Heerlijke vakantie

Schoon en net onderhouden appartement met een lekker zitje aan de voorzijde. Lokatie lekker centraal, zodat je heel Istrie makkelijk met de auto kunt bekijken. Eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij.

Kleinere Auffälligkeiten, aber aufgrund des Gesamtbildes immer noch ein sehr gut. Insbesondere das herzliche und zuvorkommende Verhalten der Besitzer ohne Aufdringlich zu werden war bemerkenswert.

Haus Lea liegt in einem kleine...

Haus Lea liegt in einem kleinen Dorf nahe Pazin, dort kann man alle Bedarfsgüter gut einkaufen. Die direkte Umgebung ist ausgesprochen ländlich, nachts hört man viele Geräusche, die man als "Städter" so wohl noch nicht gehört hat. Auf dem Land begegnen einem eben auch viele Tiere, die man ebenfalls noch nie gesehen hat. Das Haus an sich ist schön im mediterranen Stil gestaltet, der Pool liegt seitlich am Haus. Die Vermieter–Familie ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und stets darum bemüht, den Gästen eine angenehme Zeit zu bereiten – hierzu noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön! Während unserer Urlaubszeit kamen zwei Stürme, der Pool und das Gelände war stets binnen kürzester Zeit wieder vollständig sauber. Ein kleinerer Kritikpunkt von uns ist das Thema Sauberkeit: Unter den Betten und Möbeln lag eine dicke Staubschicht, allerdings konnte man dadurch auch schneller Tiere finden, die man nicht unter dem Bett haben wollte. ;–)Zwei Verbesserungsvorschläge: Eine Halterung für die Dusche und eine Mikrowelle wären noch sehr praktisch, gerade für Familien mit kleineren Kindern. Ansonsten hatten wir eine tolle Zeit – vielen Dank dafür! Reisetipps: Um Istrien überhaupt erst kennenlernen zu können, ist Pazin der ideale Ausgangspunkt, da alle interessantenOrte innerhalb einer Fahrzeit von max. 60 Minuten erreichbar sind. Die besonders empfehlenswerten Städte Rovinj (!) und Porec (beide an der Westküste) sind gar in einer halben Stunde erreicht. Pflichtprogramm: Altstadtbummel in Rovinj. Besuch der Baredine–Grotte mit dem Grottenolm und des Aquacolors–Wasserrutschenparks. Auf dem kleinen Markt in Rovinj gibt es an den hinteren Ständen Obst und Gemüse aus der Region. (Fausregel: Wer Früchte anbietet, die nicht in Istrien wachsen, hat auch keine heimischen Produkte im Angebot.) Dort vor dem Strandbesuch mit Pfirsichen (!!!) und Weintrauben eindecken. Auch die Karstlandschaft der Umgebung hat ihren Reiz. Einen tollen Strand gibt es in Fazana, hier grenzt ein Naturschutzgebiet ans Meer.Wer es mondän mag: Opatija an der Ostküste über die Küstenstraße anfahren. Auf dem Rückweg gen Norden unbedingt in Slowenien nach Portoroz abbiegen und dort rasten, allerdings ist Slowenien bereits erheblich touristischer und deshalb auch teurer als Kroatien. Tipp: Kleingeld sammeln, manche Parkautomaten nehmen nur Münzen.

Die Unterkunft ist wie auf der...

Die Unterkunft ist wie auf der Webseite beschrieben. Da wir über Pfingsten gebucht hatten, war das Objekt nur teilbelegt. So hatten wir (unsere Mädels) Garten und Pool für uns alleine. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und besorgt, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Sie spricht ein wenig Deutsch und recht ordentlich Englisch, er nur wenig. Dafür aber Italienisch und Französisch, hatte er in der Schule, habe ich aber erst am letzten Tag erfahren. Garten und Pool waren immer gepflegt, die Wohnung war sauber. Für Urlauber, die etwas von Istrien sehen wollen, ein guter Ausgangsort. Nachts totale Ruhe. Reisetipps: Wir haben grosse Teile der Küste gesehen (der Halbinsel). Unsere Favoriten: Pula, Rovinj, Porec. Novigrad auch ganz nett, Umag kam bei uns nicht so an. Opatja als Kontrastprogramm, weil alte Pracht, gepflegter Park. Rabac kann man sich sparen. Orte im Inland: Groznjan und Motovun, beide liegen auf einer Bergspitze. Groznan mit etlichen Ateliers, Künstlern, Motovun mit netten Lädchen, Restaurants, einer begehbaren Stadtmauer. Beide Orte mit guter Fernsicht. Ebenso auch die Altstadt von Labin, die ist allerdings touristisch kaum berührt. Kulinarisch: Überall geniales Speiseeis, grosse Portionen zu kleinen Preisen, stellt. m. E. oft das Italienische Eis noch in den Schatten. Ansonsten Restaurants ohne Ende, wir waren immer zufrieden. Qualität gut, Portionen gross, Preise klein. Der Favorit unserer Mädels die Pizzeria (und mehr) Perperoni in der Altstadt von Pazin. Strand: Vrsar war unser Favorit. Runter zur Marina fahren, weiter durch bis zu den Parkplätzen. Grosse Liegewiese mit sonnigen und schattigen Abschnitten. Nicht überlaufen, ruhig, leichtes Einsteigen über Kies. Limski Kanal besuchen. Am hinteren Zipfel gibt es eine Zufahrt. Ein paar Restaurants. Bootsfahrten.

Es war wie immer dort in unserer 2. Heimat wunderschön. Wer die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Nette Vermieter und ein sehr sauberer Pool tragen zum Wohlbefinden bei.
