I spent 2 nights in Ravindra with my wife and it's totally worth my vacation. Room are very spacious and clean. Couple will surely enjoy the see-thru bathroom with seperate shower and bath tub. The in-room amenities are good. Pools are the highlight. They are massive with nicely designed surrounding and plenty wooden loungers. We ended up spending whole day there. Beach is private!! Sand is nice and clean. Sea is enjoyable. Wide range of food for breakfast. They are freshly made and taste good. Lastly, I would very much like to compliment all the staffs for their friendliness and attentiveness. The service is at its best.
The Ballroom used for seminar has large space. 2xx office staffs occupied the reef restaurant with a bit suffered service with not enough food and drinking water even water for coffee break. I got into the room in the evening. My room was on the 1st floor and standardly clean with pool side view. Buffet and staffs were the best things.
I came to stay at this hotel on a company's outing trip, so I didn't know about the exact room rate but I ended up paying around THB 4,000+ for 2 nights. This hotel is just on average, in my opinion. There were enough in-room amenities although the air-con in my room didn't seem to function very well as the room was still a bit hot when the temp was set at 23 degree Celsius. The room was clean but the furniture looked a bit old. Two great things - 1) in-room internet connection is super fast, and 2) variety of food selections at breakfast buffet.
To start with the positive, this is a spacious resort with all the facilities one would expect at this sort of place. Restaurants, pools, beach, massage, fitness, the works. Basically all very good - and quite pricey too. The reasons I decided on an average rating are: Upon check-in I was told I had only booked one night - where it should've been three. They subsequently sorted it out but I waited a good half our to check-in for no apparent reason. Secondly, they ask for THB150 per day. While this is not much money I find this totally misplaced here, at a so called 5* resort. On top of this - sadly - the WiFi was also exremely slow. I believe their infrastructure is totally outdated. A minor point, but nonetheless, a large part of the pool facilities was closed due to some renovation (maybe). Would I come back again? No - there are plenty of places, one next to eacher other around here.
First impression to enter this hotel is the feeling of large, openness, and the offering of many facilities. The lobby is generous and open to outside air. Beyond the check-in, guests can enter the long corridor of pool and lead your eyes to the beach. Room facilities are 5-storey buildings along both sides when you walk along the pools in middle court. There are 3 big pools offering variety of activities. I can see lots of families and kids around, which is great for a family vacation. I also like the access of public beachfront within the hotel area. When you get to the room, it is a bit disappointing that the decor is almost out of style, old dark wood floor and cabinet. The most disappointment is the wifi, that hotel can offer you for only 2 hours per day and it's such a poor connection. If you are on vacation and need to do work, you will need to bring your own internet. Breakfast in morning offer lots of variety international menu, but nothing is special. When it was peak time for hotel guests to come in, it was so crowded, and there were not too many staff to facilitate. I was there in weekdays with a family to avoid crowds.Even it is not crowded, I still feel that the hotel is really understaffed. Overall, rooms are ok but a bit out of style. Food is ok. Pools and beach is great. Wifi is terrible.
Had to change rooms cause the first one smelled like mildew and the bed was damp. Then found out they charge for their wifi. They will give you 4 hours a day for free--with the complications of having to sign up, use a different pin each time--and you have to pay for the rest. A lot of tour groups taking up parting and the amenities of the hotel. There is no personal touch at this "5*" hotel. Go to Centrara or another resort.
Our first stay at this resonably priced hotel with welcoming staff, great pools and facilities. Our only complaints are that the rooms are feeling a bit old and the ac really smelt of mold. They're also seemed to be quite a problem with small flies around the resort.
Our family had a very good two-night stay at Ravindra Beach Resort & Spa. We opted for the pool villa and was not disappointed. The villa had first-class fixtures and amenities, was super close to the beach and hotel pool and had a lovely villa pool with turquoise tiles all our own. It also came with a small pantry area and two refrigerators. It was probably the best value-for-money pool villa I had ever stayed in. The resort itself has a good layout, with a pool running straight down the middle of the grounds between two hotel buildings. The lobby was airy and spacious. The dining area was okay, with many people congregating at breakfast. I liked the numerous shady trees planted. And the private beach was just superb. You can lie on a lounge chair all day there. Food was not the best out there but more than met our needs for snacks. Being so removed from local shops makes it essential for Ravindra to have very good dining. It came up a bit short on that front, but the food was inexpensive, which was a plus. Our weekend stay was punctuated by plenty of Thai and Russian tourists and even a Chinese TV crew. It can get noisy with all the kids playing and wailing, but that is by no means a strike against the resort. The staff tried very hard to ensure disturbances were kept to a minimum. The front desk seemed overworked and check out was slow but the staff was very patient with everything that happened. In short, Ravindra is just a nice place to stay in Chon Buri. Forget the rowdy vibe of Pattaya and migrate here instead.
This resort is a very peaceful place to stay well out of the metropolis of Pattaya. It has a very nice beach and relaxing surrounds. It is not too far from Pattaya if you want to take a taxi into the city. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay
This is our second time in Ravindra. We stayed in many hotels in Pattaya, but this is the best one for family with kids. It's far from the worst places in Pattaya. If you go to Pattaya, don't stay in the central part or you will be disappointing in Thailand. Go to Jomtien part, where is nice and quite. Very good hotel, excellent service. Great place for family. We will be back again.
