Upon entering our home, you’ll find the 1st guest bathroom to your left, laundry room, an additional refrigerator/freezer and garage entrance to your right, and guest bedroom number 1 offering a queen bed to your right. our fantastic chef-inspired kitchen features a large center island with a marble countertop and 2 counter height barstools to your left. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, silverware, glassware, potholders, our favorite cooking oils, an air fryer, a toaster, a crockpot, a blender, a Keurig with assorted K cups, paper towels, kitchen washcloths, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. (we do have an outdoor 3 burner propane grill with grilling utensils) Walking through the kitchen you’ll find the west wall of the home is all windows boasting an incredible view of Paul Lake, offering unbeatable sunsets across the lake. In this space, we have a high-top dining table that seats 8 guests, along with a propane fireplace, comfortable living room seating for lounging, and wonderful lake views. Just beyond the lounge space is a comfortable sunroom on the main level featuring a large sectional offering a lovely place to watch TV on a 55-inch smart TV. This room does have a glass patio door with lake views. It also has a sliding barn door to close it off for privacy.
Upstairs you will find 2 identical master suites; both have king beds and ensuites including tiled walk-in showers. Next, you will find our furnished loft welcoming you with a comfortable sectional couch and rocking chair boasting incredible views of the lake. Just off the loft are guest bedrooms 4 and 5; one with 2 full-size beds and a small tv, the other with a bunk bed with 2 full-size mattresses, and two twins.
All of our bathrooms are stocked with, toilet paper, washcloths, body towels, hand towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and an assortment of other supplies we appreciate when traveling.
All bedrooms are complete with bedding and at least 2 pillows per guest.
Additional items included in this stay: Paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, dryer sheets, laundry detergent, and a Bluetooth speaker.
Our home is available year-round and is tastefully decorated for each season. We are surrounded by snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and cross-country ski trails, and ice skating rinks. Just 18 miles away is Detroit Mountain, a ski lodge that offers wintertime family fun for everyone!

OUTSIDE:
Amble lakeside space allows room to have a bonfire on the perfect level sand by the water's edge or have dinner on the terrace overlooking the water. Our lakeside area is complete with over 200 feet of patio string lighting which creates a comfortable fun vibe to relax and enjoy. Great swimming, ideal sand bottom, and great fishing right off the dock! Paul Lake is known to be one of the clearest lakes around & provides great swimming, fishing, and recreation. Conveniently located only 10 minutes from Perham and right off the new bike path between Perham & Pelican Rapids. Lake toys and watercraft are available for rent through Sota Lake Properties

The great kitchen was fully stocked, with two refrigerators, two crock pots, both a traditional coffee pot and a Kurig! Nice double oven. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows and towels. They had a beautiful Christmas tree and other decorations for our celebration!! We had plenty of room for our family of 14. Unfortunately we could not get the fireplace to work and lights flickered. However we would stay there again! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

We had an overall nice stay. We were a little disappointed that the fireplace didn't work and the hot tub wasn't clean. We messaged the manager and he informed us that there was a part being ordered for the fireplace. He also offered to come and clean the hot tub. We opted not to use the hot tub. The location is great. We were able to walk right in to the lake and get on our paddle boards. The lake is beautiful. Sitting down by the lake was very relaxing. There was a concern with the shape of the cement steps going down. But the steel railing was very helpful.Of the four bedrooms upstairs, two of them had their own bathrooms. Occupancy of the other two bedrooms either had to go into one of those bedrooms or downstairs to the bathroom down there...just an FYI.

We love it here at Perham and had a great time. I had to just give 4 stars though because my husband did not feel safe in any of the showers as there was nothing to hang on to. He has back problems and is a fall risk. Also we had to use the downstairs bedroom and the bed is very high with no headboard for support. This is our second year here but may have to look elsewhere next year. I feel bad because we love the lake and the bike path and the turtle races! If you decide to make the house more handicapped accessible please let us know!

Needs some love

Fishing was great! Unfortunately the weather was not. This may have been a luxery stay years ago but it has not been kept up. Furniture worn out and not comfortable, 3 of the 5 bedroom beds were horrible and all bedrooms were so hot it was hard to sleep, light bulbs in ceiling fan burned out so hard to see in the evening. Kitchen was nice but filthy. Ceiling above stove is brown with filth and when the sun shines in on the cupboards you could see they had not been cleaned in a long time. Outside furniture either mildew or too rickety to sit in.Cement wall is caving in which makes the stairs slanted and difficult to walk down without the using the railing. Upper patio railing so loose I was scared to have anyone near it. I have rented properties 6 times in the last 10 years and this is at the bottom of the list.

UND GRADUATE CELEBRATION

There were 6 of us to celebrate my daughter getting her Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics from UND! The weather was rainy and cold during our stay. The lake ice bath was perfect and the hot tub and indoor facilities were Awesome!! Just what we needed to rest and revive after the Grad Ceremonies! Love the open space and it felt like home to us. Ladies getaway/reunion

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Plenty of bedrooms (and bathrooms) to spread out in, and lots of space inside for dining, hanging out, etc. So close to Perham and great dining and shopping as well. Though late in the season we enjoyed the hot tub and a fresh dip in the lake in the evening as well!

Family vacation

The lake is beautiful and the cabin has all the necessities. Great shore line place to play for the kids. The lake is clean with few weeds at the shore line. We swam a lot. The main cabin has a mini split AC which does a great job keeping the main room cool but the bedrooms got pretty stuffy and there weren't any fans. That would be my one word of advice - bring a fan. Otherwise, we were very happy with the whole place

Celebrating family

There were some safety concerns we had with the steps going down to the lake. One person fell and skinned his knee. We liked the 2 master bedrooms upstairs. Some updating and modernizing of the carpets downstairs and steps would be nice. We really missed having a recycling bin. The floor in the kitchen area is warped. Wondering if some water got soaked under there. We did fill a large box in the garage with recycling but then ended up throwing recyclable items as we ran out of room. It would be nice to have some paddle boards. The hot tub was a bonus for us. We used it a lot! The convenience of using the washer and dryer and having two refrigerators was awesome. We enjoyed the campfire ring, tubing, and the fishing was good!

Nice family getaway!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time at the cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Hot tub, beach, dock, fire pit, all were great! Knocked one start off for a couple reasons..we showed up a little after 4pm and the cleaners were still there so we had to drive around for a while and eventually went to eat supper while waiting. Second reason was that they advertise a propane grill (which was there) but was really dirty, rusting apart, some inside pieces were even on the ground. We planned meals for the grill but went and bought a portable charcoal from the local fleet store. Overall we had the best quality family time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

Girls weekend

We truly enjoyed our stay for girls weekend! The house was very clean and very nicely stocked. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The hot tub was amazing and we used it every night. The bed were very comfortable so that was a nice treat also. The only down side is that we were not able to get the fireplace to work and also the ceiling fan/light to work. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!

Fall Family Getaway

My family enjoyed their stay at your VRBO. We had plenty of beds and plenty of room to spread out. The decor was cute. The furniture was comfortable and tasteful. We appreciated the two refrigerators and the spices in the pantry. The only concern that I had was the patio door in one of the master bedrooms (it opened, but no deck to step on).

Family Time.

The home was very satisfactory, The lake was not as nice as It used to be. There were a lot of weeds where we wanted to walk in and swim, so we had to go out on the pontoon to go swimmng in the deep water.

Great home.

Four generations stayed here for our yearly "up north" get together. Plenty of sleeping space. Two of the bedrooms upstairs do get hot. Take a fan along. The two master bedrooms are great! A nice touch was a basket of things you might have forgotten in each bathroom. Plenty of toilet paper which has been an issue at other properties for us. The extra refrigerator was very helpful. The hot tub was running, but we didn't use it as it was hot outside. There were plenty of chairs down by the water. The steps are a bit rough but there is a railing. We were glad we were allowed to use the garage as we parked our bikes in there. Overall it was a great place to stay and we had a great time.
