After a very long drive we arrived at 7.40pm. We had to wait outside the main gate of the compound to drive in, then wait again outside their office building, and also at the reception. Staff were not quite courteous.

Checking in frustrating because no phone number given on hotels.com and no bell at the door. Listing needs to say to use reception at le Castel du Val next door. Otherwise excellent, large studio room.with view, well equipped with microwave and coffe maker, large very comfortable bed and well soundproofed. Good restaurant nearby hostellerie du Petit Bonneval open lunchtimes only, closed Wednesdays. Close to.motorway but noise does not teach the hotel

We stayed in a studio apartment for an overnight stop. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped and includes a kettle. The shower room was excellent. We had the most comfortable overnight stop ever with a continental breakfast in the morning. The only minor fault was that the Wi-fi in the room is slow/weak. However a good connection was available in the reception area.
