Absolutely phenomenal surf vacation with claire and Duncan. Could not have asked for nicer hosts or better surf instruction. Don’t expect anything exciting from the town itself, but claire and Duncan will make sure you have a memorable visit.

Great folks provide simple, reliable accommodation

Claire and Duncan are kind, friendly hosts. They also operate a small apartment as an extension of the lodge, so know that depending on availability, you might end up a few minutes up the street in an apartment (we did). But the friendly hostel feel carried over to the apartment, which was very clean and comfortable and had multiple balconies to enjoy the sea air. Would certainly stay again!

Vi fik en god modtagelse. Opholdet varede 7 nætter. efter 1. dag var der ikke mere toiletpapir, efter 4 nat fik vi to rene håndklæder på anmodning via mail. Sengetøjet holdt i alle 7 nætter. Der var en god madras i dobbeltsengen og det dobbelte dynetæppe var stort nok til os to. Køkkenet fungerede fint, men også her manglede der skift af viskestykker og karklud samt opfyldning af 'tag selv morgenmadsprodukter'. To flinke værtsfolk - de øjeblikke de var til stede. Vi var heldige med godt vejr. Eneste rumopvarmning er en lille el/olie varmer, som ville være utilstrækkelig ved lidt lavere temperaturer (februar). Værelse og bad er pæne, dog er der meget lyt når hoveddøren smækker eller hvis der er gæster der kommer sent hjem om aftenen. WiFi er ok til mails og beskeder, men har svært ved at følge med til Streaming. Beliggenheden er god, på den anden side af vejen er der udsigt over det fantastiske Atlanterhavet. Der er cafeer og supermarkeder indenfor gåafstand.
