I know they say 'you get what you pay for' but on this occasion I wish I hadn't even spent anything on this hotel! Staff are really rude and unhelpful! We have a 2 year old who was violently ill one night so we asked reception if there was a way we could have a spare towel and sheet and they refused so we all slept with no covers! Not impressed with the service! Only good thing was the location, perfect as in central Pattaya!
(1) NO ELEVATOR. Why isn't this being mentioned? The lobby is one floor above ground level and the floors start from there. There is NO elevator. Oh, the lobby collected payment BEFORE she told me that--smart! (2) ROOM--nice and big w/wifi & Al Jazeera & Fox News (?!!!) but who's going to visit you? There is no elevator! (3) #409 is FiVE STORiES up. I can't believe this building has NO ELEVATOR. (4) 500 Baht DEPOSiT. They will NOT refund you your deposit w/out the receipt.
The front desk staff are very rude and the pictures they present online are very misleading. The furniture in our room was the same as the pictures, but very beat up and/or falling apart, and the bathroom was dirty, with mold and loose tiles. Also, the claim they are a 5 minute walk from the beach is an outright lie. The walk takes at least 15 minutes, requires crossing a busy street with no traffic control, and the location is in an alley filled with prostitutes. The staff also charged 200 baht because "our towels were dirty" even though the dirt came only from their own dirty floors.
fithy rooms , bed and showers, more like calcutta than pattaya. very rude cheeky staff ,staff at reception blamed me on stealing a plastic coat hanger from room and i was made to pay for it, they even checked my bag ( dear god ) food was cold basic and un eatable infact really discusting no WIFI check more better around this place is the pits
I booked a room in Sawasdee Sabai for 2 days on a holiday trip but the hotel staff is very rude and rooms are very old and badly maintained. Since hotel is near beach road lots of people stay there to get girls and it was very unpleasantness stay with family. certainly not recommended for family.
Room was ok with decent AC and comfortable beds. Breakfast had limited menu but that is acceptable for the price range. They provide 500ml of water per room per day. Room had an electric kettle refrigerator and hair drier. Internet was available as well. Staff were not too friendly though. But the big draw back is that the hotel lacks a lift, and no one was available for carrying the bags down during checkout. Overall a good hotel considering the location, and prices.
Paid for extra bed (for 3 nights) and was given thin mattress on a foldable bed. Could feel the metal rod of the bed frame under the mattress. Cant sleep the whole night. Decided to look for other hotel after a night stay though we paid for 3 nights. Seems like the room is not sound proof. Could hear people walking down/up the stairs and along corridor. The noise is more audible at night when you are trying to sleep at night. The room was dirty when we checked in and need to ask for another round of room cleaning. Location is good. Minutes away from beach (but I wont recommend swimming there) and malls.
They advise with free wifi but what use is wifi if the internet connected to the wifi doesn't work most of the time? The routers are 10 years old at least.. The routers should have been replaced years ago because in my room i get better signal from nearby hotels then i get from the one im staying at! And because there is only one router on each floor, half the rooms don't get signal. The rooms dont have much power sockets. The tv is good and the free breakfast is very good and staff is friendly. Only improve the wifi then this place is way better..
Stayed there with my wife for 2 days.. Good price, clean hotel, quite a big room, walking distance to pattaya beach.. can't complaint... At first room entry, a little smell (like an 'old room' smell) in the room, but not a big problem. You open the window, and it's gone. Wifi worked fine, there's a small desk of tour and travel information with a nice old man, we rent a scooter there for a price of 200baht, 24 hours. And we took a taxi to bangkok from him as well, with the price of 1000baht. Overall, it's nice.. just nice I recommend....!!
Stayed here 1 night. 5 mins walk to the beach. The bed is comfy and room looks clean but this place is old looking. It doesnt have a lift so bit tiring if you are in higher floors. The breakfast (Included in room price) was a buffet with fried rice, noodles, tempered sausages, fruits, juice etc. Good breakfast. If not included in room price get it for 99 baht. I would stay here again.
