The resort is complete service , but when the quality of restaurants are low , only the breakfast is amazing buffet. Big pools good for baby , room clean , beach quite ,price ok .Spa no professional and staff need improve the standard . My suggestion 2/3 night is very good solution
As a weekend break from Bangkok this was perfect. Staff were brilliant throughout, food was great, pools were perfect for children and adults and the location made a wander along the beach an activity in itself. Great value for such a great hotel.
The resort is very nice and we had a wonderful stay. Three pools and the easy access to the beach create a great ambiance. There are some small food places on the beach with a great variety of local dishes which are very reasonably priced. The breakfast was very good too and the rooms are functional and well appointed. The staff were pleasant and willing to help with any questions, although at times they could have been more helpful with advice on how to get around and where to go etc. They leave you to discover the challenges of getting around in Pattaya, which can be difficult at times. Still a great place and we hope to be back there soon!
The resort is very good with nice pool and beach , the room space is good and you can enjoy your special balcony and the staff was friendly. But front main gate for resort there are gang Control the transportation and the taxi , What happened to me I was stop front of main gate of the hotel waiting for taxi , A member of the gang offer me very high price for my trip and rejected his offer because I know the price very well . I kept waiting for other taxi When another taxi came and I rode with him, they grabbed the door of the car and prevented the taxi from moving and threatened him if he move , Then I went to inside of the resort to ask for a taxi to get rid of them I mean the gang , The strange thing is that at the gate of the hotel one of the gang members stopped the new taxi driver Because we are with him and the customers of this region are for them only even With I had requested a taxi from inside the resort!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I feel sorry to mention the above story but it's true , and I hope it do not repeat with anyone in future Because the hotel is beautiful and sophisticated and deserves the best .
We came for a quick break from Bangkok, all looked nice on website ... however, we discovered: (1) The main restaurant closed for a Russian Orthodox Christmas party (all spoken in Russian) so we had to leave the resort to find a NICE beachside restaurant. (2) The advertise cable TV ... but no English spoken news, ie; no CNN, BBC, FOX etc ... but the have Russian! ... and even worse, they blame the cable company! (3) Paid the 1,500 thai baht extra for late check out, yesterday in advance ... we returned from the pool to find ourselves LOCKED OUT of our room, cause they ‘forgot’ to note our prepaid late check out. (4) COFFEE ... is not the best in Thailand, but this place wins the worst coffee prize! ... when I asked if the free percolated coffee was the only one, they said yes. I make better simple Plunger coffee at home in Sydney! ... I only was told as we checked out that they have real coffee is another outlet. IN SUMMARY - AVOID THIS RESORT, unless your Russian!
We spent 3 nights at Ravindra. Positive: nice propriety with 3 big pools, beach with palm trees for shade, big and spotless room, good buffet for breakfast Negative: staff does not speak english (not even at reception), service at the 2 restaurants is the slowest I have experienced worldwide with waiting times of up to 1,5h (!), cold food, and each person got their plates individually in intervals of about 20 minutes. The worst was when after having waited 1 hour we were informed that they ran out of fish... my advice: go and eat outside unless you want to spend your holidays waiting for food. WiFi is very weak and you need to login at least 20 to 30 times a day. You better learn the login and password by heart very fast unless to get crazy. Overall I cannot understand the 5* rating of this hotel in comparison to top notch 5* in Asia.
Really nice location on the ocean, terrific pool area with nice restaurant (although the service wasn’t great). Lovely rooms with nice bath and comfy beds. Breakfast was really good with a huge selection. Friendly staff throughout.
We booked this place thru hotels.com and very happy with the place. Location: it's on the outskirts of Pattaya so if you wanna avoid the rush and don't want to do late nights in Pattaya for nocturnal activities then this place is clearly a good to go. Bang on the beach , almost white sands , private beach. It's on the main hi way towards Bangkok. Property: it has a nice resort kinda lobby unlike the typical high rise ones. Very good staff. Unique thing is that they have 2 swimming pools ,one infinity next to the beach and one large one which can be viewed from almost all rooms . So well designed property. Has kids area, restaurant and a bar as well. Has. Nice restaurant bang on the beach so you may chill right there. Rooms: fantastic spacious rooms with a balcony. Very well maintained and luxurious. My room looked onto the pool and also had thick green cover around it . So felt quaint and nice. Price : we paid around 8000Baht for 2 nights excluding breakfast. But would suggest for most travellers to bug the breakfast as well unless you are Indian. TIP: They dont have a good Indian spread . If you don't pre book then u have to buy the breakfast at 350baht per head. So take a call accordingly Service/staff : very good staff and service overall . Housekeeping was very efficient. Overall a great place to go for sure. TIP: it's about 40 min s and 60 km from Pattaya city. It has restaurants right opposite it's gates. Also has a 7/11 and a pharmacy just outside so it comes very handy.
This is my third staying at Ravindra and it was the best. I decided to try their “Private Romantic Dinner” package (est. $150 for a couple). It was so worth it. The crews set up your ONLY dinning table on the beach. The full course dinner with Champaign were brought to you from the nearby kitchen. The whole course was excellent. I encouraged this package any couple wants to impress your partner romantically. The return was so priceless. On top of that you still have friendly crews, excellent room with gigantic swimming pools with easy access in front of your room. Massive variety choices for your breakfast. Private beach that you could practice Yoga with the breeze from the ocean. Last but not least, their C-Thru bathroom that made this staying very sexy. Please review my pictures. They speak more than thousand words. Definitely, will be back again.
We really enjoyed our time at the Ravindra Beach Resort Jomtien to the fullest. The staff was always very helpful, the resort very well tended. Thanks to direct booking we received some very generous benefits like free massages, F&B discounts as well as a massive upgrade. That is the right way! Thank you so much. We loved every one of the 3/4 pools and the great private beach. As a family make sure to book the family suite - it is well worth the extra! The resort is a short distance away from restaurants other than the hotel's own and needs either walking at the beach or the heavily busy road. Not ideal for families with small kids or toddlers but doable for everyone else. The hotel restaurant serves excellent Thai food without compromises. Western dishes are just as well available. However we personally would have loved a bigger choice of the Thai food, being on Thailand. There are a lot of Russians yes, but with the resort being a 5 star these guests were very comfortable to be around. Friendly, polite, family people. Highly recommendable! Loved the Loi Krathong festival!
