I would not suggest the hotel to anyone. The staff here is extremely rude. They don't have any traits of hospitality Industry. Rooms were not cleaned and we didn't even get water in room for 4 hours after calling. Only the location of resort is good. Nothing else. Worst staff I've seen for a hotel till date.

Over the years i have been staying at sunshine, i noticed a dramatic change for the better, in addition to great location garden balconies and swimming pool, it has great breakfast, english speaking staff and great degree of room cleanliness. I think the management has a hand in this!! congratulations.

Absolute crappy place to stay. Even though the hotel was hardly occupied, they took 700 Baht as an early checkin charges for two hours. The room they provided had misaligned cot over the bed. My mother fell down and got severely injured with significant blood loss. When the hotel was informed about this, they did not even bothered to arrange any medical support / first aid for the same.all they did was to change the room. Your rooms will not be cleaned despite u make hell lot of request to the front desk. Be prepared to face situations like you are taking shower and u will see that the water will stop coming through your shower. To cut short, absolute crappy place to stay.

We took two rooms for a few of us and discovered our rooms filled with mosquitoes, on asking if we could change we were told the hotel was full (clearly a lie). Not sure about you, but after killing 40 mosquitos and still being attacked during the night it doesn't make you feel good in the morning. Waking up to find no hot water coming out of the tap makes it even worse... To top it all off we were have to put up with Indians who are constantly talking at the top of their voices.... as they do... Overall the rooms are very tired, never cleaned properly, showing their age and poorly maintained in the true Thai tradition

The hotel has nice spacious gardens and pool.Rooms are average,reception and restaurant are not enclosed within the hotel but are open..no walls,can make the public areas hot at times and attract birds into the restaurant.The location is in Northern Pattaya,a 10 to 15 minute walk from the beach.Breakfast could be better.It's ok if you can get a decent deal,swimming pool and gardens well maintained and clean.

Stayed in hotel for 3 nights, rooms are average, bathrooms are just Ok.. Breakfast has a good variety but not for Indian food lovers. Accessibility to city area is good. You can get a tuk-tuk outside hotel.

Whenever I review hotels, I do in a pretty positive state of mind, always on the lookout for plus points. However, while reviewing this hotel, I run into a lot of difficulties. Let me look at some positive features. The property is located in the northern part of Pattaya, not very far from the beach. However, this is NOT a beach hotel with no access to sea or beaches. It has a spacious, but open lobby. Interestingly the lobby has more benches to sleep (This is quite interesting; I will come to this later on) than seats to relax. The rooms are in three floors - ground, first and second, located around a pool with relatively green areas. The sad story starts from here. In spite of my being very polite and maintaining my composure at all times, the reception staff were plain rude with their words and hostile body language. They simply discourage you from approaching them for any support or facilitation, barely remembering that they are in hospitality industry where the client is always right. The hotel has a very clever, unethical and mischievous way of exploiting the guests. I had personally observed that more than fifty per cent of the guests checking out on any day, do check out before 9am, so as to travel to Bangkok, often to catch flights. This being the case, the guests who are checking in on any day are deliberately asked to wait at reception (now you know the secret of benches in the lobby) until after 2.30pm. The hotel reception will coolly tell you that in case you want to check in before 2.00pm, you could do so by paying an extra amount of 700 Thai Bhat. What an innovative way to dispossess guests of their hard earned money! Every day, we used to see at least 20-30 people waiting at the reception even after 2.00pm. These are the people who have traveled long distances and have reached Pattaya early in the morning. I just could not stomach this injustice. The rooms were ordinary, even if they are superior or deluxe. On one day, I could spot at least two fat cockroaches and some families of lizards in the room. Instead of providing an additional bed (as indicated in the reservation), they provide you with an atrociously uncomfortable mattress on the floor. Terrible indeed. The bathroom is nothing to write home about, with atrocious plumbing. When you return to the hotel every day at 2pm, you expect the housekeeping staff to have completed their work. But not in this hotel; they start their work only after 2pm!! The breakfast served at the hotel was of very poor quality and some of the items were plain stale. On two days at least I could spot two sparrows within the confined space of the restaurant where breakfast is served. However, the staff do nothing to drive away the birds. The birds happily keep munching at the otherwise inedible stuff! The hotel keeps two bottles (glass bottles) of water every day; even if you want an extra bottle on payment, you are rudely spoken to. When you check out, the reception will not send you someone to collect the luggage. They will insist that you come to the reception and personally hand over the electronic key and only then they will send someone to fetch your baggage, that too after half an hour and by then your coach would have left without you. On the whole, it is best to avoid this hotel at all costs. And for me, I will never even walk in the direction of this hotel, leave alone staying here.

Being an avid traveller, I have seen the best and the worst hotels possible. This hotel is in the latter category, especially if you are Indian. I don't even know where to start with the list of cons and more cons. Terrible service from the minute we 'tried' to check in. No check in before 1400hrs, even if more than half of the so called hotel is empty. Terrible breakfast items. Only the croissants were edible, rest of it seemed old and recycled. DONT even get me started on the quality of the other food items offered in the breakfast buffet. The so called fresh omelette was stinking of pungent old oil. Tolerable rooms, but there was nothing superior about our room. It was small and stinky. Terrible bathrooms with terrible faucets and fittings.BEWARE of their faulty plumbing, while taking a bath suddenly the hot water turns very cold, and oscillates back to even hotter water. Dont let kids Alone in the bathroom. The extra bed given to us in our so called superior room had coils sticking out of it, I somehow managed to save my back :( Don't even think of asking for even 1 extra pouch of dairy whitener or any such thing. You will be asked a million questions and still wont be given that single pouch. You won't get a single, and I mean a single item even after requesting for it several times. Upon requesting for travel assistance at the main reception, we were rudely asked to go as they don't entertain such questions. There are MUCH BETTER places to stay at Pattaya at much better prices. Don't waste your money folks ! I travelled here with my parents and a toddler. Needless to say its very VERY non child friendly too.

I stayed in this property for four nights while in Pattaya, and it was a decent stay. At the time of check-in, the staff seemed to be a bit frustrated whatever the reason was but I didn't bother to ask. The rooms (if you don't go by a tour operator) will be given to you strictly only at 2PM (check-in time) so you can leave your bags in the waiting hall and explore the city till that time. The rooms are again, decent - if you get a pool view then great, else the balconies are pretty useless. The wooden furniture looked old, and the minibar has 2 types of beers and water bottles only - nothing else (I was disappointed). The bathroom offers soap, shower caps, shampoo and body wash, no free toothpaste or toothbrush. Their breakfast is American but since a lot of Indians stay in the property they make two dishes that they alternate on a daily basis - Upma and Poha (both are extremely terrible). For vegetarians the choices automatically dwindle and you'll have to make do with probably baked beans, spaghetti, bread and fruits. You can't help it - travelers cannot expect a full fledged Indian menu every time we visit a foreign country! The hotel is located on Dolphin Monument circle, and you can easily catch a tuk-tuk from there to Beach Road, Walking Street or even Sanctuary of Truth (very cheap - 20-40 THB per person). All in all, it was a decent stay.

I reached here on 27th may, 2017...the staff needs to be trained on Hospitality. If you are an indian, then god help you...the rooms A/c does not cool down the room. Can you imagine there was no water for sometime in the room in the morning. There was a particular person at reception she was rude during the check in process...imagine you reach early and same time a foreigner (white)also reaches same time..he is given room, but you (Indian) need to wait...such discrimination.. check in time at 2...at the reception I heard many complaints such as Unnecessary billing for water, ac not working ...breakfast is just average...nothing worth talking about. The reception area looks nice..but the hospitality is just terrible...would seriously advise every Indian to see other places to stay. The location of the hotel is ok..with restaurants around...the rooms are below average not as projected in their photographs. The in room phones don't work..
