My husband and I stayed here and we really liked the hotel and would return. Positives: 1) Location 2) Beach 3) Staff 4) Good value for money on hotel drinks 5) Cleanliness of rooms Negatives: 1) Poor WiFi 2) At busy times the water in the bathroom only gets to warm 3) If your room is in the main building sounds outside are pretty loud 4) Bathroom was a wet room, the drains did smell 5) Limited sun-beds around the pool
Beautiful hotel, room was really nice, comfortable and quite large. Great facilities ( nice pool area but quite small so you need to put towels on your sun loungers early in the morning), bar in the pool and in front of the ocean), 50m from kite center ( C2Sky center, although the hotel tried to send us to another kite club, 1km away, for whatever reason), staff very friendly and tried their best but can't really speak english ( except a few of them at more senior positions) which is a bit of an issue and would then impact the rating of the service. Some disappointing things for a 5 star hotel ( red wine brought in ice bucket) but it is the responsibility of the management to train its staff ( they should also get at least 30mn English lessons per day). Food was very good but bit pricey for Vietnam (a bottle of Perrier did cost 165,000 which is very exaggerated), kids menu not elaborate enough ( fish finger etc.. would be good if we could see some stuff in the adult menu but 1/2 portion). Extra bed for kid was not great mattress was so hard that our son decided to sleep in our bed so we decided to give back the extra bed ( the main bed was anyway big enough). Kids club is more for baby/toddler there is only a baby room and activities are a bit limited so our son ( 10 years old) decided not to go to the kids club ( which is why initially we picked up this hotel so we could kite). So overall a beautiful hotel and good service but some stuff to fix! couple of words on C2 Sky- great kite surfing school, staff very helpful, reasonably priced ( for rental they charge only when you go on the water and they were very fair with time) but spot not easy ( some waves). We took Muine explorer to go from/to Saigon and service was great, driver on time, comfortable car and great driver.
Out of this world experience: service, food, facilities... What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of 2017! The beach is marvelous and we get an additional spectacle with the kite surfing and the wonderful sand!
We didn’t stay at the Anantara during our stay in Mui Ne but we were there for breakfast, lunch at the pool side and dinner in the main restaurant. Great service and friendly staff. Price is relative high compare to other facilities but you pay for the total atmosphere and set up and perfect location on the beach. Food is above average but not unique. You can get authentic seafood and Vietnamese cuisine heading to Bo Ke along Mui Ne. But if you want a lovely and tranquil place to dine or just have a drink overlooking the beach, this is the place.
The property was relaxing and nice. It was as though you’ve been transported to a different world. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Family friendly environment with a play room. The playroom is dark but the aunty there who was so welcoming and nice makes up for it. She genuinely enjoyed playing with the kids and it made us feel very comfortable to have her kids there. The food was ok. Breakfast spread was good with hot noodle and egg station and fresh salads and juices.
Overall we had a good 2 nights with big family & small kids. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast with both western & asian food. The pool is clean with great view of the beach. We couldn’t enjoy much the beach since there were big waves on the days, but loved the pool. Just a minor negative point on the day we checked in. We had senior people (80+ years old), but the girl showed us the wrong way to our room. We ended up walking too long (double the distance) to get into the room. However, they managed to change the room for us, to be closer to the elevator.
Stay at Annantara was very enjoyable. Lovely relaxing atmosphere with great staff and excellent service and facilities. The location of the hotel is great but rooms close to the road can be a bit noisy. It is worth paying for an upgrade to be on the poolside of the hotel. We were originally going to get a taxi back to Ho Chi Minh city but changed our mind as we thought the journey too dangerous. We got the train instead, this is a much better option and cost a lot less money
Having spent over 2 weeks travelling we were extremely happy when we arrived at the Anantara for some relaxation. The room was lovely - the best we'd had during our holiday - very spacious, great layout and huge balcony. We were fortunate enough to have a corner room which meant we could be more flexible regarding the aspect. The pool area was perfect for chilling out, and there were always beds available either round the pool or on the beach. The beach had beautiful soft white sand and it was great just to sit and watch the many surfers enjoying the waves. The food in the hotel was excellent, but we also enjoyed walking up the road at night to choose a Vietnamese restaurant whilst browsing the shops. Everywhere was extremely good value. We enjoyed cocktails round the pool at lunchtime and made sure we didn't miss happy hour before dinner. The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly and we would definitely recommend staying here to others. 6 nights was not enough - we could have stayed longer.
We stayed in a pool villa which was wonderful and private. Lovely setting with a pool that was bigger than we expected. The room was lovely and decorated perfectly. The outdoor shower was wonderful. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and a credit to all the hardworking staff. All the staff without fail were friendly and helpful. We ate in the Flow bar and the Thung beach side restaurant and it was great to sit and eat with the slight breeze and sounds of the sea. Also ate in the main restaurant, this was good too although it's very quiet. Overall a wonderful holiday in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend.
After a fairly hectic tour of Vietnam we booked three nights R&R at this hotel and we are very pleased we did. From the moment we arrived until our departure we were looked after extremely well, in particular by Thuy at reception. She was extremely attentive and friendly, ensuring that we were happy with everything. The room, restaurants, pool and beach areas are lovely and well maintained. We were booked for bed and breakfast but ate all our meals there as the food was very good. I also enjoyed a very relaxing spa treatment. A special mention also to the breakfast kitchen staff who went the extra mile to accommodate our preferences, remembering from one day to another. We are happy to highly recommend this hotel.
