel which is a beach resort and known for being accommodation to retreat to, to relax, should not be accepting large groups like this as does spoil the tranquility. All in all this is a lovely resort with great accommodation (all be it, a little unpractical for people staying for a while) and a fabulous main pool and beach and friendly staff. It’s in a great location near some lovely restaurants with some shops across the road. Would highly recommend but they need to turn down the large groups so it does not spoil it for the holiday makers who travel a long way to stay in peace and who pay a lot of money.

I have stayed many times at Anantara properties and have had confidence in the guest experience due to the consistency of the brand standards. In my opinion, Anantara properties instill a tranquil and luxurious feeling and emotions from the moment you arrive to the smallest of details including hand written notes on leaves at turn down service. Anantara Mui Ne achieved this goal during the reservation and check in process but went on to fail in an unrecoverable manner but let me start with the positive. The property itself is gorgeous, the facilities impressive and it offers a fantastic beach location. The spa is top notch with warm welcoming staff that transport you to paradise. Interestingly enough, we met the spa manager, Ms. Hieu, in the restaurant, not the spa, who exemplified warmth in service and salvaged a little bit of goodwill towards the property. She should be in a higher position at this property as she is a valuable asset and exemplifies quality customer service. We booked one of two stand alone beachfront villas with a private swimming pool and were initially impressed with the unit itself. The morning after check in was awesome with a good breakfast, a trip to the gym which was well equipped and then an afternoon booking at the spa which was perfect. Our plans included lunch at the swimming pool followed by an afternoon nap as our intent was to relax prior to a months long grueling business trip. For the first half of the day, it was near perfection. The problem began after we arrived to the swimming pool restaurant where we discovered a very large group of university students who had booked a team building weekend that included very large speakers with an announcer rallying the group in Vietnamese on the beach in front of the hotel. The speakers literally made the glasses on the tables rattle from the vibrations while this activity continued until 6 pm. It was also clear, by the huge pile of firewood on the beach, that this activity would be followed by a bonfire on the beach using the same speakers which were a little less obnoxious than during the daytime. The fire didn't last too long but after the formal event was finished, there were many university students hanging out on the beach until well after midnight. They were talking and having fun as one would expect but being in a beachfront unit, adjacent to the activities, it didn't allow for much rest completely defeating the point of our trip. I complained to the guest experience manager, Anna, who apologized profusely and I could tell sympathized with the situation but could do little more than apologize and offer to buy us dinner or spa treatments. While I appreciated her sincerity, there was nothing she could do to change the fact there were probably 100 university students overwhelming the property and restaurant that day and the next day for breakfast. They were not the typical Anantara guest who are looking for the same relaxing environment as we've come to expect along with the life experience to respect the other guests. What is clear is this property must not be owned by Anantara. First of all, I'm surprised a property of this caliber accepted this group but must have been desperate because of low occupancy. The cost saving measures were obvious such as not replacing water bottles at turn down which cost less than $0.15 in Vietnam, chopped foam pillows with no alternatives, using miniature Chinese toothpaste tubes, rather than Colgate trial size toothpaste in the dental kit or using large refillable bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion which didn't smell or feel up to standards. It even extended to the gym where they gave you paper cups to fill from large water bottles which is not ideal in a gym setting from a sanitary or functional standpoint. I do not know if this is a common practice at this property, but it ruined our limited time for relaxation and I know many other guests were not pleased. I would strongly suggest you ask about any group reservations if you plan to visit this resort. The small short comings could have been over looked if the atmosphere had not been destroyed. I can't imagine ever enduring a four hour car trip to visit here again.

We have not stayed at this resort but this resort is right in the main market and food is so delicious. We had seen people from our resorts were coming and having dinners here. It might be pricy as compare to food available in market area but it’s worth it. Will recommend to have food at least once here at least.

Amazing hotel to unwind after seeing Vietnam. We saved this for the end of our trip. Soak up the luxury and enjoy the peacefulness. Wander just outside of the hotel and you can have all the action you want in Mui Ne. Breakfast here was fantastic. The rooms were beyond incredible and the staff were super accommodating. Loved the poolside bar. Great cocktails.

I would like to thank the hotel and staff for a lovely 10 day stay at this beautiful hotel. We had a top floor room with a big balconies and looked out with a slight view of the sea and the beautiful grounds . Breakfast was lovely lots of choice fresh fruit and it was lovely to sit on the terrace in front of the lily pond. The swimming pool and view out the beach could not be better, I think they struggle at times with enough sun beds , but we where lucky , nice touch in the cool flannel , fruit drinks and bananas brought round by the staff. Plenty of places to eat on the Main Street outside the hotel, the area is catered for mainly Russians , lots of coats and hats for sale. Would be nice to see more local shops . Loved watching the Kite surfing on the beach the wind gets up by the afternoon but this makes the temperature feel so nice. The staff at the hotel are lovely and could not do enough and appologise when our safe broke, everything resolved so quickly . The only thing I struggled with was storage , a wardrobe and a couple of small draws , not much when you are staying for a while felt like we lived out of a suitcase. It's a 41/2 drive from the city so a long way and the roads are very scary, we spoke to people who caught a train. I would stay again at this hotel but would love to explore more of Vietnam.

Lovely hotel beautiful grounds we stayed in a fab pool villa. The service was faultless staff so friendly and accommodating especially a young man called thang(tan) nothing was a trouble to him . The beach was lovely and great for kite surfing or in our case watching definitely a place to enjoy

It was a lovely hotel with nice design. We enjoyed our stay very much. Because of some troubles at the breakfast tables we got free vouchers for me and my husband for the Spa. The Manager was very helpful and attentive. During our stay a quality Manager supervised the staff which was a good idea, as not all of the service staff was attentive. Although they were very friendly. Their english has to be improved, sometimes it was hard to communicate, but nevertheless it was a great stay. We stayed at the hotel itself, but the pool villas looked very nice too. The Pool Area was very nice with an own bar and an own access to the beach. It is a very windy area, temperature was around 28-31 degree which never felt too hot because of the wind. The Area outside the hotel is very ugly, so we stayed the whole week at the hotel. We would book it again, eventhough some little things have to be improved.
