I stayed 5 nights at this hotel in August and I'm not totally convinced about its quality and services. The property was basically fully booked, and most of our nights were very noisy, with people shouting in the corridors or making a lot of activity in their rooms. The breakfast was quite chaotic, because the room was always full. Very noisy, with people desperately grabbing all the food fearing it'd be over. I didn't find the staff very friendly. Everytime we asked them a favor, they would show an unhappy face - like heating our baby's food in microwave. The restaurants' menus don't have much variety, and it seems they are pretty much the same regardless the restaurant you choose. The swimming pools are quite good. If I go back to Pattaya area, I wouldn't be staying here again. I found it too noisy for some relaxing holidays. It's not really what I expected to find.
Been there on last August. This hotel is located on Na Jomtien, 15-20 mins away from Pattaya. Lovely 3 swimming pools. Kids loved them so much, especially the pool near the beach. Many facilities in there Kids club, Spa, fitness. The food was good, Reva beach, we ordered "Fish&Chips" and "Phad Kaprao Goong" a bit spicy and Yummy. For the breakfast room is good, varieties of food. One of the hotel list in our good memorable for kids.
We were visiting from US and stayed for 3 nights . Not sure how this hotel can even get 3 star reviews. Here are biggest drawbacks tourist from Europe or America will face: Note - Throw away all the expectations you have from a 4 star and consider this as 2 star in all respects except few. 1. Lack of english speaking front desk. They barely understood anything and were of no help when it comes to getting taxis, or finding about good tourist spots or anything else. All they can do is allot you a room and change if you do not like it. The only plus is they are down to earth and do try to help. However, they have no local knowledge. 2. The only place you get AC is your room and one common restaurant. Entire hotel is non-AC and you will be toasted if you go anytime other than winter. walking from Reception to room itself can become very sweaty. 3. None of the rooms face the beach. They all face each other. The rooms are very very old and the owner seems to be very frugal and not put in any money on updating any furniture. I have seen 5x times better furniture in even 2nd grade hotels. This is supposed to be 4 star. 4. Beach is completely useless with very dirty water. I did not see a single person in the water for the whole 3 days I was there. It is more like sea shore than any beach. 5. and the biggest drawback of this hotel is it is very very far from all the other beaches, attractions and tourist spots. we ended up spending between 200-500 bhats anytime we stepped out of this hotel and to go anywhere. That $$$ money adds up and you are better paying that extra money on hotel in north Pattaya. No wonder this hotel was more than 50% empty even on weekend. The only silver lining in this hotel was that staff was nice in nature and also swimming pool is clean(although only 4 feet max. so more for relaxing than swimming). I booked after reading all positive reviews. But it was very disappointing and my Thailand visit turned out to be frustrating because of this hotel drawbacks.
Such an amazing trip with my family. Khun Kann (Front office manager)and his crew went above my expectation. The family suite where connecting with a twin bed room answered all my needed since the booking was made direct through the hotel and the helps/offered from Khun Kann easily made me say yes to this hotel. The rooms has all amenities you need, clean and neat. Wi-fi connection gave me the fastest speed /different from other hotels around Pattaya. The pool was large and the unforgettable must be the breakfast!! Varieties of food and the test is absolutely great. Special thanks to Khun Nantaka the receptionist who escorted us to the room. Keep that smile because you blew my tiredness away :)
We stayed in July 2017 in a pool villa, which I highly recommend you have significant privacy plus room is beautiful, loads of space. The front staffs were all extremely pleasant and courteous in every way. We did not any bad experience, but the speed of wifi is a lit bit slow.
I would be very negative regarding this property as I expected 5 * hotel and services. The hotel is old and deserve not more than 4. You can get much better for this value in Pattaya area. Jontiem is still a good choice for families.
I find that most resorts are very similar in the way they are built, the amenities offered and the décor. How I find how resorts can distinguish themselves from their competitors are their customer service and the quality of their food. Unfortunately, Ravindra Beach Resort & Spa fails in both those areas. I requested a change in towels as the originals one had an odd smell to them. I also requested additional water. I left the hotel for about 5 hours to return to find that both of my requests were not fulfilled. Also, both key cards did not work so I had to get someone to let me into the room. I was told that someone would bring replacements. I waited until the next morning and to my surprise, no new key cards. Luckily, they still worked in the room to turn on the lights, etc. Very disappointed that both promises were not kept. There is a large number of parking spaces if you do drive there. If you need to go into downtown Pattaya, a shuttle is offered for 80 baht. The breakfast buffet looked quite similar to what other hotels offer but the food was average at best. The selection of cooked foods was disappointing. The room was quite large as well as the washroom. The décor was quite old but it was fine for me. The bed was soft but was till comfortable for me. The water pressure in the shower was a little weaker than what I prefer and the water changed from hot to cold and vice versa in the shower. Wi-Fi was free and was average in terms of speed. There were about 75 tv channels to choose from on a smaller than your average tv in other hotels. The gym is well equipped with free weights and exercise machines. The beach was quite clean and well maintained. Overall, the resort has a nice ambience and is well maintained but it was lacking in it's customer service.
The hotel grounds, facilities and room are kept very clean and are well maintained. During our stay the resort seemed fully booked at night but more or less empty during the day. The staff is very friendly and offer good service. Wifi connection isn't that great. Flyers in the hotel room offer payed wifi, with higher speeds, but the staff doesn't seem to know about this(?) After showing them the flyer, they provided me a login and a password for free, but it was just as bad as the free wifi. The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet, with a wide variety of western and asian food. The resort is located at a 20min drive (by hotel shuttle bus or local transportation) from Pattaya center. As a family we liked walking around in Pattaya, but were glad the resort was not located there -we didn't book the hotel ourselves. With the 3 pools and palmtree covered beach the resort is an ideal place for families with young children to relax.
Overall the place was nice, clean, well kept. good breakfast and swimminpool. The only problem was at check in on a busy Friday where they offer us twin room when we booked for double bed and confirmed by phone. After a while and upon our initiative they finally offer us a double room.
I spent 2 nights in Ravindra with my wife and it's totally worth my vacation. Room are very spacious and clean. Couple will surely enjoy the see-thru bathroom with seperate shower and bath tub. The in-room amenities are good. Pools are the highlight. They are massive with nicely designed surrounding and plenty wooden loungers. We ended up spending whole day there. Beach is private!! Sand is nice and clean. Sea is enjoyable. Wide range of food for breakfast. They are freshly made and taste good. Lastly, I would very much like to compliment all the staffs for their friendliness and attentiveness. The service is at its best.
