Dont ever go to this hotel for stay...very bad or i should say worst experience.. Very bad staff including the receptionist.. Very bad food quality... no co-operative at all... totally money minded and very cheatful people... Very rude and arrogant staff... Not suggesting at all
Travelled between 10th - 14th July 2017, Stayed 2N @ Pattaya Loft, Pattaya, 2N @ Bangkok city., hotel Ecotel People here in Thai have ABSOLUTE NON-COURTEUS behaviour, They are Too pushy, they just show their displeasure in gestures like, for example if they don't understand what you wanted or if they don't have the product you have asked for or decline your bargain price for a product, they simply show you the door with a angry face! They don't bother a damn f__k to you..This something which we never expected from the citizens of Thai. Our tour guide in Bangkok said the two biggest economy for the country is agriculture and tourism. They received around 26Mn tourist last year alone! is this the way the people in hospitality industry are trained?! Or is there a discrimination only for the Indian visitors like us? Starting from the airline staff (AirAsia, deleted the App while I was writing this one,Flying with them dometic is good though) to custom counters at the airport to drivers and guides, hotel staffs everybody were similar..Well they don't even smile... Unfortunately we couldn't find any friendly nature in them apart from few Bangkok city taxi drivers who were funny and made us laugh..The hotel we stayed at Pattaya was Pattaya Loft and Ecotel at Bangkok they are not ordinary lodges..Ofcourse two stars are given for some standards...Places of Interests are good though but in simple words we don't want to come back here ever although this country is beautiful but people involved in tourism business are not.Enjoy travelling if you are ready to face this:) BTW good places to see in Pattaya are Marine Beach area , walking alongside the beach is wonderful, Coral island is so so (If you have been to Goa, this is nothing), Don't do underwater sea walk! Do parasailing. Walking street is a must visit for partying. Dont miss Insomnia and Lucifer here. Don't get scammed by the people showing you inviting postcards., Tiger Park nearby is enjoyable if you are with family and kids or an animal lover, Try the wide spread buffet here for lunch.,In Bangkok Khasaon road is a must visit for Partying and do visit My darling joint for an awestruck low pricing, Lucky bar is also awesome ., Wat Arun, Marble Budda temple, Golden Budda temple are good., Visit Bayoke on 78th Floor for a panaromic view of the city, For shopping MBK and Siam center are good., But 7Eleven shops are fantastic for quick buy and everyday need items along with few exciting toys for children's are also good.,But once billed you can't change mind in replacing those items, they will simply deny your request with a poker face:).Hmmmm seems like We had bad more than good times during our stay..Thank you for reading.
We were a group of 15 people, which they never cared off.. Terrible .. Horrible.. and Rude Staff.. Should not even think of coming to the hotel.. Also, hotel is located in one of the worst location in Pattaya.. There are better and cheaper hotels in Pattaya.. These people always want to loot us only.. putting defective room amenities and then claiming from us. Never come here.. Regard,
If you are visiting in Pattaya dont stay in Pattaya loft or citin loft hotel. Hotel Manager doesnot know how to talk and behave with their guests. Both (rooms and manager) are third class. We booked our room from India but when we reached hotel we came to know that locker as well as washroom door are not working. I requested the manager to change the room as i had paid full amount for the room and its their fault not mine. But the manager talked very rudely with us and didnot changed our room. So we booked another hotel and cancelled this hotel. I suggest Indians not to book this hotel. There are lots of good hotels available in Pattaya with very cheap rates.
I went to Pattaya after a long time and was recommended this hotel by a friend who is a regular here. This is a nice hotel with a great location. Very convenient to get public transport from outside the hotel day or night. Comfortable Bed. Had a good nights sleep.
When we arrived at the loft hotel we were instantly being demanding from us 1000 baht. We had just traveled for over 20 hours and were extremely tired but at reception they were adamant we must give something over. We initially gave over our passport instead and then later came back to change it for the 1000 baht. Around the hotel there are lots of signs saying you will be fined for this fined for that, all of which not very clear and could easily be missed. It might be worth while for them to publish a book instead? We made way to our room which was clean (ish) but really did need a deep clean and the bathroom smelt of sewerage which was not pleasant. We were warned not to drink anything from mini bar as we would be charged despite being told my the member of staff taking us to our room that the water was free it was clear it was not. I ensured I filmed the room before use and after use as there were many reviews referring to extra charges being added when they had not used mini bar etc. We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and it was literally 5 nights of hell. After complaint after complaint we were ignored. Both me and my friend are young females who are traveling Thailand and this hotel would not be recommended for females traveling alone!!!!! The hotel is mainly catered for Indians who storm around the landings, shouting, banging doors at all hours!! I am a laid back person but after getting absolutely no sleep for five nights it becomes a bit of a joke. We constantly made complaints to reception who would often hang up on us or just reply with 'OK'. Only once out of those many times did I hear a member of staff come up the stairs to tell them to stop after I threatened to phone the police. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable all through out our stay here!! Not to mention the sound of the men in the hotel bringing locally paid women back to their rooms and hear the screams from them all night! My friend went down to the pool which was in fact dirty and as a young girl you were made to feel uncomfortable by other guests for sunbathing around there also and did not feel safe at any point while she was down there. We would not even go down to reception alone as we feared for our safety which is not what I expect from a hotel. On our last day we came down to reception to ring regarding our transfer which we could not wait for we returned to our room to find our hotel room door wide open exposing all of our belongings, passport, money and no one around. I straight away phones reception to complain again and my response was ok ma'am. Not even an apology. This hotel is an absolute disgrace and I would not pay for a dog to live in it as a kennel. Stay well away!
The hotel is in good location, walking distance to many restaurants. Rooms are big size and clean. breakfast was ok. service from staff was good. we did not have any problem there. its good for budget travellers.
Not a great place to stay. Staff not friendly or helpful. Room was extremely large and quite comfortable. Could not open or close safe one evening and had to wait until the next day when the Manager was at work for the batteries to be replaced. Breakfast was poor withe limited choice and low quality. Was charged 60% of the day rate for a 6PM check out. Would not stay again.
stayed with friends, we had booked 4 room one month prior, but they allocted rooms on diffrent floors, the staff is rude and doesn't even understand basic English, the pool doesn't have filters and is filthy, and the breakfast buffet is horrible, they have same menu everyday and only one dish for veterinarian and some fruits, and the taste is awful. the view is worst, and parking area and lobby is full of guthkha and tobbaco spits, yuk not recommend for family at all
Staff on reception very rude. They collect 1000 bhat deposit when you checked in and always ready to redeem money from it during check out. Check your room and room's things like bathroom slippers etc during checked in because at the time of check out they ready to cut your deposit money at any reason.
