Superb service

Absolutely amazing location. A little far from ubud however the tranquility of the jungle was welcome. We took the daily shuttle to ubud which the resort provided. The staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for a month and loved the privacy of having our own villa with a pool.

The location was beautiful BUT the villas were average. They struggle to maintain them in the wet climate. We found power cables sitting in puddles of water and wet power points. The rooms are nice with incredible views and stunning pools BUT when we went to go to bed the bedding smelt disgusting. We found dirty sheets and urine smell. We asked them to change the mattress but it wasn’t done. After 24 hours they changed our villa.

Stay away !!! Fraud !!!

The advertisement of the property is false on the hotels.com website. The room type not being the same as listed is catfishing / frauding tourists from booking it. Upon check in when I inquired about the room, the receptionist advised me that the room type I booked was unavailable and that it doesn’t exist on their property. That doesn’t make sense to me, and when spoken to her about it she advised that their reservation team made a mistake and that the rooms were incorrect. I went specifically for that room type. This is very frustrating and unethical on the resorts part. They’re charging people so much money, and yet they don’t have the proper facilities as advertised. As soon as I stepped into the room, there were lizards on the bed and stains on the bedding, how can someone who’s travelled internationally be okay with that. Yes I understand it’s in the woods but there should be a system in place where bugs or small animals don’t enter the rooms. Or if they do they should be extracted immediately for the guests comfort instead of being told they’re harmless and it’s normal. But upon seeing everything that I did, there’s no way anyone would stay here. The stains on the towels, bed sheets, the room smelling like rotten meat, the pool looking like it has algae growing, and the washrooms with flies everywhere. That is unlivable. They did not give my money back and said you can go stay somewhere else and left me stranded with no place to stay. I had to uber to another resort.

Kul opplevelse, men kunne vært tener og med matser

Betjeningen var veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomme. Litt dårlig renhold og fasiliteter, men privat basseng var fantastisk. Gitt at der faktisk er i jungelen og vanskelig tilkomst kunne det vært perfekt med en restaurant. Man må bestill mat levert fra gojak om man vil ha noe annet en frokost. Men alt i alt en kul opplevelse.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön eingebettet im Dschungel – die Lage ist definitiv ein Highlight für alle, die Ruhe und Natur suchen. Der Pool ist großzügig und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Auch die Größe der Anlage ist angenehm – nicht zu überlaufen und mit ausreichend Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Was etwas weniger überzeugt hat, war die Entfernung zur Stadt bzw. zu zentralen Punkten – man ist doch recht abgeschieden und braucht etwas Zeit, um woanders hinzukommen. Außerdem war die Sauberkeit und das Frühstück leider nur mittelmäßig. Es war nicht unhygienisch, aber für den Preis hätte ich mir etwas mehr Sorgfalt gewünscht. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt mit Potenzial nach oben – besonders für Naturliebhaber geeignet, die etwas abseits wohnen möchten.
