This is second time i book room on a Sawasdee hotel... I book this hotel because of the pool and location.. but something went wrong.. i was relocated to Beachroad/Soi 10 to Sawasdee Seaview.. but no pool... But they atleast give a small upgrade on the room... but all in all was a great holiday
Considering how cheap it is, this hotel isn’t bad at all. Rooms are big, comfortable and cleaned every day. It has a nice swimming pool outside and is in a great location. Staff leave you alone but are there if you need them. A satisfying stay here.
I live just outside Pattaya and came here for a few days in town. I have stayed often at Sawasdee hotels and know it is a budget chain. After living in Thailand for a while I am used to the service levels in Thai budget hotels. I did like the hotel but just had a totally stupid experience at the pool. I went swimming in the morning and was given a towel at the office in the restaurant. I left the pool and was tempted to take the towel to my room for later but I had read a sign saying 'do not remove towels from the pool area-fine 1000 baht'. Later I wanted to go for another swim and the young girl at the desk rudely said "Only one towel a day". I thought she was joking and when I asked her if she was serious she rudely looked away. If you stay here make sure you only go swimming once a day. If I want to be talked to rudely I'd talk to my wife-not a young girl who is young enough to be my daughter and only has a job because idiots like me stay at her cheap hotel. There are so many cheap hotels in Pattaya there is no point putting up with bad treatment. Next time I'll stay at one of the Eastinny hotels- much friendlier and nicer environment. I just thought this time I would like to stay on Soi Bukhao instead of the beach but not again.
Love the location love the hotel love the staff simply superb going back on September can't wait 😊 it's a hotel that gives u everything . Breakfast is good hotel clean and the staff always wanna help which u don't get that everywhere
Located at the heart of Pattaya City, this one is a few minutes walk from the beach. The staff members are hospitable and the atmosphere is great. Complimentary Breakfast between 7 & 11 every morning. Electronic Locker facility at every room available. Mind you Thai people are very punctual so you better be too. Come and leave as you please...No problems on that. There's a local travel agent just outside the hotel premises: THANDA TOURS & TRAVELS. They are very hospitable folk and you're surely not to be dissapointed. Photos attached are of the view from my room.
The only thing can say about this place is that they are in good location ( SOI BOKHAU )and the have swimming pool in center of town . As for the rest it's shame to waste words !!!!! BAD STAFF , bad rooms , bad breakfast , NOT CLEAN , BUT ALL THIS IS FAIR FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY , this is what you call RIGHT VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!
A lot of the hotels in Pattaya are older vintage hotels like this one. I was only able to stay one night and it was typically 'tired.' Definitely not to the standards required in say North America but typical for SE Asia. The hotel is a bit larger so the breakfast was a bit more varied and reasonable. I notice some of the other reviews complained about the Russian men and cold breakfasts, it is tourist season in SE Asia in a low priced hotel. That is what you get. I think I got an upgraded larger room so I was quite happy with it for the price I got it for. I would say it is a reasonable hotel for the area and price.
I stayed last year and the one thing they could do much better is keeping the food hot at breakfast time. At one point a fresh tray of eggs was brought out of the kitchen and put straight into their device for keeping them warm. I went straight up to get a fresh hot egg. it was stone cold. I realised at that point that they were making food in the kitchen and it was going cold in the kitchen rather than being put into the devices that keep it warm straight away. I have read many reviews for this hotel on many sites and one thing that gets mentioned a lot is that the food is not hot enough. It's a mystery to me that the hotel hasn't picked up on this and sorted it out because I'm certain the company will take notice of what is said on sites like this. Apart from that the hotel is fine. The pool is ok, the rooms are ok, and the cleaning maids are excellent.
Very poor hotel. Pool closes at 6. All day there is not enough chairs because it is full of the old men that go drinking all night. Cant bring any fruit or anything in pool . The room safe didnt work so I went to front desk and was told that those safes are safe . More better keep money down at front desk. Well how about all our other things like headphones and cameras and phones, wasn't room in little safe at front desk. Everything about hotel is not good. Room stank of cigarettes smoke. At night drunks yelling in the halls and rooms
When I visited the Pattaya on December for my vacation with my family. The hotel that I was chose to stay because the purple color on building theme I liked and swimming pool is attractive. But I faced the problem while I stay there, I booked for a room with bathtub and included with Breakfast as a superior but I get a room without bathtub and they don't want to give us the breakfast complimentary. And then when I check out the room, I called to reception counter and said "we'll check out please" , the receptionist replied back "if you want to check out you come down". Oh my god, is that a professional service??? i'm so disappointed their service.
