Introducing Carey Me Away at Purple Parrot Village Resort. This resort is a fan favorite of visitors to Perdido Key. Some guests even come just to enjoy the large lagoon style pool. Who can blame them with a refreshing waterfall splashing down and offering a wonderful white noise. No one will judge if you choose float therapy over the beach, but you should know Perdido Key has beaches that rival the most famous beaches in the world. The white sand looks like sugar and is so fine it squeaks when you walk. The waters of the Gulf of Mexico are sparkling blue and have stripes of emerald green over the sandbars. It is easy to see why this is a boaters paradise. Purple Parrot guests have easy access to the beach (see photo gallery) which is only a 10 minute walk, away, but we recommend the 2 minute drive because it is a well traveled road.
Perdido Key is a laid back, more natural, less developed community and Purple Parrot fits in perfectly. It has the distinct vibe of a picturesque beach village. The architecture is upscale coastal and there are numerous quality amenities for valued guests to enjoy. It is located close to the heart of Perdido Key and near shopping, local attractions and favorite restaurants of the Locals.
This condo feels more like a cottage and has been recently updated for the comfort and enjoyment of every guest. The modern kitchen is fresh and is fully equipped for preparing everything from snacks to an al fresco dinner on the front porch. The living area is tasteful and comfortable and offers free wifi for guests who need to stay connected to the real world. There is a half bath conveniently located downstairs This condo is set up with Queen sized beds. Each bedroom is furnished with a Queen sized bed and has an en suite bathroom. It is perfect for a friend weekend enjoying a time away from it all or a smaller family looking for a vacation spot that caters to the kids. It even makes a great snowbird stay.
