If you do not have a car or a driver, forget about it. The breakfast is one of the worst breakfast I ever had in a hotel. If you are looking for something quite with a small swimming pool, not bad. The two room suites are pretty old and need maintenance.

The resort is about 15 kms from Pattaya main town. Easily accessible by cabs and tuk tuk. Very courteous staff, there is a pool, restaurant and spa on the property. You can book a villa with a private pool for a group. The rooms have a kitchenette so you can cook your own food if you would like. Overall good.

We booked a house at this place for several days to relax. While the pictures on the booking website promised a well maintained resort, the reality shocked us at the first sight. Actually, I would not call this a resort. Rather it is a gated town house community without meaningful resort features. Cleanliness CAN be an issue here. When we checked in, our apartment was not as clean as expected. When we reported this issue to the reception, the housekeeping team cleaned our apartment while we were on the beach. While the neighbourhood is very sleepy and calm, the nearby beach (about 10 minutes by foot) is not a convincing argument to stay here. Moreover, you really need a car to get here. We did not eat at the restaurant or cook at the apartment but went out every night to tasty seafood restaurants. The rather smallish pools are freezing cold but relatively clean. If you are looking for a reasonably priced base in this area without much thrills and you have your own car, this place is ok.

Stayed here for a long weekend, family with two kids. The place is somewhat inaccessible, unless you come with your own car, which we did. The room we had was a two bedroom jacuzzi suite. It is actually a "townhouse" kind of setup. Living room, kitchen and one toilet downstairs, two double bedrooms upstairs with ensuite bathrooms. Fully air conditioned. 3 TVs, albeit limited english channels and grizzly picture quality. One bathroom has a tub with jets. Our unit was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately countless light bulbs were broken. We used both the balcony and the downstairs terrace. Smoking is Not prohibited. The two pools are adequate and the salas in the garden are comfortable. Food and beverage is bow standards. They did have Happy hour signs advertizing two for one until 20:00, apparently bar closed at 17:00. Breakfast was horrible, but good news is there is an excellent place nearby. Location is good, if you have your own transport. We would come back and actually we enjoyed our stay. Fyi mini bar prices are extremely budget friendly. Can of beer is 40 baht, that is about USD 1.15....

Nice hotel, and not expensive. Little be far from Pattaya city center.10 minutes walking distance to the beach.Outstanding privat accomodation. This was good and we had go back.Highly recommend for all.

Me and my friends ordered a 3 week stay at one of Palm Grove Resorts villas based on their beautiful pictures of the interior and exterior. Within a week into our vacation we started to regret this. Almost daily would there be something for us to fix or ask the resort to sort out. We don't see our selves as picky or upper class residents, but when we rent a high class villa we don't expect to be janitors or servicemen. The once a week cleaning were poor, at one time we received 4 towels with old blood stains on them (not from us). When we confronted the staff and resort manager about this they didn't really seem to care or take our concern seriously. When we ordered additional cleaning (paid extra) for a specific day, they would not come if it were raining outside making them turn up 2 days later than ordered. They would even charge us for cleaning when leaving, even though we were informed this were included in the rent. Power and water cost extra and resulted in an extra 9000 Baht. Only 4 days a week were the pool usable, the other days it was submitted to cleaning with high amounts of chlorine (which irritates the skin and frankly makes the pool unbathable). The main reason for renting a villa were to get a private pool. The villa was infected with ants and cock roaches, we would daily find roaches in both floors even after being informed that the house had been visited by an exterminator. The last day we found a cock roach on the kitchen counter which threw us off from cooking food - even though we would always clean after us after cooking, this didn't seem to help. The WiFi had poor reception, were really slow and hardly usable for entertainment use. It would also stop working for days after a night of rain, and the resort would spend several days trying to fix the problem. The HiFi system in the house didn't work either, simply because of a missing remote control. After trying to explain this to the resort staff we had to give up. The tiles by the swimming pool are dangerously slippery when wet, resulting in an accident with our friend who slipped and fell bad, almost sustaining a dangerous head injury, simply by walking normally from the pool to the house, which is only about a 2 meter stride. There were several electrical and plumbing problems in the house, probably a result of poor craftsmanship. Hot water would last for about 2 minutes before used up, so 6 people were taking cold showers for 3 weeks. One of the sink filters were filled with debris from outside water supply. The old TV in the master bedroom would make strange sounds at night reminding the sound of an electrical short. Probably imminent of a fire at any second. If the lights outside by the garage door were turned on while raining, it would result in huge dangerous sparks. We had no access to the technical room where the fuse box are located, which would make it impossible for us to turn on the lights inside the house if the fuses were to turn off (by electrical error). Downlights would die weekly, making it dark in certain rooms for days because of slow response from the resort staff to change these. All in all I will never come back here and I will not recommend anyone to stay at this resort.

We rented two villas there with a downstairs livingroom and kitchen and two upstairs bedrooms. The rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable and there are 3 TV sets with DVD players. The hot water didn't work and the water pressure was almost too low to take a shower but since this was in the middle of summer the water was warm enough anyway, None of the facilities they advertise, apart from the pools, are available. There is no restaurant or bar and there are not even deckchairs to sit on by the, not very clean beach, There were even two fishing boats up on the beach almost blocking access to the water. The hotel had a restaurant and bar before but everything is closed now. That said, it's located just by Sukhumvit Road so it's in a convenient location if you have a car to get around. There is also a restaurant 200 meters away called Area 41 where they serve western food and good ice cream. You can't eat breakfast there though. We were not aware of this when we checked in but I was fortunate enough to have an international drivers license and we could book a car through the hotel staff.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had one bedroom apartment and a 2 bedroom villa for the duration of the stay. The accommodation was moden and clean with kitchen facilities. The gardens were well kept however the pools were not cleaned daily and the sauna did not work. As the location of this resort is a way out of central Pattaya you do need to have a vehicle to get around. However the biggest let down and business opportunity for this resort is there is no restaurant facility or even a bar for guests, even though they advertise this on the website. You cannot even buy a drink if relaxing by the pool. Shops are a short walk however on a very busy road. The receptionists were also not very knowledgable on the local area or providing information on the facilities on the beach. the beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and is very quite, relaxing and much nicer than the main Pattaya beach, we spent most of our days chiling here. There is a thai family who provide drinks and seafood snacks, also at certain times of the day a little icecream scooter arrives you are better provided here then at the hotel. I would not stay here again due to the limited facilities however if you are exploring around and have your own vehicle this may be sufficient.

This is the second time I stayed at Palm Groves, both I've stayed in 3 Bed Rooms Pool Villa. This place is a bit further down from Pattaya Tai (South Pattaya) but it's great place for a big family getaway but you need your own vehicle to going around. The villa is typically resident villa. The good thing is that it comes with all the kitchen amenity, perfect for big family who want to cook themselves. The pool is just like 1.5 X 2 meters, not for swimming but just good enough to soak yourself in the pool while having a glass of wine! You will find that villa condition is quire run down (compare to my first visit) but still acceptable. The hotel staff and maintenance guys was very friendly. I dont mind coming back for my family not-so-far getaway.

The hotel was very quiet. Car Park was very small. Receptions were not friendly and didn't have service minds. We booked Executive 3-Bedroom Suite with Spa Bath. There were 2 floors, kitchen and living room on the 1st floor with Flat TV. Phone was out of service. Kitchen was very dirty. One Big Bedroom with bathtub and two small bathroom sharing the other bathroom. The bathroom was very old. There was a spa bath on the balcony but full of stains. The little pool in front of the room on the first floor was not clean and tiles in the pool were very sharp. The atmosphere in the rooms were spooky. I didn't like the wardrobe with big mirrors at the end of the bed. We asked to look at the Three-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool but the price was double. Everything almost the same only the bigger space and private pool which smaller than Executive 3-Bedroom Suite with Spa Bath pool. So we decided not to upgrade to villa. It's not worth. Breakfast was good, 1 set of breakfast and unlimited bread, milk, and juice.
