Upon arriving at the “Wedding Anniversary Surprise” night from my Husband, Simon, from the get go ... Firstly, whilst waiting in the lobby for him to check in, a man came outta nowhere & starting asking me for our last names? There was no other communication entered in to us at all, no more communication, No vest, no introductory information on who he was & where he came from. after actually asking me repeat my name more than three times and the corrected Last name, our entire luggage (with Austen clearly written on the label) was taken to the wrong room & left there. It wasn't until we opened our doorb ten minutes later, we saw the same guy now retrieving our luggage from the adjacent room & then giving us our luggage. Again, the attention to detail was non existent. THE room we asked for was a room on any floor apart from the ground floor as we had a room with a balcony ( which cost a further $80 for the balcony ) & wanted to make full use of it to admire the lights etc. we were given the ground floor with a view of the car park & our enjoyment was watching / listening to every “drunk yobbo” from Ascot Raceday etc dragging themselves to your establishment (casino). We booked the room after a series back operation I had just undergone and wanted a night just to relax. What was written on the most expensive list of treats you could pay for or not eat it as it cost more to eat crisps there than any other hotel we have experienced. Nevertheless, we finally got to sleep ... then long story short ... express checkout ... then we went to use the elevators to go to the car park to our car. We kept going back to the lobby ... even though it clearly stated to the car park etc on the elevators keypad thingy. We asked the next staff member to let us down in the car park as it would be alit easier for me to travel this way rather than using the stairs again .... to which there are at least 20 steps. Not good for my already delicate back that I had just been operated on ... this staff member tried as he might with his you beaut swipe card to get us to the car park but to no avail. The next staff member that we saw that entered the lifts from floor 3!, and this being the third time in the lifts going up and down ... and we shed him to help us ... he proceeds to tell me that and i quote “oh yeah sorry luv, that was from the olden days ... this button/car park lift doesn’t exist anymore ... that’s old needs changing... “ that’s all that was offered to us and then he proceeded to get out at the lobby and didn’t look back. I clearly was distressed about going back down those treacherous steps to our vehicle. But, we had to do it to get to our car to leave ... well upon arriving at our car ... that we paid $20 extra to have underground parking securely. someone had tried to smash the sun roof with a bottle of some sort to gain entry. We could clearly see the finger prints all over the windscreen and all of he windows. No success thank goodness BUT no one bothered to tell us that there was a possible attempt break in etc ... I am appalled and devastated about this night away as it wasted our time and money because the factors i have explained above were that significant that we won’t go back there again. It’s a shame ... but that’s the way life is sometimes.
Stayed here for the Telethon Ball that was at Optus stadium. The room was amazing. The staff were brilliant. Would definitely stay here agian. Best part the casino was right there had a great girls night out
Very nice hotel with a large room with in room Jacuzzi bath. Excellent facilities on site. Access to the Crown bars and restaurants. Really nothing negative to say about the hotel apart from the obvious premium price that you pay.
Stayed here after going to a show at the casino theatre +. Check in was very efficient and clean even though there was a lot of people checking in at the time we only had to wait a few minutes. We had a Spar room which was nicely laid out but I'm not sure I liked the big window from the Bed room into the bathroom. Did valet parking found this to be expensive but would not have brought my car here and not done it as I have had a car damaged in the open free parking here before. All saying fairly good experience
Ridiculous- tv not loud, music not, Ohh but a couple of ladies talking and laughing whilst getting ready for our night out at 7pm and we get told we are making too much noise... OMG are you serious... insulate your rooms if you can't laugh with out getting told to keep it down its ridiculous !!
Hubby and I stayed for a romantic weekend. The hotel is quite nice, staff are friendly. Room decor - modern, bed - comfortable, bathroom - modern, clean. You do have to step into the bath to have a shower - safety note. The pool is nice, a bit small, and more staff checks needed to clear out used towels. Noise transfer from other rooms and the hall is quite bad, earplugs needed for light sleepers. Price point - it was not on sale, more than I feel it's worth. Breakfast option was worth the price. Food within the complex, be prepared to have a big budget, or walk into the Casino for their food options at a more affordable price point. GF options are a bit limited. Upon checkout, I accidentally left my brand new memory pillow behind. I called up 30 minutes later, told not an issue to pick it up later in week. Dropped by Wednesday late afternoon and it was nowhere. Called Thursday morning, was told by someone in Lost Property it was thrown out due to hygiene policy. I am fine with policies, but when you have not been informed at any time of this policy - I am pretty disappointed. Also, after sending an email to state my issues, no response! So feeling pretty let down by an otherwise ok weekend experience. We spent a lot of money in 1 weekend, and to find out my "not lost" brand new pillow was thrown out, leaves a bad taste in my mouth, Don't think I will be going back in a hurry - I would consider other inner-city options at a better price point.
Although clean n tidy, its very small, has no ventilation or extraction in the bathroom nor can you open a window. Very over priced. And the food in the whole crown complex is over priced crap. Definitely wouldnt waste my money staying there again.
I stayed here for an event. The room has beautiful decor and the bed is really comfortable. The service at the front desk is great. The restaurant downstairs has great breakfast and the staff were very friendly. There are also other varieties of restaurants and the casino is just a few metres away
Check in/out staff and concierge were brilliant. Room decor was beautiful but noise from passage quite loud especially if you want a sleep in. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom was brilliant. Pool area is lovely but small pool. Gym was adequate. Restaurant (Market & Co) food was fantastic and right next door to theatre.
Nicely appointed bedroom. Staff was very helpful and easy to reach. Food was fabulous with lots of yummy choices. Close to other places of interest in the heart of Perth. Option for interconnecting /family rooms - like Accor 50% off family 2nd bedroom- online would be an added bonus.
