Tired and over priced

In comparison to other similar properties on the lake we found this to be on a lower standard and higher price. In particular the following issues - - bed poor condition (same issue in May 2023 with another review) - walls badly marked - Bathroom door dirt - tumble dryer not emptied of water from previous occupants - dishwasher had food inside - terrace not swept - outside cushions filthy - external corridor huge damp patch on internal wall - lift was flooded during a storm and could therefore not be used - I had arranged for cleaners mid week through the agency. This was confirmed, but they did not show. Overall experience from Design Studio was either no response or excuses to why these issues were there. The view is amazing! Could be a lovely property with a bit of love and investment injected into it.

Beyond beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay. The view was even more beautiful than the pictures. Perfect location as Varenna has the ferry to other locations. If you stay here I recommend you have a car as the drive into Varenna is 10-15 minutes.
