Just over the dune and we were at the beach. Within walking distance to everything. Plenty of parking area. And best if all, a great shelling beach.
Showers cold when hotel is full , rooms are noisy
50 year old motel. Clean, good location. A place to stay,
Absolutely horrible. I would never recommend this hotel. It was dirty, bed was lumpy and gross. Honestly would never stay at another Day's Inn after this experience.
Weather was great but w humidity the room was very moist
Great location close to shops and the beach. Gulf side was nice. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance. The whole crew was great. I have no complaints
My Mom enjoyed going to beach without the usual long walk to it. Breakfast was really great and staff gave me a tray to take food to our room. We stayed up late so my daughter would not have made the 10:00 am cut off. Hotel had microwave so we were able to heat up her waffles.
nice breakfast, clean room with fridge and microwave - good view
We had an oceanfront view which some people used to smoke outside. The staff was very nice and they kept our room immaculate!
Parking - lots of it. All of the hotels around also seemed to have their own lots. Room - dated. The entire building is dated. Beware of kids which could be right outside your door. Depending on the room you get. The patio is not a private patio it is the access to each room. Old style hotel. Bed and shower - good Big fridge and microwave Staff - no issues. Check in - Easy There was a additional fee to change my room to have a beach view. Which wasn't spectacular, since the hotel is "on the beach" I did expect better views. Didn't find a safe n the room. Location - great Pensacola beach - great weekend getaway Next time I will spend a few more bucks and stay at other hotels in this area.
I understand that this is on the beach, and that is why it costs more. But, the rooms are very disappointing. Something is wrong with the AC to where it gets the rooms cold, but everything in the room is damp. This was in my room and a friend's room on a different floor. The bathrooms have mold and mildew growing in the corners and the walls of the tub have cracks. The toilet didn't flush without holding the handle down. The door to the bathroom wouldn't lock, and you had to slam the front door to shut it. The staff is friendly, especially Latosha, but I will not be staying here again.
It wasn't bad. Great access to the beautiful beach at a reasonable price.
Great price for location. Had an issue at 2a.m with people from another room that gathered chairs and sat outside our room talking loudly. Staff took care of complaint promptly. Room décor fine, and pool, hot tub, free breakfast in morning, very nice. Great, beautiful beach access can't beat it. Walking distance to shopping, pier, every thing very near. Our flight was delayed, came in a day late, staff very accommodating to print out receipts and letters of verification for trip insurance needs. Staff allowed late departure time by an hour, to accommodate our return flight plans. Can't say enough about the staff! Our trip was great and filled with variety of restaurants, shopping, walking, and recreation. Only negative...mold in bathroom, but I am noticing this where ever it is a hotel located directly on beach. Perhaps the dampness of weather? No mold anywhere else. Would stay again.
The Days Inn was an excellent choice for my wife and I. Clean, good price, excellent location. However, the game changer was the staff. The Staff is professional, friendly. They were always walking the property to ensure it is kept clean and residents are safe and enjoying themselves.
Pool were clean and very nice .The maids were so friendly and wonderful help. Could not have asked for a prettier beach. We are planning our vacation next year in the same place.
The location is great you're close to everything it's on the beach and close to stores and restaurants. The only problem was that the room was not clean.
Although the hotel is older and lacks some of the amenities of the larger/newer properties in the area (no restaurant on site) it's well maintained, has a friendly staff and is directly on the beach. It was nearly half the price of other hotels in the area and since you're going to spend most of your time on the beach you're really not going to enjoy most of what a more expensive hotel offers.
Not he best. Problem s with the tub backing up with water and the phone didn't work.
The description of room as island view was very misleading. Thought I had an ocean front room, very disappointed that view was other hotels. Loved the Boardwalk, great food and shopping, walking distance to anything we wanted to do.
