Went in the middle of February for a long skiing/ snowboarding weekend, place was great and the hosts were more than accommodating and I can only imagine how pretty it is in the summer but I can say for sure it was beautiful in the winter!

Beautiful large lake view home in a private setting! Plenty of room for eight adults and a golden retriever. Easy check-in and great communication with the host. Lots of games for all to enjoy – ping pong, pool, shuffle board, etc. Really enjoyed the patio with fire pit and plenty of space for all and equally enjoyed the spacious dock for lounging in the sun. The paddle boards were a nice addition! Can’t wait until our next visit!

Great week on the lake!

This was our third year renting this property, and as always, it was a wonderful stay. The property is first class, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a family vacation. Highlights are the fantastic deck, the sandbar, and the beautiful view of Walloon. Will be back again next year!

Beautiful property with beautiful views! It's a lovely, very private property but close to town.We stayed with six of our adult children and had a wonderful time. The house was extremely well-stocked, house was clean, and beds were comfortable. There were extra towels, blankets, and sheets. We rented the pontoon for a day and David was very helpful with instructions and usage of the boat. The lake wasn't overrun with boats either- a few boats and jet skis but even on Labor Day weekend it wasn't crowded. Overall great stay!

Family vacation

We loved everything about our stay! David was very responsive and easy to work with. The house is great and worked very well for three generations of family staying together. The kitchen is very well supplied, beds and linens are comfortable, beautiful lake location, really no complaints and we will be back next year!

Perfect Family Vacation!

This home was perfect for our family! It’s beautiful, incredibly roomy and has every amenity you could possibly need…starting with a great location and view! Spectacular views!

We rented this home and the neighboring property for a golf centric trip. Both homes are fantastic. The amenities are wonderful and the lake views from each home are spectacular. For what it’s worth, there are multiple golf options. We would definitely rent these properties again.

Walloon Family Vacation

Excellent stay on Walloon Lake! House had everything that we needed for our family (6 adults, 3 small children)! Clean! Loved the 2 refrigerators that were available due to the size of our group. Swimming area was very nice down at the dock. Perfect for the young kids! Appreciate the hoist for our boat rental! David was an excellent host. Very responsive to any questions we may have had. Appreciated his recommendation regarding a pontoon rental for our stay. Overall a great stay! Would definitely return!

Beautiful secluded location yet close to town

We are annual summer renters in northern Michigan and this home was perfect for the different ages groups we had. If you like trail running, mountain biking or strolling through the trees this is the perfect location. The dock worked wonderfully for our boat and the shallow water made a great spot for throwing toys off the end of the dock for the dogs and swimming for the kids. The host was welcoming and the house had everything we needed and more!!

Bedrooms upstairs a/c units need to be cleaned or replaced.Too hot. Needed to clean outside garbage up from outside trash bins,animals I would guess.However,it was stocked with everything,such as paper towels,toilet paper,garbage bags.That was nice.

Lovely property

The house and property was beautiful. We arrived late at night due to airline delays and it was dark and stormy. We had no idea of the beautiful views we had until the next morning. It was breathtaking. We had a little glitch with not knowing the code to get in the door when we arrived, but VRBO called the owner and solved it. I love this property and will definitely try to stay here again when we are in the area.

Family vacation

Our three families stayed here and had a great vacation. The communication from the property owner, David, was exceptional from the beginning. The house was spacious and abundantly stocked with everything we needed. We also rented the owners pontoon boat for the week. The dock was perfect for sunbathing and watching sunsets. The deck was spacious and fire table was awesome. We spent most evenings on the deck and playing card games on large kitchen table. With being in the woods, you have to be careful with opening door at dark not to let tons of bugs into house.
