We enjoyed our stay in Pensacola so much that we decided to stay and extra night. The condo we were in was booked so the staff bent over backwards to find a vacant one witch just happened to be a penthouse!!
We stayed in Emerald Isle unit 307 while visiting family in Pensacola and loved this condo. The furniture and mattresses are very high quality, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the washer and dryer are heavy duty commercial models. The condo appeared to be recently updated, and the decor is beautifully seashore themed without being over the top. We have stayed in many condos in the Pensacola Beach area, and this is definitely one we would recommend. The Emerald Isle grounds are well maintained. Two beautiful pools and a hot tub were checked for cleanliness and chemicals every day. A workout room provided a nice assortment of machines. The Gulf Coast beach sand is beautifully white and soft. Several good restaurants are nearby, and a wonderful Publix grocery store are a few minutes away. We have stayed on Pensacola Beach for over 30 years, and it is one of the loveliest beach areas we know.
Southern Rentals and Resorts 1204 at Emerald Isle was upon first blush just fine. However the guest room had not been vacuumed as we had to sweep quite a bit of sand from the floors. The master bedroom bath had large food crumbs left on the floor, and the toilet had brown spots at the bottom of the bowl once we were there indicating it had not been cleaned, UCK. I had to unstop the tub with a large wad of hair and soap in the master bath. I think you’re paying someone to clean your unit and their not. Evidenced more so by black feet in the unit. Bottom line, it is the customer ultimately getting ripped off and you are probably not aware of it. We were two older couples in this unit and this opinion reflects both our thoughts. This is the 7-8th year of renting units in this location and this by far has been the worst. Step up your game folks!!!
We stayed in a condo on the second floor. (Room 202). This was a very nice and clean condo. Two private bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. Full kitchen with a sleeper sofa. Beautiful view of the ocean. I loved having a washer & dryer so I didn't have to take home dirty clothes. Highly recommend!
Stayed in a 4 bedroom condo during Blue Angels. Great view, plenty of space and gulf front. The condo had windows all across the gulf side. End unit helped minimize any noise. Condo had two pools and a hot tub. Condo also controlled traffic to ensure plenty of parking during a very heavy traffic weekend. Gated community so security was also nice. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed for 3 nights in unit 1204. The location is perfect and condo is beautiful. Easy access to 2 pools, hot tub and beach! Now if you are staying in this particular condo be prepared. Bring hair dryer if you use one, additional tissue and even trash bags. I called on our second day here to tell them there was only the one trash bag and was told they do not provide additional supplies. We have been coming to the beach for years but this is our first time renting from Southern Vacation Rentals and also the only time I have ever had to provide our own garbage bags! This is also one of those units where you have to rent your beach chairs for $45.00 per day. Some condos provide that others don’t.
Our first time staying in Pensacola, and this condo building was in a great location - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Nice pool area with two pools and hot tub. We were fortunate our condo came with 2 beach chairs/umbrella.
We have stayed in multiple condos over the years on different trips and we are never disappointed! The grounds are very clean, it's secure, easy beach access and great views!! The pool and hot rub are very relaxing. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend.
Our stay was for four days on memorial day weekend. We stayed on the fourth floor. All rooms have an unobstructed beach view. The room had two bedrooms and two baths. Lots of room in the full kitchen and the living area. We had two balcony entrances, one from the living space and one from the master bedroom. The condo has two pools and a hot tub. Everything was clean and well kept. The keyless entry was nice, we didn't have to keep up with keys. The parking lot is gated so only residents can enter. Easy beach access from the pools with rental chairs, kayaks, and SUPs. The beach was not overly crowded and was clean. Location is on the edge of the of the developed area so you will be close to stores and curio shops without most of the traffic congestion. Enjoy.
Emerald Isle is great place with a great location. It’s near the end of the condo strip where the private houses start. Because of this, The beach is much less crowded. There are two pools, one of which is heated. They have an exercise room as well. Kyle works the beach and manages the chairs, umbrellas and other beach amenities. He’s a cool dude and takes great care of the guests! We’ll be staying here again.
