Hotel in the jungle. Great different experience nice pool.

stayed for one night with family. great spa experience. views were excellent. Family villa and breakfast were above average. surprisingly, traffic noise could be heard at night so it was not fully a secluded experience. Mostly suitable for couples.

The hotel was excellent. One of the best places we've stayed. Top notch in all everything.

This is the best hotel i've ever stayed at in my life! The service was spectacular from the moment we walked in. Its very expensive but definitely worth the money if you can afford it. I would not change a think about it! I wish I could go back there! Its a little far from the main town in Ubud but there are shuttles that run until around 5pm? The only negative was that you would need to call a taxi after for about $30?

We decided to book hanging gardens to stay outside of the downtown area for some much needed downtime and from the pictures and reviews this looked like the perfect place....it was! Phenomenal resort! From what I can tell we booked in the low season while the hotel was under construction, so we got a great deal. I've heard during the high season it is much less affordable. Pricing aside, I would go back in a heartbeat. Staff was beyond attentive. From the moment we checked in we were addressed by name by everyone on the resort. The spa was also under renovation, but since we arrived late we booked the last slot at for massages and it did not disappoint. The location! We had our reservations about being that far out (30 minutes) from downtown, but the scenery was worth it! With the sound of the river, a beautiful temple right on the other side of the valley and rice patties a bike ride away, it couldn't have been better (only if it was slightly closer to the city)

Breakfast and afternoon tea service was excellent. The views from this hotel of the forest and listening to the river are the best things of this hotels. The staff are great. Monkeys came each afternoon to eat at then nearby fruit tree, but they seemed to also want to watch us for their entertainment. The pool was nice to dip into when the humidity hit you. I wish the hotel was a bit closer to Ubud. The hotel should have shuttle service that picks up guests later than the normal working hours.
