The Space:

It is just a 1 hour and 20-minute drive from Cairns and is located in the rural town of Peeramon. This secluded tiny house overlooks a valley with views of Mount Bartle Frere and is the perfect base for exploring the Atherton Tablelands. Nearby attractions include Millaa Millaa Falls, Lake Barrine, Malanda, and Yungaburra. The retreat offers a peaceful escape surrounded by World Heritage-listed national parks, ideal for those seeking both relaxation and adventure.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

Guests can access the tiny home and surrounding areas with the exception of the main residence.

It is a secluded hideaway in Peeramon. It is just a 1 hour and 20-minute drive from Cairns. This tiny house offers sweeping views of Mount Bartle Frere and provides a gateway to the rugged charm of the Atherton Tablelands. The region is known for its volcanic lakes, rainforests, and agricultural heritage. It’s an ideal spot for exploring nearby landmarks and soaking in the natural beauty of North Queensland’s hinterland.



Within a 10-minute drive, you can visit the pristine volcanic lakes of Lake Eacham for swimming and picnicking. For nature lovers, the nearby Mt Hypipamee National Park offers unique scenes like craters and waterfalls, while Mungalli Falls showcases the area's verdant rainforest.



For those looking to enjoy more leisurely activities, Lake Tinaroo is ideal for boating and fishing, and the Kuranda region offers an array of experiences including the scenic Kuranda train, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, and Kuranda Koala Gardens. Getting Around:

By Car:



- From Cairns: 1 hour and 20 minutes (recommended route: Kuranda Range, not Gillies).

- 5 minutes from Malanda.

- Reachable by 2WD and 4WD.



By Public Transport:



- No public transport available.



By Flight:



- Fly into Cairns Airport, then drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to the retreat using the Kuranda Range route.



Other Things to Note:

- Wifi is not available

- BBQ Grill is not available

- No pets are allowed on the property

- Smoking is not allowed on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra and no signals for the rest

- Due to the nature of the property, wildlife may be present on the property.

- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property

- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Please take note that outdoor fire pits are not available during the fire season

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
