Super holiday

We had a great time. Patrick is the most friendly Frenchman we ever met and we had a great time at his house. The swimming pool and garden were a great place to spend the day. We hope to come back one day.

Beautiful dordogne

Our family of four shared this house with friends who were also a family of four. The children ages 10-12 had an excellent time in the beautiful pool. The house was well appointed but be prepared with mosquito repellant as they were unavoidable even in the house. Patrick was an excellent host - always ready to answer our questions and share his knowledge of the area including a great recommendation for dinner at Chez Julien nearby in the town of Paunat. Regular bakery runs to St. Alvere for baguette and croissants each morning is a must! Taking a boat ride along the Dordogne is also a wonderful treat! The week flew by and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Très belle et spacieuse demeure hors du temps avec tout le confort et même plus! Bien située dans un vaste domaine très calme et très bien entretenu avec l'agréable surprise de voir des biches au petit matin! Un super séjour dans le Périgord !

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances ensoleillées dans cette magnifique maison du Périgord. La maison est spacieuse, confortable et bien entretenue. Nous n’avons manqué de rien. Elle est idéale pour 2 couples avec enfants : chacun a ses espaces couchages et salle de bains (les uns au RDC et les autres à l’étage). La piscine est grande et bien équipée ! Nous faisions des visites dans cette belle région du Périgord le matin, et farniente autour de la piscine l’après-midi. Diner en terrasse tous les soirs ! Sans parler des tournois de ping pong. Le propriétaire nous a emmenés faire un tour de bateau sur la Dordogne, et les plus aguerris ont pu faire du ski nautique ! Le village est calme et bien situé pour faire le tour de la région, et nous nous sommes régalés des produits des marchés locaux. Merci à Patrick de son accueil et de ses bons conseils durant le séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison !

Un petit coin de paradis !

C'était un plaisir de passer ces quelques jours de vacances au Pey-Bas ! Nous sommes tous tombés sous le charme de cette grande demeure typiquement périgourdine où nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire (qui nous a même gracieusement emmenés faire une promenade en bateau sur la Dordogne !) Les plus petits ont adoré la piscine, tandis que les "grands" ont pu apprécier le calme du jardin et de la véranda. La maison est confortable et très bien équipée, nous n'avons eu à nous soucier de rien ! En résumé c'est l'endroit idéal pour passer de superbes vacances en famille pour ceux qui recherchent la sérénité et la nature.

Cerise sur le gâteau, le propriétaire nous a emmenés faire une promenade de deux heures en bateau sur la Dordogne (on aurait pu faire du ski-nautique ou du wake-board, cela nous a été proposé, mais on n’a pas été assez courageux… !) August 2015 Family Trip

2 weeks wasn't enough. As a family, we have been to the Dordogne region most summers for the past 10 years and our stay in Pezuls has without doubt been the best we have experienced. The house is wonderfully spacious and is perfect for family gatherings – which was the purpose of our stay. The local village, Tremolat, has much to offer and has a good choice of restaurants to choose from – we dined at 3 of them and we enjoyed each of them immensely. Though I would definitely recommend booking tables in advance in the summer season. Although the options to dine out are plentiful, we equally enjoyed cooking for ourselves at the house – the kitchen amenities are more than accommodating for this. From the other reviews, it goes without saying that the swimming pool is fantastic, it was pretty much in consistent use from sunrise to sunset during our stay. We as a family already have our diaries out for a stay again as soon as we can next year – we were all devastated when the holiday was over! Definitely 5 stars out of 5

Parfait ...

Si le Périgord est l'une des plus belle région de France, cette maison est l'endroit idéal pour y passer de parfaites vacances. La maison est spacieuse, confortable, décorée avec soins, fonctionnelle, et surtout magnifiquement belle. Entourée de son parc immense, non seulement on s'y sent comme chez soi dès les premiers instants, mais de plus elle offre un espace de vie et de liberté aux parents, mais surtout aux enfants, digne d'une vraie demeure de vacances familiales. Patrick, Dadou, et si vous avez la chance de la croiser, leur fille Marie, sont des gens charmants, attentionnés, à l'écoute de vos attentes et besoins, et feront tout pour que votre séjour soit des plus parfaits. Idéalement située dans la région, proche des sites à visiter, des commerces et autres besoins, et en même temps suffisamment isolée pour pouvoir se détendre et décompresser de la vie quotidienne, cette demeure est l'endroit parfait pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis.
