Great location!

We came to the area to explore the national park on our bikes. This house is very conveniently located adjacent to the trail. We biked onto the trail everyday right from the house. We could ride for miles north and south of Peninsula. The town itself is quaint and has some shops, restaurants and the train depot. We made our meals in the kitchen or on the grill and the house was very comfortable.

Great house/great locationThis was our second stay in this house over the years. We came to the area to ride the bike trails so it is the perfect fit. Literally right on the Erie Canal towpath. Check in process is seamless and communication with the owner is great. The house was spotlessly clean and has every thing you could need.Highly recommend

We had a great time. You could leave the property and walk to the Towpath trail. We also appreciated the Cuyahoga Valley guidebooks that were available in the house. The upstairs is an open room with an A/C window unit and fan to stay cool. There is no bathroom on the second floor; however, there are two on the first floor, and they are nicely updated. The kitchen is well stocked and there is enough space for 6 people to eat at the island.

Very nice property

We really enjoyed our stay here. Excellent location (close to a couple restaurants, bike rental, Scenic Railway, small shops) and central in the Cuyahoga National Park. The property itself had everything we needed and then some. Host was very gracious. Highly recommend.

Survived the “heat dome”

Great property and awesome host, Paul. Tried to go to northern Ohio to escape southern heat, but heat followed us! The house was super comfortable in spite of heat. Access to towpath is so easy, riding in morning was tolerable due to lots of shade. House is very convenient, easy walk to restaurants and coffee shop right across the street. Has become our go to place to visit family and friends in the area.

Lovely home, perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay in this house! The furnishings were comfortable and the amenities met any needs we could have had. The newly renovated kitchen was great for cooking as well as gathering for board games. The house was fully stocked with supplies (flashlights, band-aids, bug spray etc.), linens, towels, games, kitchen items etc. The location of this property is absolutely perfect for exploring and enjoying Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The front porch offers a view of the river and the towpath is just steps away from the house. The Boston Mill visitor center is a 15-20 minute bike ride north of the house and the beaver/wetland area is a 20-30 minute bike ride south of the house. The village of Peninsula offers several restaurants, a farm market, and one of the stations for the scenic railroad, and all are a few minutes' walk from the house. The host responded quickly and completely to all of our questions and made the house very inviting for our stay. We certainly plan to stay at this property again!

This property was perfect for our visit to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We were steps away from the Topath trail and just across the street from the coffee house, and The Winking Lizard restaurant. Friend Holiday!

This property in Peninsula had an ideal location (steps away from front door!) for lovely riverside walks, canal lock visits, and local shopping and national park/holiday tourism. Inside, we made good use of the well stocked kitchen and cozy communal areas for big meals, board games, and quiet snuggle-in times. Paul was a great communicator before and during our stay!
