2018 holiday was again 3 weeks at the Siam Guest House. I can't thank the team enough for great service and super clean rooms. I have said it on previous occasions but I will say it again. This is the perfect place to stay for comfort, cleanliness and location. Walk to the beach, shopping malls (Central Festival and Royal Garden Plaza), beer bars or even Walking Street. They are all within easy reach. A 10 minute walk also get's you to the area where Bhat buses leave from Jomtien AND coming back from Jomtien, the Bhat bus drops you off right at the door of Siam Guest House. The laundry service here too is excellent with clothes smelling fresh and beautifully ironed ready for you after a busy day on the beach. So, take my word for it, this is the place to stay. I'm already getting ready to book for 2019 especially since Qatar Airways will now be opereating directly to Pattaya airport. Thank you again to all the staff at the Siam for looking after us. Can't wait to return.
I traveled to pattaya for weekend. I stay at the siam guest house. The room was cleaned each day free of charge, the staff very kind. And the location was in the central of pattaya only a few minutes from the beach, restaurants, and night life - for fun. A great place to stay and cheap.
I been staying at the Siam Guest house for many years. The place is excellent from the location to the clean rooms and friendly staff. Here are the things that make this place a great little Guest House. First it is located off 2nd Road but on a Cul-de-sac so you don't have the thru traffic most other places have making it very quiet at night for sleeping. Being right off 2nd road you are on the main baht bus route. The main Baht bus route will make a loop from Siam Guest House down to the 2nd road and Pattaya Nua then all the way back up Beach road to the entrance to Walking Street and then back around on 2nd road past the Siam Guest house. Additionally, for me I like to walk around and the Central Festival Mall, The Royal Garden Mall, Mike's Shopping, and the Avenue shopping area are all easy 5~10 minute walks away. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, according to Google Maps it is 350 meters to the beach. There is a 7 eleven 20 meters up 2nd road from Soi 12 (Siam Guest House road). There is a Family Mart the next block up from the 7 eleven. There are tour agent booths around the area, one right at Soi 12 and 2nd Road. The Siam Guest House can assist with your needs for tours. I usually would arrive Thailand and spend a night or two in Bangkok and catch the bus down to Pattaya but this last time I emailed the Siam Guest House and booked a pickup from the Suvarnabhumi Airport at 1130PM at night. It went a smooth as glass. You need to realize that there are 3 or 4 areas where people can exist the customs area so you need to check all the areas for your name but once I found the guy, (took about 5 minutes to check all areas, he was at the last one) the trip down to Pattaya was very good with no traffic at midnight. I recommend the place 100%.
+: it was very clean and quiet. The linen was very comfortable. The Wifi was excellent. It was cleaned daily. It's very close to Pattaya Central Market and Central Festival shopping mall. 7 Eleven and Familymart are just a few metres away. The beach is also not too far away. -: The name NIDA was nowhere to be seen. It's Siam Guesthouse. So ask around. The hot shower wasn't working properly.
We had booked two rooms for two nights. One of the room we got smelled horrible and I could hardly breath inside. Had too spend one night in this dump. Next morning I demanded too switch room, which they allowed. No smell but the safty look was brooken so I was not feeling so safe whit my belongings. After two days we shifted place too another ackommodation and my suggestion is that never book this house at first place.
we arrived in the evening only to find we had to pay by cash and not by card which we were not expecting, fortunately we had enough on us to pay for the nights booked, and there was not a stocked mini bar or safe in our room as stated on the guesthouse website. however this was all nicely corrected in the morning by the manageress and her staff , the cash was refunded ,the minibar stocked and our documents placed in a safe box at reception. throughout our stay my wife and I were treated really well by all of the staff and they helped us as much as they could and we would certainly use this guesthouse again as it is very clean, quiet and is situated in a dead end street with no traffic.
I looked for the cheapest possible living but still not too far from the action. Siam guesthouse was perfect for me. Cheap, ok cleaning, WiFi, AC. My room had the window towards another wall but it was all ok. Beds hard and good, restaurants all over outside. Ate breakfast at Apex hotel next door a few days.
Spent another 3 weeks here January 2017. As always the staff are very professional and the property always kept to a very good standard. I really can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else as the Siam Guest House is perfect for your Pattaya visit. The rates are always good and the cleanliness excellent. All staff at Siam work hard and smile constantly. I really think they do a wonderful job here. Also, the Siam is right in the middle of the busiest parts of Pattaya but inside you hear only birdsong. Lovely. Do remember though, Pattaya is party city so make sure you come prepared for a wild holiday. I will be booking again for 2018. Can't wait.
Reception staff do not speak English, do not even try. Grumpy and dis-interested. Room safes do not work. Must leave valuables in reception lock boxes. Room very, very, basic but ok. Only stayed 2 nights and moved to much better hotel for $8 more per night at Soi 11 called H Boutique Hotel. This is like a hotel on a guest house price. Much better than Siam Guest House. Also be aware that there are literally hundreds of accommodation options here so if unsure, just book a couple of nights to ensure you like your accommodation.
I expected more from this Budget Guest-house we stayed there a year ago (Feb 15) what a change, Reception staff were not very helpful, cobwebs in the rooms!! we will not stay here again the Standard has gone downhill drastically There are better places to stay in Pattaya at a much better Price.
