Although we arrived early we were given our room immediately…Nice surprize! Our room was on the first floor as we had asked for a “walk in” shower. The room was large, clean, well maintained and with a full set of amenities. The kitchenette had everything plus there was a washing machine and dryer in the large bathroom. Rooms are large and well serviced. Décor is modern, smart and in good condition. Our room was directly over the bar/bistro which was noisy until late. The first floor is connected via a skywalk and arcade to the city precinct which was perfect for an early breakfast as their bistro does not open until 7:30am. You can also access the bus exchange via stairs.
Nice hotel. Good location. Near trains, buses and short stroll to CBD. Right on Convention Centre too. Two televisions, kitchenette, King bed was comfortable. Shower screen could’ve been bigger. Minor problem with the door locks. Wouldn’t stop me from recommending the place though.
Excellent location. Comfortable apartment and very couteous and friendly staff. Very good. Perfect , Hotel has a good lap pool and gymnasium too. Quality of bed linen good. Housekeeping staff very good too.
This hotel was located in a good spot in Perth as it was close to the downtown area, next to the bus station, close to Elizabeth key where you can catch ferries to the Perth across the Swan river and to catch the ferry to Rottnest island. Everything was close walking distance. There was a Woolworths Grocery store within a few blocks. We had a one bedroom suite with a balcony that looked out towards the convention center and was located over the bus station. The buses going back and forth was a bit annoying to sit out on the balcony but the noise did not bother us inside. There was a tv in the living room and in the bedroom and both worked relatively well. The suite came with a kitchen and included, plates, cutlery and cookware. In the bathroom was a washer and dryer and all the appliances seemed to work relatively well. You had to supply your own soap powder or pay 4.95 for two packets of soap powder in the room. This is the only apartment hotel I stayed in where they did not provide washing machine soap. The hotel is supposed to come with complimentary wifi and this is advertised in the elevators but in actual fact the service is very slow and measured less than 1 megabyte per second download and you have a limit of 100 megabytes usage per day. There is the option of upgrading to a higher speed unlimited internet for a price of 9.99 per day or 34.95 for a 7 day stay. We stayed at an Adina in Melbourne during this trip and the upgrade was well worth paying the upgrade price but at this Adina we upgraded the service and it only boosted the download rate to 7 megabytes per second download and about 1.2 megabytes per second for upload. This was only marginally better. The Adina in Melbourne had 20 megabytes per second download and 10 megabytes per second upload which was a good upgrade. I was disappointed with this location. The room was serviced daily but one day there was a sheet missing on the bed so there was a top sheet for the comforter but no bottom sheet and we were forced to sleep under the bare batting of the comforter which was a bit scratchy and uncomfortable. Also we had to ask for tea and coffee to be replenished and on another day the only left us with a quarter of a roll of toilet paper with no additional rolls. We had to ask for more toilet paper. When we got to the hotel, I thought the room seemed fairly clean, at least the carpets were vacuumed but I accidentally dropped something on the kitchen floor and had to wipe it up and my dishcloth literally was black and the spot showed up as wiped, so the floor in the kitchen was not very clean. The bathroom had a dark floor with dirty grout that appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time. All in all the stay was ok here but it did not seem to be as nice as the Adina I stayed in while in Melbourne. The front desk clerks seemed to be helpful whenever I asked for their help. I think this hotel is a good location and to stay in and if you can overlook the shortcomings, it was a worthwhile location to stay in.
Adina Apartment Hotel Perth was a great place to stay. Within walking distance of all downtown activities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great staff and facilities - fitness center was a little lacking.
Great location, close to the city without being in the middle of the noise and the lights of the city. Clean, easy to get back into the city, good price also. Love the kitchen so I could suit myself with self catering.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Extremely comfortable beds and linen. Cleaned to a very high standard. The service from both the reception bar staff was exceptional. Food at the restaurant downstairs was great. Ticks all the boxes for a work visit, And next time will bring my family..
We stayed for just one night after our flight to Perth. The accommodation is well located right next to the convention centre. We strolled into Northbridge for dinner and our walk back was easy and quick. Would certainly recommend for a short stay.
Good stay, great location, room was fine, good large bathroom, friendly staff, fairly good value (but was a long weekend when I stayed). Would stay again given convienant location to the city and kings park areas
This was an email I sent directly to Hotel Adina Perth on Monday 12/03/2018. No response yet. Just this weekend on Saturday the 10th of March 2018, my partner and I stayed in room 73 / Level 3 Upon arriving on level 3 we noticed there was an unpleasant damp smell which only grew stronger as we walked closer to our room. We noticed there was some works on the wall in the hall right outside our room which may or may not have been the problem but the smell seemed to be the strongest coming from this area. When we entered the room the smell wasn't quite as bad but still noticeable so we opened up the balcony window to help air it out (not the best solution considering it was quite warm outside) We went out to dinner and arrived back to our room around 7pm and still found the odour was still just as pungent as before. We went to reception to let the lady behind the desk know about the issue. We were told she would send someone up to have a look and spray the area. We then went out for a walk and arrived back around 8:30 to still find the smell just the same. It was still noticeable inside the room also. I hadn't heard anything from staff to see if we were still experiencing the issue. Now I myself am not a confrontational person so I didn't feel like bringing the issue up again with staff as I just wanted to go to bed. I have stayed at the Adina before and really quite enjoyed my time there. I am really quite disappointed how our stay turned out due to this issue. Any response / feedback from you would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Todd Stokes
