The staff of the hotel is very friendly and professional. Mr Taruma is always happy to give you great recommendations. The hotel has in place interesting sustainability practices such as free water refill to eliminate plastics and recycling organic material.

Taruna Homstay was fantastic, beautifully kept facilities , friendly helpful staff and management. I would gladly stay there again. My only complaint is the food! They need a good chef / cook that can provide a better quality eating experience and then they will excel above all competition. Dining quality is important in a location where the choice is limited.

Intimate Friendly Home Stay

We spent nine nights at Taruna and would recommend it as a relaxing, friendly homestay. The staff are mostly family members and are very hospitable and helpful. The grounds are relaxing and beautiful and the restaurant on the premises serves delicious and reasonably priced food. It is a short walk to the beach, without the need to cross the road.

This pretty hotel is beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. The staff is very gracious and accommodating. The restaurant serves a wonderful variety of fresh and delicious food. We ate there every evening.

Incredible Service

Taruna Homestay was an excellent break away from the city. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One night we were uncomfortable with our room and they managed to switch it the next day no problem. Service was amazing and the staff always remembered our names, a nice touch that will be remembered. Decent location but slightly out of the way of other restaurants and snorkelling areas.

Comfortable stay

We had a comfortable stay for a week at Taruna. The staff were very friendly, service was ok but could be improved by waiter service in the pool area which was a bit away from the bar area if you wished to order drinks etc. Room was fine, good pool area but we were disappointed with the food. The breakfast was limited. We had dinner on two occasions and found the food to be very average and expensive compared to other nearby restaurants.
