We watched from the living room overlooking pool as a storm come in, dropping the temperature to a delightful 25 degrees. Rooms are attractive and colorful, well laid out. We normally stay at the Grand Hotel of the Royal Cliff Resort and were so surprised rooms at the Beach Hotel were just as good, perhaps even better. Pools are a bit congested and umbrellas are insufficient for the big bad sun in Pattaya. So go to the pools below the Grand, which are large and uniquely designed offering the best views. Check in staff are superbly mannered, aptly handling all sorts if different guests flawlessly.
I am impressed in all staff members, they are hospitality politely and kindness , all environment here soooo gooood. This is the place that you can find peace, relaxed and enjoy sunset wz your lover or your family..not far from bkk tooo!!! I love this place and will be back again...
The room (mini-suite) looked like a room from a Hilton in the nineties, probably the time hen the hotel was built. It was OK although it looked its age. Only the airco was terrible: even in the lowest gear, it produced ice cold air, so we had to switch it off at night. Same comment for the Terrace restaurant: it was freezing cold. Other than that, the pools were great, and so was the view and the restaurant by the sea, the Briseo. Our package, booked via Hotels.com didn't include breakfast which was a bit too expensive to our taste: around 750THB,so we had room service which was good and pretty fast. The location is very nice, and you really don't have the impression you're in a sin city at all.
I was there with a group from the 4th July to the 6th July 2017 and the stay here was amazing. A beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the sea. This is a must stay hotel as it has everything you can ask for luxury, great view, amazing service and spread during breakfast is just superb. There are basically two blocks and both of them have great views of the sea and the pools. There are 4 swimming pools and one an infinity pool which overlooks the sea. Each of the pool is well maintained and sizes are quite big. The rooms we stayed were quite big and the beds are clean and comfortable it has all the amenities one can ask for. My room had a sofa which you can almost drown in comfort. The bathroom has a tub and the showerhead pressure is very good. Compared to the room size the bathroom was little small it had a sliding door that had no lock so if you are staying with a room mate who is sleeping when you are inside he'd better be aware you are using it especially when you are on the throne. It also has window shades that have a gap so that I felt was a downer as privacy is a bit compromised. The lighting in there is dull I prefer more brightness while shaving. The toiletries were all in place so no complaints on that. This has a huge business halls/ convention centre in its premises which easily accommodated 230 people that was away from the hotel wherein we had hosted a party followed by cocktail dinner. I would like to thank Ms.Widyati Jatin, Events Manager for her excellent help in overseeing the meet which went without a hitch. Her entire team worked with a drill like precision there was never a slack in the serving be it the liquor or the accompaniments. She is a true asset to this hotel. Her warm smile and never say no attitude to get things organised was a great help. The food served was extremely good and the Lamb gravy was out of the world. The food was replenished without a break and all our guests were quite pleased. Talking about food I would like to mention that the breakfast spread had left us spoilt for choice. It was just not the variety but also tasty. This is a great place to hold any business meets, weddings as the convention centre is away from the main hotel buildings so the rest of the guests are not disturbed. If you are looking for a cozy and tranquillity then this is a place tailor made for you. The balance of greenery and a picture perfect blue sea is awesome. The property is huge away from the road and very close to the pier from where one could take a speedboat to Coral Islands and in case you would like to be amidst the hustle and bustle of entertainment then Walking Street is also close by. A must stay property as hospitality and warmth of this hotel is out of the ordinary.
Stayed for a day, superb location with outstanding view ,but the room quality does not live upto expectations. Very well built hotel on split levels for the pool, coffee shop right at the beach, but sadly the rooms and food give it all away. If the rooms and food can be improved it would make it an outstanding place for a vacation, hope they will work on it. The Indian restaurant was very good but the Indian spread on the buffet breakfast was very bad, needs to be worked on.
It takes about 10 minutes from Royal Cliff to walking street(downtown). It's not too far for the people who wanna have crazy nights in Pattaya and still want some peace. The infinity pool is stunning especially when the sunset comes out. Hotel staff are all nice and kind. One of the Thai restaurant in the grand hotel is amazing. The food is great. The breakfast (room service) was good as well. The only con might be the hotel is tooooooo big you couldn't finish exploring it during your stay haha.
Hotel Grand Royal Cliff Pattaya has a good sightseeing and big hotel. I stayed in a Grand Sea View room 2 night . It is a big room but a room is rather old. Hotel breakfast is normal, but no bacon in the breakfast.
The location of Royal Cliff Beach is not so close to the hustle & bustle Beach Road or Walking Street, but it does give a wonderful serenity during our stay in Pattaya. The infinity pool at Royal Cliff Beach gives an amazing view of the ocean and a bit of city view at night. SPA here is not cheap but it's a sensation.
We came to this hotel from several countries to take part in a charity tennis tournament - the proceeds of which were donated to the Pattaya Orphanage. 60 of us had arrived from Germany, Switzerland, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, USA and many more. The hotel room I had was a mini suite and it was more than big enough. The room was comfortable and the aircon did its job especially well considering it was 38 degrees outside. Ask for a room overlooking the sea or better still, the pool. The breakfast served was incredible. So many different dishes from so many parts of the world. I could have had a full English one day.. and Indian dosa the next...fruit on day 3 etc etc. It was amazing and I felt truly content. The staff are also very helpful and very kind. Learn to say thank you.. and hello.. and goodbye in Thai. We ate at the Thai restaurant in the Hotel - the food was great if you are a fan of green or red thai curry, you will find it hard to beat this one. Also.. try the Mango Shake .. its not made with milk.. its frozen mango juice and it is wow. The hotel bars also serve a gin cocktail in a coconut. I can't remember the name of it but you can get them during the 5-7pm happy hour. The golf buggy took us to the sports area each day - we played tennis on courts that are made from the same surface as that used in the Australian Open. Great playability - but because of the high temperatures, the ball does bounce higher than normal. Towels are provided and so is water. You can even order lunch there (i recommend the chicken fried rice or fish fingers. Some evenings were spent in Pattaya. Once you are outside the hotel, You can ask the golf buggy to take you to the security gate where you can get a tuktuk. There is one guy that insists on over charging. 10 of us went in 1 tuk tuk and we paid 250 TB. sometimes even 200 TB. Negotiate hard.. because this one guy thinks he has the monopoly on the route. We enjoyed foot massages (they do the full leg) for 1 hour for the equivalent of 5 pounds. Look for the places where the staff are smiling and happy. It means that you will well looked after. The place we liked best was green and white on the outside. There are two... its the second one as you walk away from the entrance of walking street on the side where you have the sea. I love this place. I hope our group comes back again. We may be in Malaysia next year - as chairman of my tennis club, I don't mind either venue. This hotel has great value and it's away from the noise of the main town centre. The view of thunder and lightning in the distance at night is also a sight to see.. see my pics Thank you to all the staff at Royal Cliff, you are wonderful people.
We stayed their for 3 Nights with a group of 120 pax. Hotel Location is the best part of our stay their, beautifully located on the beach side. Spacious Rooms with an excellent Sea View. Hotel Facilities are very good. Indian Food at this hotel is the most delicious food we had in Pattaya. Staff has to be trained in English, as this was the difficult part for us to make them understand our requirements. The Overall experience was out of the World.
