This hotel takes your passport as a hostage and not give it back to you until checking out even you strongly ask for it. What will happen if you have accident or medical need during your stay without your passport in your pocket. BuIIshlt rule. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

This was the most unappealing hotel we stayed at while in Vietnam. The good part: spacious rooms, nice pool area and beach. The bad part: Where to start? It was a mix of contrasts: the staff seems friendly enough but service was awful, especially when ordering food or a bottle of wine. We needed to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find our room from the main lobby, which faced a beautiful pool area and beach, but the opposite side looked out over a landfill of discarded building debris. Our room was large but substandard: my husband and I were each compelled to wash our hands after opening/closing the curtains, the paint was peeling, the carpet was sticky, and the shower leaked all over the floor. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, and the pillows were like rocks. The WiFi worked in our room upon arrival but never again, in spite of frequent promises by the front desk. The breakfast buffet was good but there were flies everywhere. The property is rundown and shabby, the décor is outdated and looks as if the ownership has been waiting for a buyer for a very long, long time.

The Pros The private beach The pool and the pool area is nice. Room size Reception team is mostly, not all are nice and supportive. The cons Old hotel, Old rooms, with a very old bed that you can fill the springs or what ever in the mattress, effecting the sleep quality. No sleep quality as far as i concern. Some of the staff are not nice and some does not knows basic English. While at the hotel, all bills from wherever were printed with a fade ink that you could not read the content. The hotel is quiet far from the city, Try to look for a better option Overall grade: 55

We had a good experience in here: Saigon Ninh Chu Hotel. Very large area, quite and peacful! The staff is professional, friendly. Buffet in the morning is very good. We stayed here for 1 night and Saigon Ninh Chu Hotel not make us disappointed! Thanks a lot!

The room is mediocre and requires cleaning. The carpet feels dirty and the bed is uncomfortable. We requested for king bed and we realised that it is actually 2 twin bed combined into one. The breakfast spread is average with little choices. It is a decent place if you are not a fussy traveler and on a relatively short trip.

The good part: nice pool and beach. The bad part: filthy rooms beyond belief. Dirty carpet, peeling paint, shower leaks all over floor. The bed was old and uncomfortable, mattress may have been from the last century. Very un pleasing and outdated decor. The lobby was full of smokers in spite of no smoking signs. Breakfast was passable with busy flies all over the place. The dinner was downright awful. Not a four star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The place needs an complete upgrading with attention to all departments. In the neantime: stay away!

The room was ok but could need a fresh paint job. They are now rebuilding. Hopefully better. Quiet room with good bed. English movie channel. Shower ok. Nice view on pool and sea from room 101. No activity in bars after 21.00 this is the low season and there is really nothing to do. For me: boring.

The hotel is in a nice location, next to the beach, with sea view from the room. Staff is friendly. Food, including breakfast, is Vietnamese. Western dishes are not available. There is a "fitness center", but the equipment is really old and most of it non-functional. The business model of the hotel is to organize events (weddings, corporative, gala dinners, etc.) almost every evening until 10pm/10:30pm. The music is very, very loud and speakers are shouting into the micro. It is impossible to stay in your own room during those events. This noise is insupportable and the reason for my low rating. I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel!

We got a corner room/suite, with a very nice view overlooking the beautiful bay, and the pool area. The room was spacious, clean, and with a proper bathroom. The beach is really nice, and the pool is alright as well. Except for the carpets in the hallways, and the restaurant, the interior of the hotel looked good. This was a pleasant surprise, as the outside area, when arriving at the hotel, looked really rundown and neglected. Staff was not particularly service minded. The restaurant clearly could do with some major cleaning, and the quality of the breakfast was below average. This is a hotel with a mix of good qualities and then some really bad negatives. Hard to give it top scores.

The hotel is situated on the beautiful Ninh Chu bay and is at the end of the strip. We booked an ocean view suite, the bathroom had been redone and the room was spacious. The carpet outside had seen better days as had the towels. The curtains were in a really better bad way and need to be changed. The coffee shop on the roof is closed and the only bar open was on the beach. The pool area is nice and the breakfasts were pitched at the local taste buds which is fine. The beach was clean thanks to a lady who cleaned it every day. It really is shame that the vietnamese dont seem to understand the environmental consequences of plastics in the ocean. Overall quite a good hotel but for the 100 dollar plus a night price tag it needs to lift its game.
