This site is perfect for people who like the outdoors with countryside all around.
This site is perfect for people who like the outdoors with countryside all around. There is no restaurant or clubhouse on site but plenty of pubs and cafes within a short drive. The kitchen has everything needed to make meals with a good size dining table provided. The veranda also has a large table and comfortable chairs. The showers are good in both the ensuite and main bathroom.

Lovely peaceful site and the lodge was really clean.
Lovely peaceful site and the lodge was really clean. Some superficial marks on walls and doors but you would have to be harsh to let that affect a review. I was slightly concerned from some of the reviews I had seen but was pleasantly surprised. Great site just out of the way but I knew that when booking. Will definitely return. The only thing I found missing was half decent wifi and area to walk the dog on site but not a massive problem

As much as we liked our lodge, we found the cooker hood not working so we had to open all windows when we cooked. The freezer had a lot of ice in it and could do with a periodic defrost.

Lodge generally clean and tidy, although showing some wear, the oven had been sprayed but not cleaned which we only found out when there was an excessive amount of steam and smell coming from it..we just cleaned it off but did take some time.
