We stayed in 1 bedroom summerhouse unit. We did not get the specific unit we booked on VRBO. We got a Pretty run- down apartment on 3rd floor. 2 beds in the single bedroom had B/O. sofa bed had metal springs that were sticking out and it had a chunk of plywood under the cushions to prevent people from falling into it. White socks would turn black from dirt while walking in the floor. Overall cleanliness was questionable. Kitchen pots were very run down. Housekeeping brings fresh towels and takes always the trash - so that’s good. Not sure if they map the floor. Like ever. So cleanliness is a major concern. I’d say 1.5 in scale of 1-10. None of that is unusual for Sunmerhouse. As bad as it is, we still keep coming back for the beach, pool, and the overall feel of the resort. But I would not recommend it to friends because of the issues I mentioned.
