Green Pool

Upon arrival August 19,2024 the check in was easy. The house is nice and accommodated our family. The private pool however was green and we could not swim. It was not trended to until late the next day. Even then, we never got to use the pool which is why we rented it due to having younger grandchildren that couldn’t stay on the beach all day long. There was also a dirty diaper left in the outdoor shower. Our stay was for 4 nights. One of the bathrooms had black hair all over the floor, A couple of the towels were ragged. There was also blood on one of the pillow coverlets. The firepit would not stay lit.

Family vacay 2024

The grill off the kitchen was not working! I sent numerous e-mails as I had read previous reviews stating the same problem and was told it was working. I was in fact not working....a blatant lie!! Too, there are only THREE king size beds and the 4th is a queen size bed!! We were mislead on that front too!! Lastly, we had an issue with elevator and the pool was dirty upon arrival! I called and they came out to clean the next day. To many problems for the price point!!

Lots of potential, but fell short of expectation

Pros: Location is beautiful. The beach is right in front of the home, and isn’t crowded at all. It’s on the main highway through Perdido Key, which is easy access onto and out of the island. The pool at the house is small but fine for relaxing or taking a break from the beach. When we arrived, the home looks like the photos, very clean and looks to be newly constructed (within in the last year or so). Cons: The house is poorly stocked. No beach towels, very few bath towels, a handful of kitchen utensils but missing things like a colander, can opener. No seasonings or anything from other previous guests. It’s as if they threw out all of the useful items other guests left behind. The house feels like it’s staged as a model home (the art and decor still have price tags on them). The oven was broken and couldn’t be repaired, the grill was broken and couldn’t be repaired (there was a small “loaner grill” that we used which was ok, but not what you expect to cook on at this price point. The door lock downstairs wouldn’t open from the outside (this was repaired while we were there), the front gate latch was broken (this was also repaired while we were there), but made things inconvenient while we were there. The layout of the home is 3 stories, which can make going up and down tiresome (there is an elevator for taking luggage and groceries etc, up to 3rd story kitchen area which was great. Over all, great location, the home is just OK.

Family vacation

Beautiful home that my family and I throughly enjoyed for the week. Loved being so close to the beach and having private pool right out the back door. It was the ideal set-up for grandkids who still needed to nap. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, plenty of dishes and oversized fridge, extra ice maker and drink fridges. The gas grill off the kitchen deck did not work, so would have been nice to have known that prior. Also the oven knob was broken, so it was hard to regulate the temp. We contacted the property management group and they sent someone out to assess promptly. Would definitely rent/stay her again.

Disappontment

For a relatively new home there were many issues. The barbeque grill was not working. We were told it has been out for 2 months, but it was still advertised as an amenity. They did offer a replacement located on the ground floor, but sadly the elevator was also out of service for most of the week, which made it difficult to use. Also, the freezer/ice maker wasn’t working properly. And the firepit was also in repair until midweek. There were no written instructions in the house-which would have been helpful for trash pick up, WiFi, etc. For such a huge home, they only supplied one dish towel for the kitchen. There were no blankets/pillows, etc for the sofas with pullout beds and no extra blankets in any of the five bedrooms. Also, no laundry baskets. We could have used more bowls/serving platters in the kitchen and needed more bath towels. Although the house was beautiful, the owner did not follow through with the necessary things needed to make our stay comfortable and there were way too may things needing to be repaired, which meant many calls to the management company throughout the week. Very disappointing and will not be renting this home again!!

Amazing rental home

Property was beautiful and very clean. It was fully furnished and ready when we arrived. The only negative we had was the outdoor grill was not working and we were not advised ahead of time. We were compensated for this inconvenience but we did have to scramble the first night as we'd planned to grill and eat in since everyone was arriving at different times. Being a new property this was an issue the builder needed to resolve for warranty reasons. Since the property manager was aware of this issue I felt like we should have been advised before our arrival. Just would have made things a little easier the first night. We loved the home and would definitely consider coming here again.
