Right on the beach

Awesome stay right on the beach. Easy walk to the castle and all else Peñíscola has to offer. The hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful to make your stay a good one. Great place if you have a car as parking is easy and cheaper than any of the surrounding areas. Hotel has a decent restaurant as well.

we had a 3 night stay very enjoyable right on the beach and a lovely walk into town each evening.The breakfast is quite adequate for a 1 star hotel .the restaurant is excellent and the service very good and friendly both lunch time and evening,We would certainly stay here again.

Beach living :)

This hotel is right on the beach and we went to sleep listening to the waves. The breakfast is simple but fine and we we're outside people watching the world go by on the boardwalk. The people working there are lovely and on for a chat. The location is great, as I said right on the beach, but also close to restaurants. We loved the Mexican restaurant about 900m down the street. The castle is also visible from the hotel, and worth a visit.

Friendly staff

The staff goes out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. The hotel is a cute little 2 story place right on the beach. The beds were a little soft, and noise travels, but for the price, the amazing location, and super kind staff, I think it's a great find.

Traditional hotel in good location

The hotel is older style which we liked. There was no lift so this may be a disadvantage for some people. It was okay for us and the owner offered help with luggage. The owners were very helpful and the position on the waterfront was really nice. We walked along the beach to the castle, an interesting building historically. It took about 30 minutes. Breakfast was very basic, lacked nutritious options like whole meal bread and better quality cereals. The cafe/bar area was lovely. The owners need to look at supplying bottled water (many hotels in Spain do offer free bottled water) At the restaurant we paid for a bottle of water. It came in a glass bottle but I thought it had been poured from bottled water. It was obviously tap water as I was quite sick after. Apart from this we enjoyed the stay.
