The staff is made up of some of the friendliest people we met in Costa Rica. The grounds were beautiful and the cabins accommodating and private. The only issue we had was obtaining drinking water and food. They don't have a store on the property (as far as I know) so when we arrived we were very hungry and couldn't get snacks. The bathroom sinks were also not big enough to fit a water bottle under. They do have a dispenser in the main office and restaurant. The restaurant was also a small issue. It's the only place to get food and the wait was very long 2 out of 3 times we ate there, assumingely because they have a very small staff. Those two times we were also served out of order from when we arrived. Again, I assume this was a mistake but it offended a couple people we were with. It shouldn't really take an hour to get nachos when guests who arrived after us got their full meals way before us. We also didn't even get water or our drink orders taken before two other groups who arrived after us had their food orders taken. Again, not sure why this was, they were very kind and apologetic but it made us feel some type of way.

Our family of four had a great time. Our kids loved playing soccer at the lodge field. Staff so friendly and helpful.

The staff was extremely helpful arranging any excursion we wanted to do.

The rooms are super peaceful and private with lovely jungle views. There are some bugs, but you're in the jungle. Had a great dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast is yummy. And pretty much the nicest staff we've ever had.

Amazing and unique hotel. Oscar was very helpful. Modern and clean rooms in a well cared for garden. Overall a great experience. Restaurant had good food and service was excellent. Twenty minute drive from La Fortuna. it was nice to be out of the larger city but close enough to do the activities that the city had to offer.

The staff and the facilities were incredible. The rooms were gorgeous and so nicely cleaned. The food is fantastic. This is our favorite place to stay in Costa Rica!!
