Really good value hotel, efficient and pleasant staff, very spacious and clean rooms, good value valet parking. Great food and really nice bar areas. Free newspapers every day were a bonus! Conveniently in walking distance to everything in Fremantle.
We arrived early after a lengthy journey from the UK. As it was only 8am we were only hoping to leave our cases and return later to check on at 2pm; well whilst they couldn't accommodate us at 8am they were able to sort out a room for us at 10am! Check in was very quick and efficient and staff friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and suited our needs. The location could not have been better with everything in easy walking distance. We didn't book breakfast at the hotel as there were plenty of interesting options nearby. We would definitely return when visiting again and are really pleased that we chose The Esplanade for our first visit to Perth and Freemantle.
Hi there recently stayed here for the first time and it was great in the best spot for entertainment we had a deluxe room with a spa and it was newly refurbished very tidy room service is a bit expensive but other than that we had a great time
Had a great 3 day stay, staff were brilliant and friendly, room nice and clean, breakfast 2nd to none. Hotel is very close to all the action, Best short break ever. Thanks to all at the Ridges Fremantle..
Firstly our early 2.20am check-in was wonderful in many ways. My family (daughter and two grandchildren) were greeted by a very friendly and ultra helpful lady who made us feel very welcome. Our room was just enough for us and what a lovely surprise to see an extra fold-away bed set up for my grandson to sleep in. This was especially appreciated as we had not asked for extra bedding - so wonderful and thoughtful. Staff are so friendly, attentive, well mannered - the hotel is such a treasure in itself and the staff the cherry on top. Well done - and a big thank you! Location is perfect. So close to all the attractions that Fremantle has to offer. Great swim beaches in walking distance, parks, eateries, markets, museums, train stations, wharf area.
We stayed at the Esplanade Hotel for one night for our wedding anniversary. After checking in we went down by the pools. The hotel has two pools. One of them has big wicker beds, but was busy and all of the loungers were taken so we went to the other pool. Both pools are quite small, and when we went in, freezing! The room we stayed in was on the fourth floor, and was very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable, but the room was basic and clean. The shower was hot and powerful. In the morning we had the buffet breakfast, which was amazing, although you do have to pay extra if you want a barista coffee. All of the staff at the hotel were really friendly.
Nice hotel in a good location. Service is disappointing, every request seems like a hassle, needs improving in that respect. Rooms are ok and are comfortable enough for a short stay. I would not be keen to stay here too long though.
This hotel is really beautiful on the outside and is in a great location. The room was comfortable and decent sized... overall it was a nice stay. Customer service was great as well. Only complaints are the WiFi wasn’t the best and the price of the buffet breakfast. Over $30/pp for breakfast is pretty crazy to me but I guess it is what it is. We were here over NYE so having brekky there was most convenient, normally I wouldn’t have splurged that much for a breakfast. Also, no plugs anywhere near the beds which I thought was weird.. but not a problem! 🤷🏻♀️
Attending a wedding in Perth our family decided to stay at the Esplanade Hotel and it was simply awesome, the Atmosphere was great, the rooms are ample sized well appointed and very Clean, the staff are excellent, they are friendly, very helpful and made our stay a fantastic experience would highly recommend.
We booked the Esplanade Hotel for a quiet getaway. The hotel is alright but we felt that the customer service could have been better at reception. When we were checking out we were charged full price for drinks that we ordered from the bar which we were told were discounted as a part of rewards program. When we queried she told us that its only when you order the drinks with meals that you get the discount. Its only a few dollars but it should have been highlighted before. MEMBERS, if you are visiting just bear in mind that you have to order meals AND beverages to be eligible for the discount. Room service dinner doesnt count.
